Prophetic Calamity doesn't really make grammatical sense, how about Calamitous Prophecy (CLPC)?

 

I'm happy with the addition of more generic stuff. Also, just as a little notice, I'm on holiday until Sunday, so I'll see you then.

well at least the choice of words i have can still be usable in a way heh.

 

i have a bit of a fun challenge lol, make a written card of something that would make you rant about or feel pissed off and perhaps to describe the story as in the effect. :) now that i realized, this could be a good method for emotional relief :D

There will be no prio list. The set will contain ~100 cards as usual, except we ask since Leo and Alfred are gone until sunday to leave some space for them :P

 

I will begin the first submissions! Remember, the set is Calamitous Prophecy (CLPC) !

 

|Trench Warfare|1|CLPC|Spell Card|Spell|||||Activate only when you control at least 1 monster and your opponent controls more monsters than you. Destroy Spell or Trap cards on the field up to the difference in the amount of monsters you and your opponent control.|

 

|Picking Pidgeon|2|CLPC|Trap Card|Trap||Continuous|||Once per turn, you can declare a card type (Monster, Spell, Trap) and reveal the top card on your deck. If you declared correctly, destroy 1 Spell or Trap card on the field. If you declared incorrectly take 500 damage. Shuffle the revealed card into your deck afterwards.|

 

|Lucrative Scroll Trade|3|CLPC|Spell Card|Spell|||||Select 1 Spell and Trap card (except this card) that each player controls. Switch control of those cards.|

 

|Haze Fairy|1|CLPC|Fairy/Effect|Dark|4||1200|1700|When this card is Normal Summoned, when it is destroyed, you can add 1 Monster with 1500 ATK or less from your Deck to your Hand.|

 

|Bounty Hunter|3|CLPC|Beast-Warrior/Effect|Earth|4||1600|800|When this card destroys a monster as a result of battle, you can add 1 Monster with an ATK equal to or less than the destroyed monster from your Deck to your Hand.|

 

|Cold Front Dragon|3|CLPC|Dragon/Effect|Wind|6||2300|1300|This card is also treated as a WATER monster. You can return 1 face-up Level 4 or lower Dragon-Type monster that you control to your deck and shuffle it face-up to Special Summon this card. If this card is in your Graveyard when you draw that face-up monster, you can return this card to your Deck to Special Summon that monster.|

Alright, i'll bring that up.

 

How many archetypes are there and what do they all focus on?

 

I am allowed to post one right?

 

 

Hmm... well there's:

 

Phoenixians - Burn and destruction, Plant/FIRE

Golems - Rock/EARTH focusing on DEF with some destruction

Tidals - WATER mons who revolve around the effects of Low Tide and High Tide which tag-team

Antennae - Spellcaster/Machine focusing on some synchroing effects, making them into tuners

Mezzos - Swarm + Synchro, Fairy/LIGHT

Interdimensional - Warrior/Spellcaster WIND who focus on RFG

Zero - Swarmers, mostly DARK focusing on 0 ATK and swarm

Reaper - Warrior/DARK focusing on fusions, usually with opponent's monsters

Essence - LIGHT focusing on various effects? (not entirely sure on this one)

Blood Moon - Beast-Warrior/FIRE focusing on Beatdown

 

And yes, you can submit an archetype, 10 or less cards.

it is most likely to be type support but it is also good as archetype support since most archetypes are also type based :)
