I just hope Sea doesn't forget about the email O.o I was looking at Dark doom dragon and i was like WTH? his effect doesn't match the name at all! shouldn't it have an effect that seem like its nature, perhap doom-like? hmm i think for Magician of Knowledge's last effect maybe when a WIND monster return to your hand draw 1 card but that MO. xD

I just came across a blazing rose dragon with a need of BRD, i though we not making cards that relate to YGO's TC? although i hate to say it but it's Oped, since the special summoned is easy, further more it even more of a nuke along with burn damage

I'm surprise that someone got byakko's element right, most people post it as WIND element but in the older days he was know to use wind and electricity ability but now it change that he use ice ability.

Names don't matter. The real problem is playability.

If you actually check the .set, you notice that it is not in it....

Well, we aren't allowed to ask for a change because effect doesn't match name, etc. Even if it doesn't make much sense.. xD

That was created by a member some time ago who i've talked about it not being able to relate to the TCG.. don't worry, it's not in the .set file.

Hmm interesting... It was actually made by a member from an older CCG a loong time ago.. guess you have him to thank :D

Dear Netizens of LCCG,

I have been given permission by the governing body of your club to rejoin the CCG following my dismissal a month or so ago. Following a three day correspondence with Seattleite (and a heated debate), I was given permission to start anew with a tabula rasa provided I apologize. Seeing as Seattleite agreed that I did not ever "attack" the LCCG or its members, I only have to apologize to everyone in the entire once instead of twice. Mistakes have been made. I have always practised debating in a confrontational manner to mimic my debating heroes, who often went on to becoming lauded and confrontational figures. If my style of aggressive, powerful debating tone ever offended anyone, I am sorry.

Regards,

Alfred

eternal darkness? removing cards from play on your side of the field hurts your opponent per turn (shadow dust) and cards in your graveyard increase your health per turn (shadow cleanse)

those are possible names and concept for possibly next set

Shadow Dust

Continuous Spell

This cards effect is activated when a card on your side of the field is removed from play. Each turn deal damage equal too 100 X the number of removed from play cards to your opponent.

(just giving concept to my idea)

This is nof bad however it depend on which side of the player's RFP pile or both. Though I would say to only target your RFP pile. So like this:

"When a card you control is remove from the field from play, inflict 100 damage times the number of your cards removed from play to your opponent."

so the damage is minimal and continuous that way

Ah well i'd have to disagree with both. Dtwrules the first sentence doesn't make much sense (since it's a continuous spell card and can't work like Appropriate). I think this card could rack up major burn, since it implies both player's RFG (Not counting the first sentence since i don't understand it :P) But also I will agree with evan that Scheath's fix makes it more unplayable. Kinda cuts damage potential down.

Looking forward to more of your cards, dtwrules :)

That fix makes it more unplayable. It is already unplayable.

Burn isn't good.

You haven't heard of iHop Burn, have you? Poor soul.

On the topic of Burn, I was thinking about making two archetypes that correspond with Mezzos. Mezzo means "half" in Italian, so I plan to make a slow, control/burn based archetype called "Terzo" (Italian for "Third") and an extremely fast archetype called "Ampio" (Italian for "Large", as a reference to portions of a circle).

Terzo - Defensive, Controlling, Subtle, Slow, Safe

Mezzo - Prophylaxis based (prophylaxis is a word used to describe play that simultaneously attacks and defends, though is not more proficient at either one), smooth, flexible

Ampio - Attacking, Independent, Powerful, Fast, Reckless

I aim to make a sort of Rock-Papers-Scissors thing - Ampio beats Terzo due to extreme speed, Terzo beats Mezzo due to taking out hand advantage and wearing away LP and Mezzo beats Ampio because it is fast enough to set up adequate defences.

This is just an indication of average match-ups between evenly talented duelists - a Terzo duelist will be at a disadvantage from the start against an Ampio duelist (because they are bad match-ups, the same way Drags don't do well against GKs) but that doesn't mean they are certainly going to lose. The Terzo duelist could be talented (and lucky) enough to get a good hand and stop the first wave of attacks long enough to gain advantage and win. Let's look at three chess players.

Tigran Vartanovich "Iron Tigran" Petrosian - Very defensive, controlling, safe

Vasily Smyslov - Equal in attack and defence, balanced, old-fashioned

Mikhail Nekhemivich "The Wizard from Riga" Tal - Very attacking, reckless, fast

They are very similar to my three archetypes except they match up differently - Petrosian beat Tal, Tal beat Smyslov and Smyslov was better with Petrosian than Tal. Petrosian was so used to shutting out powerful attacks that more normal, simple strategies like Smyslov's were more difficult to dampen than Tal's genius. Petrosian drew almost of his games and the ones he did win he only won after he had eliminated all of his opponent's resources. Tal would attack, Petrosian would shut him down. Wave after wave after wave until Tal had nothing left to create and Petrosian went in for the kill. In Chess, there is no luck. In the TCG there is. If Ampios are unable to get a decent hand in the first turn then Terzos may be able to get a good hand and start building up that burning wall.

When a card you control is sent to the graveyard you increase your life points 50 X the number of cards in your graveyard.

(anyone got a monster in mind?)

I think the card is ok but can't really be used in a deck with Shadow Dust. Also thinking with a card like Blood Sap, if you get enough cards in the grave somehow you have a steady flow of cards by activating normal spells/traps. It's interesting, but probably unlikely. Maybe i might make some more cards to make that combo work ;D

Shadow Monster? I haven't had any ideas but when I do i'll let you know.

This is interesting but falls on a very delicate balance, specifically Ampio. If the deck is extremely fast and has too much support it will decimate everything without elements of luck and be broken. But on the other hand if it has too little support it will be too luck-based, relying only on the opening hand which ain't good either. Just food for thought.

Side Note - Leo told me he won't be available until monday D: But good news, progressing on the Duel Arena upgrade. Just kinda a pain in the ass D:

BTW has anyone found images for the wikia?
