Seems over contrasted and really bright in the middle.

Also the centre card areas are barely visible.

card images are barely visable to bright like liam said turn the contrast down also like liam said actually just do what ever liam said.

And I'm aware that not all playmats have card places, but as there are some visible on yours, you would need to make them all visible.

Do Something different, but try to make it reasonable.

You can use Slightly see-through rectangles instead of the back of yugioh cards for card places. I feel that it works better, but again. Its all you.

But you CAN use them, and IF your going to use them, they look better without the yugioh card backings
