[i]A fourth room? Dark uniform? [/i] Sebastian was caught in a mild form of surprice. [i]This must be new this year. I've only heard of Duel Acadamy having three dorms.[/i] Then, Sebastian unintentionally overheard a couple of Ra Yellow students.

[i]This is a good chance to find out what's going on.[/i] Sebastian approached the Ra Yellow students. "So what do you guys think is going on here?"

Proffessor Chronix was now prepared to make an announcement.

"Welcome students." His devious and sinister grin surfacing as he continue to speak. "Both firest years and 2nd and 3rds for that matter, welcome to the introduction of the first year students, you newbies might be wondering to yourselves, for one, why some of you aren't allocated to a dorm, and why some 2nd and 3rd year students are wearing black replicas of the existing 3 dorms? I'll tell you why, because as of thew end of last year the Chaos Black dorm had been created, don't fool yourselves in considering it is on par with the obelisk, ra and slifer, dorms...i assure you they fail ion comparison, the Chaos black students are hand picked by myself to hone their skills and become duel academies elite duellists. As you may have fiogured out those of you without dorm coulors have been assigned tothe Chaos dorm, consider this a privelidge, you are now duel academies elite and with that honorary duelists of industrial illusions the creatore of duel monsters. Congradulations, i will now hand you over to your chancellor." witht hat chronix turned and stepped back.

"Uh thankyou professor chhronix!" Chancelor shaphard called as he made another announcement. "I think this would be the perfect time, for a little exhibition! What do you think? To welcome the arrival of the new 2st year students, we are going to size you all up from the start, but don't despair if you don't succeed, remember you have a full year to hone your skills! So without further adue, follow me everyone to the Duel Dome!" the channcelor then walked inside the duelacademy building along with the teachers and the student reps. They led the students into a giant room with 3 dueling areas inside next to eah other, they were then surrounded by a large grandstand. The chancellor sat on a higher chair above the middle of the grandstand awaiting all the students ot walk ina nd take a seat.

"Oooh?" Lamfada grinned happily. "So we get to see the potential of our 1st years. This will be a good show. I wonder if any of my students will be dueling today." He spoke slightly-aloud but it was really aimed just for him self. He was very ecstatic about being able to see the duels of the people who is the future of their world. Lamfada ran his eyes by the other teachers, "I wonder how they are taking this?"

Chronix's speech left Alexander rather peeved. [b][i]"I swear, that guy's going to make me have a not-so-funny aneurysm moment one of these days,"[/i][/b] he thought to himself. [b][i]"Just what makes the Black Dorm any better than the others, anyway...? I have seen students in my own dorm with as much intelligence and skill in dueling as any student from the other dorms, and yet prefer to remain in Slifer Red. Placement ultimately means nothing...."[/i][/b] Professor Abernathy then sighed heavily and said to himself under his breath, "I shouldn't be pondering so heavily on such things," as he got up from his seat and followed the Chancellor to the Duel Dome, keeping his tail to himself to prevent it from getting stepped on by accident.

Once within the Duel Dome, Professor Abernathy approached Chancellor Shepard and asked, "Forgive my asking, sir, but with your permission, I would also like to participate in an exhibition match." Alexander was hoping to stretch his "dueling muscles" since he hadn't been in an actual duel since the previous school year, but more than that, he wanted to have a little excitement after sitting through the whole introduction.

Aiya listened to the proffessor's speech, the worried expression on her face increasing the more he spoke.
[i]A new dorm?[/i] She thought [i]Great, that just makes more people to look better than me.[/i]
She heaved a depressed sigh as the proffessor continued with his speech and finally finished, allowing the chancellor to speak again. Aiya glanced up when he mentioned an 'exhibition match' to start off the year and motioned for the crowd of first years to follow him to the duel arena. Aiya felt herself get pushed alone by the rest of the crowd as they made their way up the steps.
[i]Well, at least I know they won't pick me,[/i] she thought [i]They're probably pick a couple of Obelisks to show off.[/i]
The thought then struck her that the black coated proffesser had mentioned that the other dorms didn't even compare to the Chaos Black dorm and her stomach lurched slghtly, the idea that there was a dorm even above Obelisk now was not going to help her nerves.

The crowd finally reached their destination, a grand stadium arena with three duel fields marked out on the floor, surrounded by the spectator stands.
[b]"Wow,"[/b] Aiya exclaimed, forgetting her worry [b]"Never thought I'd be in a place like this."[/b]
She sat down with the rest of the Slifers and looked across at where the chancellor was sitting, now having a clearer view of him. She also noticed one of the teachers with him that, as far a she could tell, was some kind of amthromophic cat. Aiya blinked and rubbed her eyes, wondering if she was just seeing things, but the stange sight remained.
[i]Great, now I'm going crazy too,[/i]

"Haha! That explains everything!" Sebastian shouted, accidentally startling a few of the students behind him. "Eh...sorry about that." [i]But at least everything makes some sense around her.[/i] He turned back to the two Ra Yellow students. "Well, looks like there's gonna be some entertainment after all. See you guys later!" Strangely Sebastian noticed that he hadn't gotten their names. When he turned, he was in the middle of the crowd of students and so had lost sight of the Ra students. [i]Hmm, oh wells. I'm sure I'll see them sooner or later.[/i] Within moments Sebastian entered the duel dome and found a seat near the front where all the Obelisk Blue students were being seated. [i]Curious to see how this is gonna play out.[/i] Sebastian took out his Flame Barrier deck. He glanced card after card and then recalled that his deck was still from complete. [i]The last Flame Barrier duelist told me I have the potential of completing it, but how...[/i] Sebastian was lost in deep thought.

Drake sat in the back of the Slifer red section kicking his feet up onto the head of another set relaxing and waiting for the duels to begin. [I]Since they are testing the potential of the first years maybe I'll be called to woop some butt,[/I] he thought confidently. The students kept pilling in and he saw the ones without any dorm colors following Professor Chronix around like they were his lapdogs. [i]I could take any of those losers down without a problem[/i], he thought again. His arrogance was well deserved because of his dueling skills never loosing a match back home. As he looked through his Exalted Deck his monsters looked happy to be at the school. See the thing with Drake was that he could practically feel what his monsters felt; he sometimes swore he saw the two monsters that represented The Exalted Neophytes on his shoulder persuading his actions. "Weird first day," he said.

[Master of The Dark]

Mason woke in a cold sweat screeming in fear from the dream he had. "Man that was too real i need to stop eating cold soup before bed." He spoke out load to himself. "Man Caius is a scary monster when hes in the wrong hand i thought i was going to die." He thought to himself as he got dressed and waked down a coradore heading to his traps class. "Wounder what we're going to be going over to day. Not realizing that it was one in the morning. He got to the class room to find his teacher hunched of his desk snoring very loadly he tapped the teacher on the shoulder and helpped 'em back to the dorm rooms to get back to bed.
