OOC: You are all in a classroom. You don't know about the final test YET. Oh, and yeah, I'm an old guy named Master.

IC:

Master looked at all the top assassins of his academy. This was the first year he was actually sad not all of them were going to live. Many of them were extremely talented. It was as if they were born to be assassins.

Incognito, the game that started it all; the academy, the secrets, the assassinations...everything. It was just a game his ancestor made up when he was a kid. His ancestor and his friends would just play with little clay men. Generations passed as game became more and more real. Eventually, there was blood. Master doubted that his ancestor knew that his little game would turn into a real, bloody test for a secret academy of assassins.

This year will be a great year for Incognito, Master thought.

"Alright students. The you've climbed your way to the top. I am honored to be in front of the best assassins of the world. All of you are ready for the final test, but we must prepare it first. For now, you can practice."

Master then stood up and left the room.

Unko sat in the back of her classroom, doing Tarot predictions with her cards. She charged 10G per reading, and Master didn't seem to mind. She had already made 100G that way, and had just finished doing another reading.
"And this card represents..." she began, flipping the card, "...oh, my. This card represents a broken promise, and betrayal. And a fatal error. Oh, my. Well, maybe this final card will be more positive than the last three. And it's... oh... it's a reversed fool. It means you will make a grave and fatal mistake... Oh my.. Well, don't worry, they're just cards." Unko put her cards away and shooed the seeker. Then she counted her income from today.
"Hundred and nine... hundred and ten! Ha! That's a decent income. Not as much as last week's total, but still pretty high."

Kingstar was leaning on his chair as he heard through Masters announcement after hearing it he smiled and started laughing.

"YA-HA-HA-HA-HA! Oh Master you do crack me up with your senile old words." Kingstar stopped laughing and had a more serious look in his eyes but still contained his smile, he stood up on his chair and placed his right foot on his desk.
"Listen up your logic is irrelevant when you say 'Best Assassins in the world' you wanna know why?" Kingstar paused and pointed his finger towards the ceiling.
"It is because I am the greatest assassin in the world, ME KINGSTAR!!! No one can defeat me in battle because I kill them before the battle even starts." Kingstar looked down to the front of the room and noticed that Master had already left.
"WHAT THE HELL!? HOW DARE HE LEAVE IN THE MIDDLE OF MY SPEECH? Such a rude old man..." Kingstar yelled and sat back down with a frown now on his face.

'Senile old coot...' Kingstar thought as he sat there.

Sheng Huo simply watched Kingstar as he went further and further into his rant, calm dark eyes observing the young man shouting at Master, who had left a couple of minutes ago.

"I'm not sure if it's Master whose insane, Kingstar, after seeing that performance." Sheng smiled, then got up from his seat and left the room, his short brown robe swishing behind him. Sheng worked his way down to a practicing room, where Sheng had set up several wood dummies up a little while before. Without waiting for a second, Sheng flung himself forward, his claws shrieking out of their holster as he did so. He lightly pressed down on a button on his palm, and instantly a couple of claw-blades shot forward, and one of the wood dummies fell away, three blades now implanted in its chest. Sheng jumped up into the air, using his momentum to throw himself above a second dummy. Another light finger-brush and the dummy exploded as a blade planted in his head. Right before he landed, Sheng twisted in midair, now facing the third and final dummy. With explosive movements, Sheng stabbed the dummy once, twice, three times. Landing lightly on his feet, he looked up at the dummy. It fell apart a second later. Sheng smiled, then turned to retrieve his blades.

'Foolish simpleton, how dare he mock me like that well just you wait Sheng one of these days you'll be off your guard and on that day it will turn into night very shortly for you...' Kingstar thought to himself as he closed his eyes and smiled. He opened his eyes again and pulled out his Knife from his pocket and examined it as his grin widened. 'Oh yes it will be very very dark for you indeed Sheng.' Kingstar closed his eyes and placed his Knife back into his pocket. 'Who needs to practice when you are as great as me Kingstar?' Kingstar thought to himself and took a nap.

Donald sat at the front of the class listening to the master as he explained that he was one of his best assasins. "Not bad" Donald thought to himself , I might just be able to win this thing. He suddenly seen 2 people jump up from behind him and as he heard shouting turned around to see someone with a knife in their hand saying something to a fellow assasin, the classroom was fairly big so Donald only heard what sounded like 2 names , Kingstar and Sheng. As he turned back around to listen to the master again he saw the master leave the classroom as a second later he saw a fellow assasin leave. "Whats wrong with these people" He said to himself. He decided to look outside to see where they had both gone but they had disappeared.

Shortly after Master had left the room, he fell down on his knees. His assistants quickly ran to help, but he was already up before they could do anything.

"Master, are you all right?" they asked.

Master looked at his gray beard. He noticed the color was slowly becoming lighter. It won't be long before it turns white. "I will die soon. That's why I'm making this year's Incognito will be special."

"Don't say such a thing. I know you still have at least a few years," an assistant said.

"The last person standing in this game will become my replacement," Master continued.

Kingstar was slightly stunned that Master had fallen to the ground so suddenly but he still managed to run over and help. Kingstar heard Master say something about replacement and game this confused Kingstar and asked.

"Master what is this 'game' you're talking about? Is it some sort of Board Game? Either way it does not matter because I Kingstar will still come out on top and surpass you and everyone else involved in this game of yours but please for their sakes what are the rules and info of this game of yours?" Kingstar asked as he watched and waited for a reply from his Master. Kingstar became irritated that the answer is taking longer than he expected.

"ANSWER ME YOU SENILE OLD COOT!" Kingstar raised his voice and suddenly had a crazed look in his eyes.

Ping watched Kingstar's tyrade. What a moron, he thought. Ping was annoyed by the full-of himself idiot. He left to train before Master collasped. He always trained in the same way physical training first, followed by studying human anatomy and physics, all of which honed his skills. He observed Sheng practicing and was impressed. "Hello Sheng. That was an impressive demonstration. I f you want you can watch mine." Ping said to Sheng, as he replaced the destroyed dummies with fresh ones. "You might want to move now." Ping stood in the middle of the dummies. He was surrounded. He picked up his spear and straightened his cloak. He pulled a wood black egg from his cloak and threw it at a dummies face. He didn't waste real ones in training. "Blinded." He then rushed at the "blinded" dummy. He hit it's abdomen with the shaft of his spear hard, then stabbed it's head with the point. "Broken ribs, fatal brain damage. Dead." He then attacked the adjacent dummy, Hitting its legs with the shaft, then quickly slashing the lower abdomen and neck. "Broken shin, diembowelment, sliced arteries. Dead." He turned and threw his shortspear at another, a direct hit to the heart. "Punctured heart. Dead." Then, he ran after the last dummy, punching him in the sternum then the back of the neck ( Hitting a nerve bundle) in rapid succesion, then flipping it on its back, and kicking it in the neck. "Hemorraged diaphram, limbs disabled, crushed trachea. Dead." Thats how fast Ping can kill 4 untrained people. "Goodbye, Sheng." Ping left to study.

"Greetings, Ping-xián." Sheng replied in response to Ping, knowing the use of the honorific for a friend would please the young man. Sheng stepped back and observed Ping's training, noting the ferocity and deadliness of his attacks with that spear of his. He is...quite strong. Sheng thought. If I ever find myself up against him, I will have to be sure not to hold anything back. However, there is NOTHING that can stand up to me and my claws. And with this final thought imprinting a smile on Sheng's lips, he left a second before Ping did. Wandering the corridors of the assassination school, Sheng found himself stumbling upon Master, who seemed to just be getting up from the ground. Kingstar was also there, shouting at the prostate old man. "Master!" Sheng cried, hurrying over to his sensei. "Are you alright, Master-lǎoshī?" Sheng cast a glare at Kingstar when he heard him insult his teacher. "Show some respect for your teacher, Kingstar!" Sheng said sharply. "Your tongue will get your killed one day!"

Kingstar just looked on as Sheng pushed him out of the way to tend to Master, this angered Kingstar but not as much as what Sheng said moments after checking up on Master.

"Show some respect for my teacher? You're saying that I don't respect my Master? Don't be absurd of course I show respect for Master. I respect the fact that he's willing enough to hand over his position as Master to me Kingstar a young, fast, charismatic, powerful and all conquering assassin. In my honest opinion it's a very smart thing to do especially given his age and that his time of the living is almost up. Also you say that this tongue of mine will get me killed? Don't make me laugh I can never be defeated." Kingstar laughed.

Sheng's grip on his claws tightened as he listened to Kingstar boast. He could never stand that pompous son of a b****. But Sheng forced his inner self to calm, and instead replied with a venom in his voice that could not had been heard before; it was the same type of venomous tongue that Sheng had used after discovering his dead parents. "You can never be defeated, Kingstar?" Sheng asked quietly. "...Isn't that what your clan's leader believed? That did him a lot of good, didn't it? So much for family love..." With this alarming statements dropped and having seen that Master was okay, Sheng got up and left the area, assassins staring open-mouthing at him as he left.

"Sheng are you deaf? I've already told you countless times that I can never be defeated. Oh and you know absolutely nothing about my former clan's intentions so shut the hell up. Besides our old leader was weak that's why my father killed him. It was for the good of the clan however those weaklings didn't like my fathers intentions and kicked him out of the clan. I ran after my father because I agreed that our old leader was weaker than father and father should have been the new leader. Guess what happened next? They've all died because of their mistake by kicking father out. If father was the leader our clan could have been the strongest group of assassins ever. And I wouldn't be standing here talking to you, chances are that I would have already killed you by now if the clan was still active." Kingstar shouted at Sheng who left while Kingstar was shouting.

"Wow that's expected of a low-class assassin, just walking off while greater assassins are talking to them now that is disrespectful." Kingstar added as he shook Master still trying to receive an answer from him.

Unko watched Kingstar's little tirade. What a low-classed punk, she thought to herself, such arrogance will get him killed one day... Someone should knock him down a notch. She pulled out one of her cards, XIII Death, and walked by Kingstar. She took the corner and made it appear as if she accidentally cut him. Her ploy was perfect. No one would suspect a thing. She apologised and made her way out to Master.
"Here, Master, what do you mean 'last one standing?' What's the game? I'm sure that a board game couldn't prove our skill..."

(OOC: XIII Death is poisoned. So, Kingstar has been poisoned. And no one except Unko knows that the card is poisonous in the first place.)

(OOC: @Kirby: Kinda godmoddy, don't you think? Well we have antidotes in the academy anyways, so no one needs to worry.)

Master ignored all the questions his students were asking. He can't afford to waste energy. He signaled for an assistant to come. He pulled the assistant's collar down so that his mouth was in front of the assistant's ear.

"We can't wait much longer," Master whispered. "We have to start soon."

"But what about the other-"

"The seven will have to do," Master interrupted. "Tonight. You will give out the instructions tonight. Now go."

The assistant nodded and quickly left.

(OOC: All of you will get a PM when I have the time. The next posts should be you guys gearing up and going to your starting points. Right now, your characters are still practicing. Once you get your letter, you can go to your starting point.)

(OOC - What the hell Kirby you can't just automatically say that the card has been poisoned and then proceed to cut me without giving me a chance to dodge. >_>. What's worse is this is all before the game has started I could already be dead without having a fighting chance.)

Kingstar was more frustrated that Master continued to ignore him dispite all the shakes and yelling he did to get Masters attention. Kingstar stood up and made his way out the room but before he did he stopped just at the door.

"I've had enough of Master and his old man smell. I am heading off and perfecting my skills remember next time I see you all I will be stronger than what I am now. Not that you all stood a chance anyway I'm just sayin'." Kingstar closed his eyes and smiled for a few seconds then walked out the door.

OoC: Don't worry, I'll come to your rescue, King.

IC: "You!" Sheng suddenly appeared again, and he advanced on Unko. He had turned to look back and had seen the stealthy woman brush up against Kingstar, and then there had been a flash of color as she had covered up something in her hand. Having instantly remembered Unko's choice of weapons, Sheng surmised that flash had been a card and, being the paranoid man he is, thought it was a weapon. Sheng moved and grabbed at Unko's hand, trying to pull it open and confirm his theory. At the same time, he said, "You sneaky bastard. That is low, even for us assassins. Attacking one of our own! Kingstar," Sheng turned towards the man he considered worthless. However- Sheng had a sense of honor left over from his old days. He could not let this breach in etiquette go. "I would consider taking an antidote or two."
