"It is true that Hayate has a very impressive record when it comes to missions, but Inotsu has more experience in the field due to the fact that he is older than most of you. However, both Inotsu and Hayate are excellent strategists that's why I'm choosing the both of them to be the respective leaders of their teams when the main group is broken up into two smaller groups. Each of you have your own specific capabilities and I'm choosing the leader based on that plus their knowledge of their teammates. Choosing a leader is not based on performance alone. You must understand that factor Kaemon. My decision is final, now Inotsu, here is the scroll detailing what you'll have to do once you get to your location which is an abondoned military lot near the Land of Rivers. You won't miss it, it is a rather large lot containing several warehouses." the chief explained.

After recieving the scroll, Inotsu placed it in his large pouch. "Now, as I said before this group may be linked to a larger organization. I want you to bring back their ringleader alive for interrogations, got it?" the chief asked. "Yes sir. You have no need to worry especially when we're on the mission right guys?" Inotsu said. "In any case, we'll need to head out now to avoid wasting time. Let's go." After that, the group left the village for the abandoned military lot.

[2 Hours Later]

The group had been travelling rather diligently, rarely resting. Inotsu looked back at the others who were also travelling diligently. "We've been travelling for awhile now and should probably arrive pretty soon now. Now, we don't want to do anything rash here that will get people's attentions so we'll have to execute our plan in a quiet manner." Inotsu said to the group. "Anybody need a break before we continue? We might get into a fight so make sure you have energy to fight when you need to." Inotsu said.

Kai looked at Inotsu as he spoke although kai was trying his hardest to not fall behind of Inotsu he slowly replied while panting lightly. "Rest?, ha...no need for rest, for me anyway. whilst travelling along the way Kai had one goal in mind, to have a big effect on the results of their mission he wanted to make sure that he wasn't heavy baggage, although his specialty in genjutsu he is great at obtaining information on the enemy as his jutsu surrounds tapping into a persons mind and knowing things like, personal information, fears, beliefs, etc. He wanted to prove his worth to the ANBU

Inotsu listen in closely at Kai's response. "You sure you need to take a brief break? You sound kind of tired. You know Kai, you don't need to put up a tough act to prove yourself amongst the ANBU Black Ops and the ANBU chief, just do your best and don't give up. Here at least drink some water before you get dehydrated alright?" Inotsu said as he threw Kai his water container. "(Hmm, I think we're getting extremely close now.... They'll probably be guards there so we'll have to take them out as quietly as we can....)" Inotsu thought to himself.

Hayate stepped forward after hearing the results of how the leaders where set up and bowed to the chief once again, then turning to Inotsu he bowed to him as well. The chief slowly relaxed for the moment it seemed and Hayate turned towards Kaemon, "I'm glad you think highly about me and my abilities!" he said to Kaemon, "But I'm glad that it worked out this way and I have such a reliable group of members to work with. We all have our own strengths and weaknesses, I think thats whta makes us such a worthy group of members inside the Anbu." Hayate pondered a bit about the strategic advantages of the members in the group. From what he new, Inotsu had the ability to telepathticly communicate to everyone from where ever his location not to mention their was also the greatly advanced interigation skills he possesed. He would be an overall great leader in this.

Ookami posseses the Byakugan he is a great fighter and all around great scouter and sensor for the group. Kaemon on the other hand is a good mid range to close range fighter made especially useful with his Kekkai Genkkai. Kai has a strong personality mixed with his reliable use of his Genjutsu type kekkai Genkkai is good for distractions and cover within the mission. Then their was Hayate himself, being able to defend his team greatley and do some advanced Gravity techs using his Kekkai Genkkai makes for a reliable defensive and offensive competitor. "(The main group of us also have a very high inteligenice level and also it seems Inotsu and I both have a very strategic mind. well this should be interesting!")

~2 hours Later~

Hayate and the others where traveling a good distance to reach their location. After quite a distance in time Intosu stopped and said we where getting close and asked if anyone needed rest before we entered the hideout of the kidnappers as it could be a battle once we start. "No I doubt anyone would need to stop even though we have come a good distance. But I do believe now is probably the best and possibly the only time we might have to formulate any type of strategies we can to get this job done quietly and smoothly." Hayate had just landed on the ground after the last leap towards the group. He turned slightly pulling a small black leather book from his pocket with some writing on it.

"Is there truly any need for rest?" Kaosu, who had already been informed, along with Reddo two hours earlier, said. "My Devil Eyes hunger for blood, but don't you go thinking about it. I am well aware that no one else likes the taste. But a strategy may be needed. Although, if you ask me to formulate one, I'll just say just charge in, shed blood, and leave the disposal of the corpses to me. That is, unless nobody is going to be killed, which is no fun at all."
"There are things equally IMPORTANT to AMUSEMENT, Kaosu." Reddo said in a strained manner, the first sentence he'd said all day.
"So says you."

Yukan was grinning wide while seeing the discussion of who should be leader of the mission. He thought Kai's responses were hilarious. [i]"It's for the best that Inotsu is the leader of our mission, the Yamanaka clan are experts at strategy. His strategizing will make the difference in the mission."[/i] Yukan nodded when Hayate and Inostu were named the two leaders for when the group splits up. He knew that the chief had made the right decisions.

2 Hours Later

Yukan was traveling with his teammates behind Inotsu. They would be at their destination soon, as pointedd out by Inotsu. Yukan was relieved that they were finally going to have some action in their mission. He wasn't tired from the long traveling at all. [i]"I guess that's what training before a mission does for you."[/i] Then Hayate took out a black book and explained that right now would be the best time to strategize. "Yeah I think Hayate is right. It would be the best time right now to make our plans but we don't really know what to expect..." Yukan said to the group.

"Alright team, let's stop for a brief moment to rest and come up with an infiltration strategy." Inotsu said as he stopped his running. Just then Inotsu saw the arrival of Reddo and Kaosu, who already seems to be having a brief argument for a moment. "Well its nice to see you two are coming along. Well in any case, charging in blindly is not recommended. Our goal is to rescue the Daimyo's son and capture the group's leader for interrogation so we can't do anything hasty. But it's good to see you're enthusiastic about your job Kaosu." Inotsu lightly joked.

"Alright everybody, gather around." Inotsu took out the scroll which he had previously opened before they gotten here. "Now here's a map of our destination. It's a no brainer that this place will be guarded plus we have to worry about the large group of ninjas located in their warehouses. This main warehouse here is the location of the Fire Daimyo's son while this smaller warehouse in the far east corner is the location of the group's leader. Sorrounding this place are watch towers, four of them as you can see. Each one is manned by three long-ranged ninjas."

"Kai and Yamato, you two will be in charge of placing them under genjutsu, make sure to use genjutsu techniques that will keep them quiet. Now there is also a main entrance guarded by two people, Kaemon, that's where you come in. Use your Crimson Snake techniques to take them out. Then I will need all of the middle range fighters to quietly take out the ninjas within the watch towers. Do this as quietly as you can got it? After we successfully infiltrate the area, I will give further instructions and we'll break up into two teams. Any suggestions before we begin this operation?" Inotsu asked.

[Mysterium Tremendum]

Kaemon waited for silence after the chief, Hayate, and Inotsu had spoken to respond. "I merely did the research one is supposed to do on a daily basis, better to know who most people are since you might have to work with them. I've read both Inotsu's file as well as yours and Ookami's. While Inotsu does have a good deal of experience and ability in the field, you have a good leadership performance record so I believe in the better of the 2. Kaemon turned and bowed to the ANBU chief before leaving with the rest of the ANBU members.

-------------------------[2 Hours Later]--------------------------------

Kaemon landed softly on the ground as Inotsu called for a stop. He watched as Kai was passed the water bottle and Hayate landed nearby. Kaemon stood up and felt fine and able to go on at full power for quite awhile. At the moment, Kaemon felt like he could run marathons without stopping, his usual limits just didn't seem to be present at all. He was always in the top-tier in athleticism since his muscles received more blood in a second than even most ninja do as well as his upbringing that required that he be as athletic as possible to hunt, but today he just felt unstoppable. He stopped for a little bit while the others arrived and spoke and as soon as he heard Inotsu's plan, Kaemon nodded his head. "Good enough plan, but the four watch tours will have to be done at the same time so that none notice anything odd about the other, the effects of Genjutsu are obvious." Kaemon spoke his input carefully.

-It really did not take long for the ANBU chief to figure out the order of business of who would be leading the team. Granted many people held different skills and abilities that were well suited for leadership, but Inotsu held the most experience and that was to be said for something? Not saying a word he allowed everyone to get their own word in. Each having different opinion on the matter as well as a few arguments. However, once all of that was said and done the chief finished up and then dismissed the ANBU team.-

[b]{2 Hours Later}[/b]

-The travel was not hard; everyone had their own way of travel to get to their destination. Landing softly on the other side of Inotsu; Ookami stood up to full height? His ANBU mask concealing his face; masking his appearance from any enemy. His observation around the area continued as such. Without his byakugan activated he was able to pick up on the slightest movement and tell whether or not if it was enemy or an ally. His gaze still remained firm waiting for when they will be moving out again.-

[i]This seems so simple and easy. I doubt we will be able to get in so suddenly.[/i]

-Ookami seemed a little off track considering that his senses where more sharp then most of the members of the team. Granted he held the byakugan, but that did not mean he actually had to use it to pick up on chakra signs. Moving forward; Ookami stood next to Inotsu after the discussion was over and what they would be doing. For now he simply waited for when they would be taking off again.-

Yukan nodded when Inotsu was finished with the strategy. "Great plan. This is going to be a piece of cake," Yukan said grinning with confidence. Then Kaemon spoke of having to place the four watch towers under genjutsu at the same time. "Well, there are only three ninja on the watch towers right? So really, we just need to put three of them under genjustu at the same time," he replied to Kaemon's comment. [i]"I'll prove myself by successfully taking out the shinobi within the watch towers in absolute silence. My light release jutsus would greatly come in handy in this mission, but it's to risky. What if we encounter a strong opponent on the inside of the warehouse. Then I would be fatigued by the light release and would be defeated by the opponent. Damn what do I do?"[/i]

[Ghoulish]

"Hmph." Kai snuffed. "Leave the Genjutsu to me, and anything else we might need to know about their base, no doubt they'll probably have some kind of mind blocking jutsu however." Kai stood up and put on his mask. He then slowly made a hand sign, his necklace began glowing lightly, his eyes were closed, he then quickly opened it. "Your the leader give the word when everyones ready, my specialty is genjutsu so ill be able to take out more then one at a time if need be. Doubt i'll need Kaemon's help." Kai stated his arrogant self surfacing once again.

[Mysterium Tremendum]

Kaemon thought over the plan and by habit constructed a back-up one should something go awry with the 1 Inotsu constructed just as a safety precaution. He then heard Kai's proclamation and stood up and faced Kai and spoke in an overtone that barely restrained his anger, "We work as a team Kai, the mission comes before all else and we all have to work together. " Kaemon stopped speaking for a moment, "I realize you're a genjutsu specialist and I'm not, but I have my own abilities so don't put yourself above me because you never know what those abilities might be. You never know, before this mission is done you might need my help more than a few times. Kaemon turned away and faced Inotsu.

"The plan is solid, but we'll need to execute it quickly. We don't know if they might be expecting us, what the chief said about these guys being part of a big organization gives me an uneasy feeling. They might even have a spy planted in the ANBU and we could be walking straight into a trap." Kaemon quieted and awaited a response from Inotsu.

[Ghoulish]

Kai thought for a second and lowered his hands whilst being confronted by Kaemon who had every right to be angered, kai was arrogant and over assumed his role. Kai however being his diluted self simply smirked. "Save your anger Keamon." Kai's necklace started glowing slightly more brighter as his eye began to twitch. "As I am saving mine." Kai's necklace began diminishing in glowing as he then exhaled. As Keamon began applauding Inotsu's plan, which all in all was a very well thought out plan, Kai got frustrated and jealouse, his hatred at Inotsu, although not mutually shared, had started from Inotsu basically saving his life, so why did he hold this grudge? especially when the deed was a life saving one. kai didn't liek to talk about it, whenever he did his anger woild burst, which would awaken his Kuramagun.

-The plan overall was good; the approach was good, the ANBU that would be taking out the guards, and even the route of entrance. It was above anything else. However, Ookami was always one for coming up with a back-up plan in case the first plan didn't work. His eyes shifted upward having a funny feeling within the pit of his stomach. Without even producing any hand seals; Ookami shut his eyes. No more then a fraction of a second later his eyes sprang open with his kekkei genkai now active. The pupils now more visible with veins bulging on the sides of his face and around his eyes.-

-His vision spread out far observing over the complex; catching each and every single presence of chakra that he could. Aside from the guards that Inotsu spoke of; Ookami caught the presence of more guards within the facility. They were now more heavily guarded then anything else? This meant that this would be all the more difficult to perform the operation. Closing his eyes once more he de-activated his byakugan and reopened them.-

[i]Let's hope this plan works.[/i]

-Turning away he walked over to Inotsu; with his ANBU mask over his face he lifted his left hand up and placed it firmly on his friends shoulder. This was a symbol that there would be more guards then what was shown outside in the guard towers or around the entrance. Ookami did not want to put the team on edge of what was inside the complex, but he just wanted Inotsu know that they would have even tougher to get through this whole deal even if they were split up into to smaller groups. Ookami's observation and survalence was never wrong. That was what made the byakugan a strong kekkei genkai as well as a strong fighting style with the Gentle Fist technique.-

Hayate listened closely to the other members come up wit the best possible out come, it seemed Inotsu had put alot of faith in his team and he was sure they wouldn't dissapoint him. Hayate on the other hand was a little more leary about how succesful the plan would be. "First off Inotsu I agree your plan is rather good, but their are a few points that could make things go a bit smoother," Hayate said. Stepping forward slightly he looked over Inotsu's shoulder at the map he was given of the complex. "First off though the towers have to be taken out by Genjutsu that doesn't mean we must have the specialists do it. I'm sure most if not all of us have some bit of Genjustu abilities." Hayate glanced over at Yamato and Kai, "The best solution I see is for each of you to use one lower ranking Genjustu on them. The first person can do a visual Genjutsu, where as the second can place a speaking Genjustu on them. This will not only eliminate the possibility of them talking and or seeing us, but will also eliminate the possibility that a single person has used to much of their chakra before the intial confrontation." Hayate pointed to the towers as he explained the positions needed to reach all the towers for both users. He also went on to explain that once placed under the Genjutsu the two can swiftly take out the guards in silence and meet back up with their respected group.

"Furthermore as you pointed out Kaemon can take out the guards at the gate using his abilities but I think it best if I atleast go with him to make sure it goes smoothly, we can never be sure what the enemy has planned for intruders, nore do we know their abilities." Hayate then pointed to an area a bit behind where Kaemon and himself would attack the gates, "Inotsu can be waiting with the rest of the group here, and Yamato and Kai can regroup with you their once their done. Once Kaemon and myself take care of the front gates and clear the area of enemies we can intiate a regroup inside the complex and we can formulate the rest inside." Hayate finally finished his explanation and awaited any replies about his advice to the plan.

Inotsu looked at Yukan and smiled. "It's good that you have enthusiasm Yukan, this mission will be successful as long as we worked together." Inotsu said. Inotsu then noticed Yukan a bit uncertain about himself, so Inotsu placed his hand on Yukan's shoulder. "Hey Yukan, I'm sure with you'll be able to be of great help on this mission." Inotsu proclaimed to ease Yukan of his worries.

Inotsu turned to Kai and Kaemon who were having an argument. "Alright that's enough arguing you two. Kaemon's right, each of us have our own different abilities that will benefit the success of this mission. As I said before, Kai, you and Yamato will be in charge of placing the watch tower guards under genjutsu, and Kaemon will be in charge of taking out the two guards guarding the entrance with his crimson snakes. I'll be using my Mind Transfer Jutsu to transfer my mind into a bird so I can survey from above to see when it is safe to enter the premise." Inotsu explained.

Inotsu then listened in closely at Hayate's suggestions. "Ahh, I see. I was hoping someone would suggest that. I myself however cannot be the one to help with the genjutsu as I will be surveying from above, but make sure to conserve energy to take out the tower guards, and make sure all of your movements are discreet. Hayate, you'll be Kaemon's bachup in case anything goes wrong and make sure you two are hidden from view. At the edge of this forest there are a lot of thick bushes you two can hide behind, that's where you two will be. Kaemon's crimson snakes technique should be able to do the job quite well. However, you will not do anything without my signal, I'll have to make sure the tower guards are placed under the genjutsu first, got it?"

"Alright, we haven't anymore time to waste, Ookami, when I transfer my mind over you'll have to guard my body while surveying the enemy from the ground. Everybody make sure to stay hidden. If this infiltration is successful, we'll be able to go through with the rest of the mission more smoothly. When I'm in the bird's body, I'll give the signal to use genjutsu techniques by chirping a specific rhythm, you won't miss it. Alright team, let's move." Inotsu said.

[Five Minutes Later at the Forest's Edge]

"There it is, the enemy hideout." Inotsu said quietly. "Alright, let's begin infiltration...." Inotsu spotted a bird on a branch nearby and prepared his jutsu. "Mind Transfer Jutsu...." Inotsu's body became limp, and the bird on the tree branch began pecking on the branch as a signal for the mission to begin. Inotsu flew up into the air using the bird's body and began flying over the area surveying the four watch towers and the warehouses within the military lot.

"(Everything seems fine.... No one is going in or out of the warehouses.... The watch tower guards also seemed bored and tired.... Even though they are considered high-ranking ninjas, they cannot beat human nature.... This is the perfect time to begin infiltration....)" Inotsu thought to himself. Inotsu began to chirp a specific rhythm that the ANBU squad will definately recognize.

"What the hell is that dumb bird doing? Hey shut up up there!" one of the guard towers yelled before going back to sitting down.

-The fact that Kai and Kaemon were still arguing on the matter of how each of them had their own unique abilities that benefited the team in a way? It was nothing to where they all had the same weakness. Ookami's byakugan had a 360 degree field of vision with a blind spot near the back of his neck. However, he knew he could count on his teammates if someone attacked in towards his blind spot. Rolling his eyes; Ookami was threatening to use his Gentle Fist to shut the both of them up. Kaemon seemed like the only one he would agree with, but this was growing tired of fighting when they were supposed to work together as a team.-

-Shaking his head; Ookami placed his focus back on what was occurring. Each had their own ideas to put into the plan, and that helped a lot. Inotsu had actually placed him (Ookami) in charge of his body when the Mind Transfer Jutsu was in play. Without a verbal answer Ookami nodded in approval. The stakes were indeed high of using the Mind Transfer Jutsu to spot anything. However, Ookami's byakugan would also help in the event of finding threats. Observing and scouting was one of his best abilities for this team. Once everything was said and done; the team was off once more.-

-Were Ookami's only thoughts as they progressed towards the complex that they would be infiltrating.-

[b]{Five Minutes Later}[/b]

-Jumping from a tree; Ookami landed next to Inotsu? His right knee pressed up against the ground with his right arm hanging over it while his left arm remained firm. The hideout was not much, but looks were always decieving. Exhaling a breath of air; Ookami shifted his head and eyes over to Inotsu who performed the hand seals for the Mind Transfer Jutsu. Just as he uttered those words; Ookami moved over catching Inotsu's limp body. Quietly he moved into some brush and placed the limp body of Inotsu against a tree. Turning back around he quietly moved over to were he could see. Pushing small twigs and leaves out of the way for a clear visual display.-

[i]Alright time to go to work.[/i]

-Closing his eyes; Ookami lifted his hands up performing the last hand seal used to activate the byakugan: the snake with only his right index finger raised up in a near perfect position. About three seconds later; his eyes shot open revealing the active byakugan. The visible pupil and veins bulging out. Using his kekkei genkai - which did not need much chakra for others to detect - he scanned about the area for chakra signs. Aside from those on his team; he could also sense the chakra of the guards in the towers and at the gate.-

[i]Nothing much for those to take care of those guards.[/i]

-There had been those times that Ookami's eyes were used against him. As of yet his eyesight had not been used against him, but there was always a first time for everything?-

Kaemon listened and waited before speaking, "I'm ok with Hayate as back-up, the worst-case scenario is that these guys are stronger than we anticipate and have foreseen us coming here and things become messy." Kaemon paused, "I'll get as close as I can to the guard and as soon as the guards in the watch-tower are taken care of I'll move in" Kaemon finished and started pr

----------------------------[5 Minutes Later]-----------------------------------

Kaemon laid prone in the ground amidst the tallest shrubs and and most overgrown grass. Not being one of the prime stealth ANBU, Kaemon took extra precautions and stayed out of sight range of the watch towers and guards. He had just reached the best spot possible to take out the 2 guards around the entrance. It was far enough away the guards would not suspect a thing if a ruffle or 2 was heard but close enough that it will not take a lot of chakra at all for Kaemon to use the grass for his Crimson snakes to quickly strangle the 2 unlucky guards. Lying as low as he could get, Kaemon waited in complete silence for the signal to begin his part of the plan as soon as the watch-towers guards had been incapacitated.

[5 minutes later]

Kai awaited for the signal, he had directly in front of him but a distance away, 2 of the towers within range, he should be able to get the men in the towers under one genjutsu. Kai with his eyes closed and hands in the form of a hand sign began thinking to himself. "Quiet...Quietly take them out, if i show them their fear they will scream, if i show them the deceased they will attack nothing, but If I try to learn what they know they will be stunned, I'll use this to learn of something that makes them act normally, I'll influence their memories to allow them to be stunned whilst picturing their most acheived moment, this way they'll appear awake whilst simply watching a past dream. Kai grunted for a second then opened his eyes as he heard the signal he began looking through two of the men's minds the two men stood still with a slight shocked look for their faces. "Come on! Come on! Where is it?!" Kai thought to himself as he searched for the proper Genjutsu ingrediant to match his plan, their most acheived moment. "Found it!" Kai thought, one of the men was picturing his wife holding their newly born child. The man seeing this simply stood with a proud expression on his face. The second man saw himself as a young boy gaining the headband symbol of a ninja from his former village, the man to smiled with confidence. "Done." Kai thought to himself as he watchedto see if the other towers had been taken care of.

OOC: Sorry for not having posted, I havn't had much time recently to post often. I'll be summing up my reactions to all that's happened thus far.

"Kidnapped," Yamato said to himself, moving the white chess pawn forward, then a black pawn, then the white bishop, then the black bishop, taking out the white bishop from the board. [i] Who would have a reason for kidnapping a boy who just sneaked out of his room at night to go meet some friends? While it's true he's the the Daiymo's son, I doubt his ransom would be especially high... especially sine they could take them back themselves.[/i] Yamato moved another white pawn, exposing a white night to his bishop. [i] Hmm... clues as to where they're at... who would be so sloppy? It's highly unlikely that this was left there by accident... no, especially if we're dealing with such a large group. Odds are, it's a trap to reel us or anyone else who goes looking for them into a trap. I move like that would be pointless.[/i] Yamato moved his bishop back one space. [i] Maybe we could use that trap to our advantage. If we were to send a couple of us to this area to investigate, then have a couple more follow them just in case and the rest of us to be in hiding, we could surround our enemy at the source.[/i] On thinking this, Yamato moved the pieces across the board so that they were surrounding the white knight, two pawns in front, followed by his original bishop and a rook, with a pawn and a knight behind them. [i] No, it's too risky. The enemy may very well have anticipated that and made it so that we would fall for such bat and make an ambush on us.[/i] To illustrate this thought, he moved the pieces of white chess pieces around his black ones that were surrounding the white knight. Yamato looked at Kai as he stood and proclaimed his leader ship to the others. [i] Forget it, I've pegged your over all abilities as a pawn in this game of chess... if nothing else, you'd be good for bait, not leader ship...[/i] Yamato looked at Hayake as he suggested Inotsu for the role of leader. He looked back to his chess board and moved his other black bishop from out of it's original position. [i] While it is true he would make a fine leader... I don't know. His tactical skills are nothing as compared to mine, nor the rest of them for that matter. But wold it be right to suggest myself for the role? No, people have been offended more than once by my cold and calculating actions, even if they get the result we want. Now, I think that neither of us deserve to be the leader... still, when it comes down to it, it probably will by Inotsu that takes the lead. Then again... he hasn't ever lead a mission before...[/i] Yamato turned his attention back to Kai as he angrily challenged Inotsu to a fight for the role of leader. Yamato glared under his mask and turned back to his chess board. [i] He's definately not leader material. If anything, he'll be taken out first.[/i] To illustrate this, Yamato moved the second white bishop to "Kai's" pawn and took it off of the board. Hearing the chief's final decision on who was leader, Yamato closed his eyes and shook his head. [i]Two leaders has never worked before. The only thing that comes from two leaders is friction between them and the team. This is doomed to fail... but I won't say anything. After all, no one's vouched for me yet thus far.[/i] Thus, with the chief's decision made, Yamato took out the white bishop with his black one, took out the knight with his rook and the queen with his second bishop, putting the white king in checkmate. [i]Let's hope it all works out in the end... [/i]

- 2 hours later

Yamato walked behind everyone else, thinking about his chess game inside of the chief's office, pondering over what happened. When Inotsu suggested they took a break, Yamato shook his head and said quietly, "We're almost there, no point in taking a break now." Yamato looked at Kai as he put on his tough guy act, even though he was obviously tired as the rest of them. Of all the others there, he liked Kai the least. His brash actions, his boiling emotions, they weren't suited for someone in the anbu. Hearing the co-leader say it was time to think up strategies, Yamato nodded, sat down on the ground, and pulled out his chess board and pieces once more. Upon hearing where he was to be placed, Yamato audibly gasped and looked at Inotsu. [i] You've got to be kidding, I'm being placed with him? Of all people?[/i] Yamato turned back to his chess board, gritting his teeth. He moved a black pawn forward, a white pawn, and the put the black bishop next to the pawn he had moved. [i] It can't be helped, as long as I'm under his comand, I have to follow his strategic advice, not my own.[/i] AS Inotsu named off the other members jobs, he placed each piece to their respective positions, until they were mainly focussed around the white rooks and knights, the bishop, and the king pieces. Yamato gritted his teeth all the more at Kai's cocky comments. [i] Damn the man! He'll get himself and us killed that way! No, I won't sacrifice myself for that[/i] pawn! [i] If it comes to that, I'll let them take him.[/i] To illustrate this, Yamato had a black pawn take out the white next to his bishop.

- 5 minutes later

Yamato watched Kai work with an extremely bored expression on his face. He watched as the two men on guard became relaxed and unaware, but he secretly glared at Kai. [i] Idiot, if the enemy decides now to change their post, they'll know that they're under genjutsu. It's best to kill them, not wait and see if the other towers are cleared.[/i] Wait here," Yamato told Kai, using the body flicker technique to grab two fallen branches he had seen back a ways. He returned to Kai's side with the branches and said to him, "Keep them under, I'll take care of the rest." Using the body flicker technique again, Yamato appeared hanging on to the ledge of the first tower with the stunned guards. Sending chakra to his feet, he let go of the ledge and stood vertically, making sure that his presence wasn't seen by any of the other tower guards. He reached into his pack and pulled out two kunai. Waiting only for a second, Yamato sprang up and slit both of the guards' throats, grabbed them, and replaced them with identical replicas of themselves fashioned from the two branches he picked up. Looking at the other two towers he could see quickly while holding the two dead men, he saw that no suspicion was aroused. Seeing that he was safe, Yamato flickered back to Kai with the dead bodies in hand and dropped them at their feet.
"Come on," Yamato said to Kai, hiding the detain of Kai's sloppiness from his voice. "Let's move on to the next tower."

Kai grunted at yamato. "Hmph. risk your life you fool." Kai stated as Yamato stood vertically against the tower. "What he doesn't realise is that the ANBU don't have a good recollection of this area, there are 4 watch towers, there is virtually no chance that they can't sense his use of chakra." Kai watched as he released his genjutsu and the two watch tower guard were killed. Kai stood up frustrated and grasping his fists tightly, his necklace began glowing slightly as he grinded his teeth. although the branches were imitations they didn't move and what would happen if the other tower guards tried contacting him. As Yamato reaapeared kai made no attempt to hide his toughts he continued to face the tower guards but stated quietly. "You fool, You didn't wait for the other 2 to be placed under a genjutsu! Believe it or not what iw as doing is more then a mere genjutsu, i analyzed the 4 watchtower guards relationships with eachother, they are friends which would imply!" Kai faced Yamato with a clenched fist, his gold necklace glowed slightly brighter. "That they will try to contact each other! And what of the bodies huh?! when we leave this post their mere evidence of our arrival!" Kai was severly angry, Yamato hadn't thought at all, but merely just assumed that the guards wouldn't try to talk to eachother or communicate in any way. "Grr, Hurry up and move it then!" Kai stated as he flickered to the next post near the watch tower.

[Mysterium Tremendum]

Kaemon waited in the grass silently. Even though he'd been trained to be patient, the waiting was still agonizing. He had yet to receive any signal that the guards were under the genjutsu and when for Kaemon to remove the guards. The minutes went by painfully slow, he waited in the shadows without moving an inch as a sweat drop rolled down his forehead. Inotsu's voice had all but vanished, Kaemon was left with nothing to go on but his gut instinct.

Finally, the strain became too much to bear. It had been only a second ago, but Kaemon could've sworn he saw a few of the watchtower guards disappear for a few seconds only to reappear. With no options left, Kaemon feared that the others had been caught or worse. If the others had been caught, than they must've been highly skilled ninja and the others will need his help. Kaemon quickly ran through the ox and horse handsigns and then one that was odd. His right wrist bent up and his left bent downward with his index fingers pointed up. Kaemon felt the chakra mix with his blood and immediately made cuts with his knife on each finger of his right hand. "[b]Blood Technique: Crimson Snakes[/b]" Kaemon dropped his hand to the ground and watched as the streams of blood rolled off his fingers and slowly took on the appearance of snakes. They slitthered quietly through the grass, making use of the ample amount of overgrown grass and snuck up on the 2 unsuspecting guards with little to no sound. As soon as the snakes of blood were mere inches from the right guard's feet hidden in the grass, they lunged out from their hiding spot and 2 of them slithered up the first guard's right thigh and quickly around the left arm of the 2nd one. The guard's didn't have time to manage more than a quick yelp before the snakes reached their throats and began constricting.

"Aa.....AAAaaaaahhelaaAAAA" The guards choked out before they fell to their knees as their faces turned bright purple. In a few seconds, both lay face-down on the ground, breathing no longer.

Yamato smiled under his mask. He was getting under Kai's skin. That could make this game of chess so much more fun for him and he knew it. But at the same time, he despised that Kai was lecturing him about being sloppy, when he let his emotions get in the way of the mission all the time. Total percentage of hatred towards Kai: 58%. But it wasn't as if he let it show. He hid it very well in fact. "Excuse me," Yamato said to Kai as he flashed away to the next tower. He sighed and followed after him. When he was next to Kai again, he continued. "But wasn't it you who was watching me do my dastardly deed when he [i]should[/i] have been preforming his genjutsu on the other guards so that I can take them out?" Yamato turned to Kain and smiled under his mask, knowing that was he was saying was just making him all the more angry. "Before you answer," he said quickly, "Let me explain something. Your genjutsu and mine are completely different. Yours is the average every day genjutsu anyone can preform. Mine is not. Because it isn't, I can only do it twice a day. So, since I can't use my genjutsu, it's my job to take out the guards that you put under yours. If I didn't and you got hurt, or became unconscious for some reason, we'd have eight more enemies to deal with. So please," Yamato said, tilted his head to the side, "just do your genjutsu as fast as you can and I'll take out the guards. If you can do that," Yamato turned his head to the guards in the tower that they were at, "this game will be over rather quickly."

-For the moment; Ookami's gaze shifted over to Inotsu's body. Still motionless and deadly silent? Almost a if he was dead or something. Facing himself in the frontward position his byakugan activated once more. His eye scanned through the area catching upon the first two guard that were taken out. Bitting the bottom of his lip; he could tell that this was taking a whole lot longer then first anticipated. A slight shift in the wind was all they needed to understand the full strength of an opponent? Well in Ookami's terms he could simply use his byakugan to catch into grips of what the opponent was actually doing. Everything seemed going well and that was the bad thing about it.-

[i]Something always goes wrong if something is progressing well?[/i]

-It was not just that Ookami came from the Hyuga clan and held the Byakugan kekkei genkai trait. It seemed more and more difficult the more he thought about it. This team of ANBU operatives worked extremely well together despite that at least some of the members did not really get along all to well. Something was telling the Hyuga from the bottom of his stomach that something was bound to happen. Not that they would be able to take care of it.-

-Each person had their own strengths and weaknesses that also helped in for other members of the team to help out in some sort of way. Ookami was very happy to have some of these guys with him as they helped out if the Byakugan was exposed with it's blind spot. He was even lucky enough to figure out the Main Family's Junijutsu in case something went wrong.

Kai stared angrily at Yamato, however suddenly kai grinned a big smirk and began laughing relentlessly. After a few seconds Kai turned back to normal with a furious look in his eye. His gold necklace began glowing brightly more then before, noticably his right eye started to turn black, "normal, everyday genjutsu?" Kai mocked as he stared into Yamato. "No, that's not my genjutsu, my kuramagun is way more then your eveyryday genjutsu. You really think i need ytou to take out the guards??!" Kai mocked as he faced the guards. "The reason i don't use my kuramagun is because the pain will be so intense that the guards will no doubt araise suspicion in the fortress, also." Kai glared at Yamato. "You never know who i might kill." Kai faced the towers again holding his eye and grinding his teeth as it slowly turned back to normal. "Just shut up and do your job." Kai performed a hand sign and closed his eyes he then opened them intensly and placed the other guards under genjutsu.
