No worries, it's not like anyone except me is forcing you to make cards just because it's Yu-Gi-Oh Card Maker. YCM is a really, I guess 'flexible' place outside of the Card Maker itself. You can Roleplay, talk about Music, Video Games, etc. and of course, talk about the actual YGO Card Game, and post up your Decks for any edits and whatnot. Long story short, I once again say, welcome to YCM :)

If one has known me for an extensive amount of time, one knows that I do not dabble with Introductions and its hoard of horrible members. In fact, I've even taken certain action to avoid newer members until they've gotten out of the Custom Cards spirit and lurked a bit moar in General. Looking at new users and seeing something generic like DeathNote1961 really burns my eyes, and makes me feel that the internet world is being infested with idiots of all kinds. But then one might ask why I'm here in the first place. Surely there is no reason for my to be involved with anything that is included in Introductions, much less some random member.

 

No, there is a certain reason I came here. I suggest you look at my username, now back to his, now back to mine, now back to his. Sadly, mine isn't his. However, I don't want his username. In fact, this isn't even about the basic core of his username. I was drawn to his profile from his username. I was drawn to his attitude from his profile. And I am now drawn to this thread due to his attitude. It's a simple chain reaction, all originating from his username. Such simplicity, yet still has such mysterious nature to it. Do you not understand what his username carries in my eyes, and presumably in General's eyes?

 

But I would like to address something without directly talking to the topic creator (whose name has still not be mentioned in my post here). As a new member, with a horrid username, I roamed around Custom Cards. And I tell this to all the new people I encounter: that craze will end. I made hundreds upon hundreds of cards, and spent most of tenth grade making cards. However, this does not hold true for your entire YCM career, and everyone gets bored of making cards one day. When you (I apologize for using "you", but it would be quite ignorant and quite broad to say "one" in that situation) get bored of Custom Cards, please visit General, as this is where you will bloom as a member, where you will have most of your member-to-member experiences. And if you are anything like me, where you will have the most fun.

 

Drawn to a profile due to a username, it seems silly, but the exact contrary holds true. It is not silly in any regards. A username alone paints a picture about someone; an avatar adds color. Some text puts finishing details, and a personality rounds off the picture. This member will go far, I am sure of that.
