Mars' eyes widened as he watched the mirrors crack and burn. "Those are seriously hot flames", he thought to himself as he jumped out of the mirrors, out of range of the flames. "Water Release, Exploding Water Colliding Wave", he said as he made the correct hand signs. Mars spat out a great volume of water from his mouth, ridding of the flames. Mars rode the wave, allowing him to move at high speed. "Water Release, A Thousand Feeding Sharks", he said as he made more hand signs. As he was done, he placed his hand on the water. Mars created one thousand sharks out of water, and they entered a wall formation, raining down to attack Zaraii. He then made those hand signs again, and again. There was now a wave of three thousand sharks surrounding Zaraii, coming to strike him. Mars smiled. "There's no way he's dodging this".

Kayno just got inside the Akatsuki hideout. "How strange, nobody seems to have made it yet, not even Aezlea. What could be holding up Toto and Hiraku? The Nanabi couldn't have been that much of a challenge for them." Kayno took a seat on a nearby chair. He released his transformation jutsu. "I could go see if the village needs any help on anything, but then the others would think I was held up by Shukaku when they arrive. Well, I guess it doesn't really matter." Kayno sighed. He got up from the chair and put on the Akatsuki Kasa (Bamboo Hat). He then once again performed transformation jutsu to look like a common Rain-nin. He then exited the well hidden Akatsuki hideout. He then started walking towards the heart of Amegakure.

After the two had exited the rift, it closed behind them. The Khanti Path turned back to Aezlea. "Well.... Shall we get going.... Of course you'll be leading the way.... Another thing.... I've earlier sensed the presence of two high-level chakra.... I've investigated the place with the Panna Path and Dana Path.... and those two chakra signatures were from members of the Akatsuki.... Their names are Hiraku and Toto.... You don't mind if I put their capabilities to the test.... do you....?" the Khanti Path asked calmly.

-Meanwhile-

The Panna Path landed on the ground softly with its facial expression never changing. "Is that all....?" the Panna Path asked. The Panna Path looked up and saw the dark clouds forming, still its facial expression not changing a bit. The Panna Path simply looked down. "It's no use...." the Panna Path said as a chakra disruption blade slowly descended from its sleeves. "Earth Release: Four Formed Pillars!" a voice shouted. Suddenly, four gigantic pillars arose from the ground. "Earth Release: Dropping Lid!" the same voice said again. A gigantic pig lid fell from the sky and dropped to the ground, only to be stopped by the pillars. The ink rain began to pour, only stopped from reaching the two Paths by the pig lid.

In front of the Dana Path connected to chakra strings were the two ANBU members who had been killed by Toto. "That one.... He was the one who killed us...." one of the ANBU said. "Yeah that's him alright...." the other ANBU responded. Hiraku was a bit surprised by this. "(That one.... it can even control the dead?)" Hiraku thought to himself. Just then, the Panna Path disappeared from its spot and reappeared in front of Toto, stabbing the chakra disruption blade into Toto and inserting chakra into him. "You are now under my control...." the Panna Path proclaimed.

The Panna Path's eyes then shifted to Hiraku who was about to punch it. The Panna Path removed the chakra disruption blade and jumped back before the punch could connected. The Panna Path fell back to its original spot next to the Dana Path. "Be careful Toto, if he stabs you with that thing, you'll be under his control as well as those strings, don't let them stab you either...." Hiraku explained.

Zaraii's face turned from glee to pure surprise in an instant. "Shadow Sewing", he said as he made a single hand sign. As he did, his shadow moved away from his body. As it left his original shadow, he changed the hand sign. The shadow emerged from the ground in tendrils, many of them, and they began to spin rapidly. As the tendrils spun, they hit the water sharks, eventually destroying them all. He sighed. "That was a close one", he thought out loud. "I know what you're thinking", he said as he looked at Mars. "How can I use a technique strictly used by the Nara clan. The answer is simple really". He smiled. "You'd be surprised who joins the Twelve Ninja Guardians. Yes, a member of the Nara clan joined and was kind enough to train me in his techniques, for they aren't bloodline limits, just rare jutsu", he said with a grin.

Mars' jaw hung open. He had never seen the shadow manipulation technique used as a means of defense. It was truly a rare scene. He smiled. "I'm glad that such a skilled ninja is on my side", he said as his grin widened. "I think we should head out to find those Jashin guys, now that we've trained with one another", he said as he put his right arm in the air and gave a thumbs up. Zaraii nodded and they both headed off to find the enemy. After a bit of traveling, they came across the group. It was obviously them, for they were preparing a ceremony of some kind. They seemed to be located near the Hidden Rain Village. Mars and Zaraii landed near the group, making sure to stay hidden in the bushes. Right now would definitely be a good time for Zaraii to use his Shadow Imitation Technique. Mars studied the group of Jashinists and raised an eyebrow. "Kind of a weird bunch", he thought to himself. Suddenly, one of the members looked over at the bushes. It was obvious they knew that the boys were there. The man smiled. "Come. Let me tell you of the Jashin religion", he said with a big grin. They didn't move, but were listening. "Cozy? Alright then. The principal difference between Jashin and many religions is our refusal to believe in a purely omnipotent patron deity. We believe that this is impossible, as if it were ever the case, the omnipotent deity would set everything exactly as He/She/It would want it, and there would be no conflicting beliefs, religions, or anything offensive to said deity. Some may make a case for the deity's desire for humans to have "free will", but this is simply wishful thinking, as one's will is always submitted to whatever they believe in, whether this is Christianity, Taoism, or Atheism. We acknowledge this, and submit our will to a force that is powerful enough to be nearly omnipotent from our perspective, and will only grow in strength as the Jashin faith grows. We believe in a deity known as Jashin, but do not acknowledge that He has a specific form or gender. The terms 'Lord', 'He', and even 'deity' exist purely for semantic and metaphorical purposes, and a Jashinist will usually think of Lord Jashin as more of a binding force, or even a philosophical mindset". Mars was intrigued by this, but seen that Zaraii was ready to fight. "Alright...you...weirdos, prepare to die in the name of the Hokage!" he yelled as he stood up from the bushes. The man laughed. "We are the religion of peace, and we will kill you to prove it", he said with a grin. They wore white robes with light bloodstains on them and there were holes embroidered where there heart was. Everyone of the members, which was five in total, smiled. "We are the religion of peace, and we will kill you to prove it".

Zaraii was tired of the long explanation and was appalled that the smug man in front of him thought that he would be defeated so easily. "Shadow Imitation Technique", he said as he made a hand sign. His shadow moved and soon moved to all five of the mens shadows. The Jashin man who gave the speech blinked a few times as he realized he couldn't move. "That was way too easy", Zaraii said as he sighed. "Shadow Neck Bind Technique", he said as he changed his hand sign. A hand which was made of his shadow crept up the mens body to their neck. Once the hand reached their necks, it constricted in such a manner so as to strangle them. Four of them hit the ground, but the one who had the long winded speech stayed standing. Zaraii released his technique and stared at the man still standing, astonished. "It seems my brothers did not take the ultimate pledge to Lord Jashin, unlike me", he said with a grin. "I am immortal", he said with a laugh. "And your bodies will prove acceptable for Lord Jashin", he said as he pulled a long spear from out of his robe.

Aezlea walked out of the rift with the Khanti Path turned back to Khanti Path "I guess we should get going" he started to move but stopped as the Khanti Path turned back and said something to him "Testing Hiraku and Toto that should be an interesting fight and they are fighting the Panna Path and Dana Path.....interesresting test them as you will" he begins walking again. "Their is also another member by the name of Imi I sense she has great pontional I would like you to test her I sense she is somewhere in this forest"

"I guess I should take a rest.....maybe get something else to eat" Imi stops after eating her final fish "Too bad their is not another river nearby".

All Mars could do was stare for a bit. He shook his head and looked at the man. "We will defeat you!" he yelled as he began making hand signs. "Water Release, Exploding Water Colliding Wave", he said as he was done. Mars shot a great volume of water out of his mouth in which created a wave. "Wind Release, Spiraling Wind Ball", he said as he made some hand signs. Mars blew wind-infused chakra into the palm of his hand, shaping it into a small, whirlwind-like ball. He then shot it at the man while still on the wave. "Demonic Ice Crystal Mirrors", he said as he made even more hand seals. As he did, a large number of mirrors appeared on the waves, and Mars jumped onto one. He was using the mirror like a surfboard and was smiling the entire time.

Infinity smiled as his students took their seats at the Twelve Guardian Ninja Temple. "Who can tell me the definition of jutsu?" he asked with a big grin. None of the students raised their hands. "Fair enough", he said with a laugh. "Jutsu, skills, or techniques, are the mystical arts a ninja will utilize in battle. To use a jutsu, the ninja will need to use his chakra. Chakra comes from two places. The body energy inherent in your trillions of cells and the mental & spiritual energy gained from exercise and experience. To perform a jutsu, the ninja will bring out and release these two energies. By forming handseals, the ninja is able manifest the desired jutsu. Because of the extensive number of hand seals and different combinations, there are thousands of potential jutsu to be discovered. Based on which jutsu the ninja uses, the type and amount of chakra will be different as would the elements you would be to employ. The five main elemental styles are also the five names for the Five Great Shinobi Countries, Fire, Wind, Lightning, Earth and Water. Each ninja has the potential to better utilize one of these styles and potentially more. A special elemental detecting paper is used to determine ones type. The paper comes from trees which are specially grown with chakra. When the ninja imbues the paper with a portion of their chakra, the paper will alter to reveal one's type. The paper will rip in two for Wind, burn for Fire, become wet for Water, fall apart for Earth and crumple for Lightning". He smiled again after he finished explaining. "I wonder where Zaraii is".

Zaraii's eyes widened as he looked over at Mars surfing on the ice mirror. "That looks pretty fun!" he yelled as he jumped on one of the mirrors as well. The Jashin just looked at them as the giant wave started to bend and come down on him. Zaraii took out a kunai with an explosive tag on it and threw it at the Jashin, and then pulled out some shuriken. "I sure hope this works", he said as he threw the shuriken behind the kunai. Unknowingly to the Jashin, he had also thrown a windmill shuriken behind them. He frowned as he thought about what he would do next.

Mars watched his ball of Wind smash into the Jashin and jumped into the air as the wave came down on top of the Jashin as well. He watched the explosive tag kunai stab into him and explode, along with the two normal and one windmill shuriken hit him as well. Mars almost didn't believe that worked. As the water died down into a small lake, the smoke from the explosive tag went around the field. As it faded, the Jashin was still standing in the same spot, blood pouring from his chest. His robe had been torn and there was a large slash down his chest. As the smoke cleared completely, you could see the windmill shuriken stuck inside of the Jashin's head. Mars' mouth hung open. Nobody should have survived that. Mars shivered a bit. As he was frozen with fear, the Jashin attacked. He flew at Mars with his spear and took a slash at him. Mars backed away, but not quick enough. The spear made a semi-deep cut on his cheek. The Jashin jumped back and smiled. He then laughed and licked the blood off of the spear. As he did, his skin began to change color. It turned black and it now had an outline of what looked to be a skeleton all around his body that was white. He slashed his arm and drew a circle on the ground with the blood, then stepped inside of it. He aimed his spear for his heart. "Easy", the Jashin said as he began to shove the spear.

Infinity moved quickly through the forest and made it in time to push the Jashin out of the circle before he stabbed himself. As soon as he seen that the Jashin was out of the circle, he threw him onto the ground, hard. "Sensei, where did you come from!", Zaraii yelled as he seen Infinity. "You were taking too long to get back to the Temple, so I decided to see what was going on. Now I know why you were taking so long", he said as he looked at the Jashin. "More bodies for Lord Jashin!" the man yelled. Infinity smiled at the Jashin. "You won't last long", Infinity said as he disappeared suddenly. He then reappeared behind him and grabbed his shoulders. He spun the Jashin around and smashed him into the ground once again. "Let's end this quickly!" Infinity yelled as he put his hand into the air. "Rasengan!" he yelled. Suddenly, a spiral of blue chakra appeared in his hand. "I think we'll leave nothing left", he said with a big grin. "Fire Release, Rasengan!" he yelled. Suddenly, the originally blue chakra ball became red and flames flowed from off of it. He then smashed it into the Jashin, causing a large explosion of fire. Zaraii and Mars jumped back to dodge the flame blast. It soon vanished, and where it was now stood Infinity. Next to him were a pile of ashes. He smiled. "Let's get back to the Temple".

"Very well.... I shall test the capabilities of this Imi girl as you requested.... I shall use this Path to test her.... You'll instead travel with the Upekkha Path...." the Khanti Path proclaimed. The Khanti Path turned around and opened up a dimensional rift. The Upekkha Path then exited from the rift. "You and I will travel to the hideout while my Khanti Path will go and test her worth to the Akatsuki, but considering the fact that you recommend me testing her, she must have potential...." the Upekkha Path stated. The Khanti Path stepped through the dimesional rift and it closed as the Khanti Path disappeared from sight. "Well now, let us depart...." the Upekkha Path said as he began moving along the tree line.

-Meanwhile-

A dimensional rift opened up ten feet away from where Imi was. The Khanti Path stepped through the dimensional rift with the familiar smirk on his face. The Khanti Path was a rather unique Path when it comes to the way it looked during combat. Its movements were sleek and effortless, like a phantom. The Khanti Path levitated into the air as the dimesional rift closed behind it. "You must be Imi, correct....?" the Khanti Path asked calmly.

Kayno made it to the village's center, where the village's leader resided. With his transformation jutsu, Kayno took the form of a ninja he had transformed to many times before. In this form, Kayno was very respected by the Rain villagers and their leader. He took the name Nagako Uhian. Kayno entered the Rain-leader's chamber, and saw him doing his regular routine of completing paperwork. The Rain-leader acknowledged Kayno's presence. "Nagako! What do you need," he said. "Honestly sir, I was just bored and wondered if there are any missions that need doing," Kayno replied. "Well there is word of the Akatsuki reemerging in Amegakure, but that is too much for just one shinobi and I don't want to risk the life of one of our best shinobi. Maybe you could just inspect the village and go to the borders to see if any Akatsuki are coming in?" The Rain-leader asked. "Yes sir," Kayno sighed. He obviously didn't get an exciting mission, especially since it was against his teammates. "I'll inspect the village, but first I have to extract Shukaku." Kayno took out his Bijuu scroll and looked at it. "Sorry Ichibi." Kayno went outside of Amegakure. He summoned Kai once again. "Kai, to the extraction cave." Kayno released his transformation jutsu and hopped on Kai. Kai ascended to cloud level, and took off to the River Country.

"This should be interesting...Imi should have just finished her training....lets see what these paths are able to do" Aezlea smile then looks at the Upekkha Path as it walked out of the rifts and the Khanti Path as it walked in. "Well thats fine i guess we should get going then...we should arrive at the entrance in about 30 minuets or so".

Imi stood as the Sage's Magatama begin to glow again "What is going on with this thing....it hasnt reacted like this since the first time i got it". She looked up as the Sage's Magatama stopped glowing to see a strange figure floating above head she jumps back. Imi looked at the strange figure "It seems like this is what it was reacting too...it has the same chakra as the others that i felt" she look confused when it knew her name "Yes I am Imi who are you..?"

Kayno had finally reached the River Country. He looked downat the water and saw some ruins of the old extraction site. "It's a good thing that Akatsuki rebuilt this place." Kai dropped him off at the repaired extraction site not far from the the few ruins of the old one. Kayno went inside and walked up to where the King of Hell statue is usually summoned. He released the seal of Shukaku and suddenly, out of his scroll, Shukaku appeared. He was still unable to move his left arm and was still fatigued and hurt from the battle with Kayno. "He's making it too easy." Kayno summoned the King of Hell statue which was almost always used on jinchuuruki, no just bijuu. Then he performed some hand signs and sealed Shukaku into the King of Hell statue. He then went back outside the cave and saw Kai flying above to see if any unwanted visitors were coming. Kayno called Kai. Kai came to Kayno and Kayno jumped on his back. "Alright, back to Ame," he said. Kai ascended again and flew straight back the way they came.

Ruki was walking through the woods headed back to the Village Hidden in the Leafs. It had been a few years since she left the village to go hut down the Akatsuki. She had traveled through all the different lands studying the shinobi in each village. She watched and observed their strengths and weaknesses and commited them to memory. The only way someone could really tell Ruki was really a Jinchuriki was by the strange thin yellow disks around her eyes. But then again Ruki was a great lier and a nateral born actress so it may not be so easy. As she walked Ruki noticed the training grounds. Ruki stopped and looked at the one nearest her. She smiled at the memories of the times she had spent training there and shrugged, 'Why not? It won't hurt anything.' She adjusted her headband and walked over to the site. She might as well get a little training in since nothing was happening and she had reached the village. Later she would go into the village.

Toto's eyes were wide with shock. He looked down at his chest and saw his warm blood mixing with the cold ink rain that was pelting his body. He reached up and touched his injury, making it sting profusely. "What's this...? Blood...? My Blood...?" Toto began to giggle to himself. His giggles turned into chuckles, and his chuckles turned into wild fits of laughter. He laughed so hard that it rocked his body out of his akatusuki robe, making it fall down to his sides and exposing his full torso. In his laughter, he leaned backwards, making blood spurt from his wound. "Incredible!" he shouted in between his fits of laughter. "To think I've sustained such a horrid injury, and it was so easily accomplished! The thought of it all... the chaos it could unleash!" Toto threw his body forward violently, causing him to take a step forward.Toto's skin began to pale, changing from it's normal color to a dull and ashen gray. Toto lifted his head up slowly. He looked the ways of the two adversaries before him and gave them a wicked grin, his chuckling returning. "This pain," he said, tilting his head to the right. "This awful pain..." Toto violently tilted his head to the left, as he did the flesh on his forehead began to split. "I love it!"

As Toto shouted these words, a violent and destructive burst of chakra exploded from Toto, momentarily repelling even the rain. The chakra was so strong that it was visible, a dull maroon color it showed. Toto straightened up his body and looked at his now four adversaries. He smiled viciously and made a single hand sign. Out of the rain droplets on the two dead anubu and the earth columns that were shielding his main adversaries from the rain came paper bombs, dozens of them covering the two anbu and hundreds covering the columns. Toto made another hand sign and they all simultaneously exploded, utterly destroying both the dead puppets and his enemy's main defense from him. Toto laughed up at the sky and raised both of his hands above his head. Spreading all ten of his fingers wide, it suddenly began to rain fire down upon them all. Toto, laughing as he did so, waved his arms to the right and left of himself, setting the trees in those directions on fire. He waved his arms in all directions, setting fire to every tree within a hundred yards of them.
"Come out and face me!" Toto shouted. "There is no hiding from my ink rain, I will find you! Come! Face Lucifer in his Inferno!"

It was dark and cold in the big room that rested in the center of the secret Akatsuki base. He was the only one there, sitting alone in the dark in one of several chairs; as if waiting for people to return. The rest of the chairs were for other members or guests of said members. It was silent for all but one sound, and the sound seemed to be rising and falling as if changing its pitch every few seconds. In and out, and in and out; it was his breath, the only sound that he'd hear when he was alone and the only sound he ever made that was constant. In...and out...

"I might as well check the base again before inspecting the village. It doesn't need inspection anyway..." As Kai got closer to Amegakure, Kayno decided to get a head start on his transformation and used transformation jutsu to turn back into Nagako Uhian. Once Kai dropped him off, he headed towards the Akatsuki's very well hidden base. He made sure no one was nearby before he went inside. As he went inside the dark base, he though he saw a figure in the darkness. It was not moving, and seemed to have been sitting. Not only that, but he could hear the figure's breathing, which was quite loud in the empty and quiet base of the Akatsuki. "Well at least someone is back," Kayno said to the figure. He went closer and saw that it was the man that should be his partner, though they both usually carry out their missions solo. The most mysterious man to Kayno in the entire group, Hisan Jintouri. "Hisan, what are you doing just sitting around? Don't you get bored?" Kayno, not waiting for an answer, also added, "Once Aezlea gets back it's likely we might have to go together to get the Yonbi, the Demon Ape."

Ruki eyed the posts and stayed focused and calm. Then she lept up into the air and performed the hand signs, "Fire style. Pheonix Blaze." The stream of fire shot up into the air and formed a large pheonix right above Ruki. The pheonix spred it's wings and screeched before diving at a post. When the pheonix created by the jutsu struck the post the post went up in flames. Ruki allowed the jutsu to fade before performing anouther jutsu she had been wanting to try out. This one was an earth style. "Earth style. Leaf blade jutsu." Chakra began gathering in Ruki's right palm becoming visiable. A mini whirlwind of leafs and wind picked up and swirled around Ruki though most were gathering around her hand. The leafs begand to stick together untill they formed a sword. The sword was streamline, sharp and looked heavy but was light as a leaf. Then she lept at the two remaining posts one at a time. She sliced at both of them and then landed in a kneeling postistion on the other side. Ruki stood up and looked at the results. She smiled satisfied when she found the two posts cut neatly in half. "Guess I'm starting to get the hang of my mother's jutsus after all."

"Patience...has never struck me as boring activity." Hisan said , taking a breath between his sentence as if actually having to. "I sit here because there's no other task that I was assigned...we do what we have to and shouldn't strive to raise the bar." Hisan explained and then wanted to make a comment about the teaming up, but decided that he really didn't care. "You'll be doing the fighting I assume..." Hisan said, not finding the strength to continue his sentence but letting Kayno believe that he was just being rude and presumptuous.

Kayno looked at Hisan and smiled, "Actually, I've already had a battle recently. Besides, you haven't had a good fight in a while have you? So I think you should take this one. It might give you something entertaining to do." Kayno looked at the door to the hideout. "The rain villagers are suspecting that we have reemerged here in Ame. I have to say they are quite smart," Kayno looked back at Hisan, "Have you heard from either Hikaru or Toto lately? They are taking much more time to defeat the Nanabi than I expected."

Hisan didn't, or couldn't, say anything for a few moments. "We want to capture the Yonbi, not kill it right?" Hisan said, then took a deep breath. "I believe your..."abilities" are more suited for that aspect." Hisan said and then took another breath. "All of the Jinchuuriki are fearsomely strong opponents...Hikaru and Toto are capable of completing this task...their Akatsuki members after all." Hisan said and then took one more deep breath.

Suddenly feeling tired Ruki let the jutsu die and the sword disappeared. 'Good. It's improvingbut they still tire me out. I've got to get these down before the Akatsuki show their faces again. I don't have a way of knowing when they'll attack or who they'll send. This means I'll have to be completely and utterly prepared for anything.' Ruki looked back at the remains of theposts. 'But that'll have to do for now.', she thought. She turned around and headed back towards the village gate on the main path. As she crossed into the village and walked through the streets she looked around. 'Nothing's really changed since I left.', she thought pleased. OF course this was botha good and a bad thing. It was good because that ment that nothing bad had happened to the village or it's inhabitents since her leaving. It was bad because that ment that there were no, at least visiable, signs of improvement.

 • 2 weeks later...
<RP REVIVAL!?>

Hisan stood up, and it almost looked like he was about to fall right back in his seat. "I grow weary of your words and conversational methods." Hisan then began walking past Kayno and to the outside of the base where it was surround by a field of chakra that wouldn't allow others to see the entrance to the base nor Hisan himself. The barrier was good enough to allow their chakra to not be sensed either so it was indeed an asset the Akatsuki couldn't afford not to have. Hisan looked up into the sky and sighed. "I must find someone...someone worthy...of my power..." Hisan said and then closed his eyes though it couldn't be seen because of his hood.
