A little help would be appreciated. First, where can I download the set? And second, what is your current project? Since if you tell it to me, maybe I'll be able to help you. :)

EDIT: Nevermind. Find every link. But the second part is still true: if someone could tell me what kind of project do you working at the moment, I will be able to help.

If I'm thinking of the right thing, the project is almost YVD designed specifically for the CCG.

You start with an Attribute-themed started deck, and earn DP by dueling, which can then be "spent" on card packs or specific cards. It's actually quite nifty, but we've experienced a few problems with it as of late.

Also, you can use it to update your set file, without having to manually copy and paste everything.

As far as help goes, Seattleite does most of the work himself, but people help chip in by finding images for cards so they can be added to the Duel Arena, for an extra sense of realism. Sea has the download link for it, should you want to try it for yourself.

Hope I helped.

Thanks snowy. That's basically it - one thing i'd like to point out is a difference between it and YVD is this has automatic movements (no ctrl +d to draw, no right click to destroy, etc)

It would be great if you could help, but the only 2 things is the images like Snowy said, or if you know about VB.net. It was coded in VB 6.0 but the problems experienced were mostly on Windows 7 computers so i decided to upgrade it to .net. But i still have to fix the issues from changing the programming language. It's pretty confusing right now ^^; but eventually i'll work through it.

oops, sorry i forgot to finish it :/ posted by accident

the real post:

Sure. Here is a comparison to YVD

Pros:

* Automatic movements

* Better quality pictures

* Animation

* Duel field backgrounds for field Spell cards

* less chatting required

* Music selector

* Features

- YVD codes creator

- yvd.set updater, for itself and YVD also

- Pictures updater

* Custom Banlist

* Secluded area for extra deck

* Exclusive Cards (eventually ;D)

Cons:

* Prone to bugs

* Must earn cards through dueling (but that's part of the fun no?)

* Must use hamachi to duel

Possible ideas in the future:

* Leaderboard implemented (evanm suggested it, he's working on it)

* More animation (if it doesn't slow it down)

* Human v.s. CPU duels?

* Tag duels?

In short, i would recommend getting both ;). YVD is more reliable right now, but Duel Arena will be reliable too, soon.

BTW, when i say chatting, i mean how you have to type in everything for YVD, like how you sometimes can't target a f/d monster for an attack and you have to say so.

Well, LeoMence will probably have some requests too, but I think, since last set some more decktypes were made that we should alternate and this set be more focused around supporting decktypes. Also I think support for single cards (like Starcatcher Show and Bird from the Magician's Hat) would be really cool :D since we don't get much of that.

Also guys i felt like writing a strategy guide on fusion monsters in the forum if you want to check it out :D

I don't know about that.

But I do want to add in something to the set.

Check my sig for the reverse monsters.

@ Wiithepeople - I checked your thread. Sorry, we aren't going to accept new types of summoning. Plus next set we already are planning to give archetype slots to members who have added in generic cards but have waited to add archetypes. BTW what was confusing about my post?

Speaking of new type of summoning, i think i'm having a breakthrough but i just need someone's help to organize my thoughts little better because i'm having too many at the same time @_@ and this is not for LCCG purpose, no it's just Wiithepeople gave me a jolt of inspiration =_=

OT: oh after skimming card sets database, i think what lacking a bit is more unusual type and attribute combination monsters, like Water Plant type, Wind Plant-type, Wind Fiend, well can't do anything with Pyro, oh wait Water Pyro(cold flame) lol let brainstorm some more ideas!
