This is a chess archetype that I created after being disappointed at the fail of Archfiends. All but one of their Support cards are traps which means they are slowish and they rely on creating paradoxes to lock down the field. Also, they have a Trap Card archetype. I love Spell and Trap archetypes.

DARK/2/Fiend/Tuner/800/800
Your opponent cannot select another Blackside monster you control as the target of a card effect. When this card is Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Blackside" monster from your hand. If this card successfully attacks directly, you can Tribute this card to Special Summon 1 "Blackside" monster from your Graveyard, except "Blackside Pawn."

Blackside Bishop
DARK/3/Fiend/1600/200
When another "Blackside" monster you control attacks, your opponent cannot activate any Spell/Trap Card or Monster Effects until the end of the Damage Step.

Blackside Knight
DARK/4/Fiend/1400/1200
When this card is Summoned, select 1 other monster you control. If that monster is destroyed (either by battle or monster effect) send the monster that destroyed it to the Graveyard. When this card battles increase this card's ATK by 700.

Blackside Rook
DARK/6/Fiend/1000/2600
Your opponent cannot select other "Blackside" monsters you control as attack targets. When a "Blackside King" you control is selected as an attack target you can Special Summon this card from your hand.

Blackside Queen
DARK/8/Fiend/Synchro/3000/2800
"Blackside Pawn" + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
Twice per turn, when this card declares an attack you can destroy 1 card on the field. During each End Phase, if you do not control a face-up "Darkside King" destroy this card.

Blackside King
DARK/4/Fiend/1900/400

Field Spell
You can Summon "Blackside" monsters in your Spell or Trap Zone. When this card is removed from the field, destroy all monsters in your Spell and Trap Card Zone. Increase the ATK and DEf of all "Blackside" monsters by 100 points for each "Blackside" monster you control. During the turn this card is sent to the Graveyard you can activate "Battle Tactic" cards from your hand.[/spoiler][spoiler=Traps]Battle Tactic - Dirty Forfeit
Normal Trap
Activate only during your opponent's Battle Phase by selecting 1 Attack Position "Blackside King" you control. Switch the selected monster to Defense Position and end your opponent's turn.

Battle Tactic - Opportunity to Strike
Continuous Trap
Attacking "Blackside" monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle and the opposing monster is sent to the Graveyard after Damage Calculation.

Battle Tactic - Piece Swap
Normal Trap
Tribute 1 "Blackside" monster. Special Summon 1 "Blackside" monster from your hand, Deck or Graveyard. When this face-down card is destroyed, you can Set 1 "Battle Tactic" card from your Deck.

Battle Tactic - Revenge Shot
Activate only when a "Blackside" monster is destroyed by battle while you control a face-up "Blackside" monster. Destroy 1 card on the field.

Battle Tactic - Spawn Camping
Counter Trap
Negate the Special Summon of a monster from the Graveyard OR the activation of a Spell Card, Trap Card, Spell Card's effect, Trap Card's effect or Effect Monster's effect that includes an effect that Special Summons a monster(s) from the Graveyard, and remove the Summoned card(s) from play.[/spoiler]
