Howdy, people. Here's the situation. I'm bored - and if you're reading this, you're probably bored also. So, let's have a fun little 1-on-1 contest, shall we?

PRIZE

CONDITIONS

- Challenger gets to name the conditions (if I don't like them, I have the right to decline)

- After challenger is declared and conditions are established, the challenger's card is to be posted in their first post (so I can get the IMG tag and post it in this post)

VICTORY

- First person to get 5 votes wins OR most votes after 3 days (whichever comes first)

DISCLAIMERS

- You MUST vote in the poll AND post in the thread explaining your reason - or your vote won't count

- Voting only on the basis of OCG or Image will result in your vote not counting

CONTEST STANDARDS

- Make an Effect Monster support card for what the contestand believes is an underdeveloped archetype

SATURN'S CARD

ARCHETYPE - CYBER GIRLS

25476.jpg

If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, this card can be Normal Summoned without Tributing. When this card is Normal Summoned, remove from play 1 Level 6 or lower Warrior-Type monster in your Graveyard and increase the ATK and DEF of this card by the original ATK of the removed monster. When a Warrior-Type monster you control battles with an opponent's monster, Trap Cards cannot be activated until the end of the Damage Step.

CLAIR'S CARD

ARCHETYPE - COUNTER FAIRIES

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned in face-up Attack Position when 1 of your Counter Trap Cards has been activated and has resolved. Once per turn, you can decrease the ATK of this card by 700 to add 1 Counter Trap Card from your Graveyard to your hand.

And, my vote goes to Saturn.

His card was more Useful, IMO.

It seems more balanced than Clair's, due to her's easy summoning.

Its ATK and DEF match perfectly with its effect. Clair's...not that anything is wrong...but...meh.

The pics are both good, although Clair's seems a little squished. Saturns <3

So..yea. Kthxbai.

Saturn: While your card is overall more balanced, it's really only LOLATK. Mind you, it is great support and allows for Graveyard control. But I can't see using it for anything more than a beatstick.

Clair: ABUSE ABUSE ABUSE. You did this on purpose didn't you? D: < What I'm saying is, the card is extremely good support for a fairly small archetype / decktype. It allows for recycling, which is big in Counter Fairies, and isn't just a beatstick. And even at 1900, with that kind of support, it's still a big threat.

I think I'm going to give this one to Clair. It's fairly more playable for the decktype it supports. Don't get me wrong, so is Saturn's card, but Clair's has bigger field presence. Perhaps if Saturn's card was a Tuner it could be abused more, but it's fairly slow compared to Clair's.

I vote for Clairs card, it is easy slightly to easy to summon but combined with Synthetic Seraphim and Bountiful artemis can give u a pretty decent advantage. If seraphim tokens can be tributed then it can give u a massive advantage.

I don't see how Saturn paladins supports the Archetype though, it seems more like a Helios deck card with removing from play stuff etc. maybe even ancient gear due to the fact that no Trap cards can be activated during the battle phase.

Thanks for voting.

The thing about the Cyber Girls is that they're not very strong stat-wise. Their main focus was attacking directly and destroying cards. Mine was meant to be a beatstick for them and also workable in a Warrior Toolbox deck. The name was also fitting - since the monsters are based off dancing terms (which Piroette is).
