So are you going to recolor all of Nidoking? I can't think of a good way to mix the purple and black. Not a splicer myself but its coming along nicely.

Yeah, I probably will down the line. But right now I just want all the guideline textures out of the way, while retaining the purple nidoking so I still feel like I'm editing it. When you scratch EVERY PAINSTAKING DETAIL, it gets on you xD.

Simple:

The trick is that you have to 'balance' it.
By that, I mean you dont place all your colors in the same area.
You use a bit of Giratina's Grey/Black next to Nidoking's Purple and/or Giratina's Yellow, and it gives it that sort of 'complete' feel, while also removing possible clutter from using dark color 1 next to dark color 2.
More or less, you want to go for a contrasting color scheme here.
Like with my example, I hardly used purple at all, and the grey/black makes it 'pop'.

The wings, IMO, would be too distracting.
The point of it is that its (mostly) a Nidoking re-color and/or edit
Nidoking doesnt need wings, as hes a demonic force that creates fear across the land.

Armz, I'll PM you the finished version. I haven't had much time with Art lately, all busyness @.@... And the design is more of a literal merge. So I'm going to need Origin Forme too.

Make a bigger mouthguard.

And stick red on black, it's more menacing. Make a U(V?) shape on the head(Giratina's Crown) and do something to the ears?
