[spoiler='Season 1'][spoiler='Episode 1']As I walked into the arena, someone charged into my side, and I fell over. “Oww… watch where you’re-” I looked up. “Jay?” I said. I looked into the face of my good friend, Jaden Yuki. “Ryu! It’s you! Guess you’re late, too, eh?” I stared at him blankly, and with a Mrs. Garrett from “[i]The Facts of Life[/i]” (Whatever that is) voice, I yelled, “WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!” “Uhh… yeah. It’s like, 9 o’clock.” “I am SO going to kill Janet!” A man in a blue uniform came up to me. “You must be the last entry.” “Uh… yeah.” I said. “Duel!” We yelled. Our life point counters counted up to 8000. “I’ll go first. Draw!” I said. Hmm… I’ll play Necrovalley!” The roar of the crowd melted away as the walls became stone cold rock. “Heh…” I said. “Now, I summon Gravekeeper’s Descendant (1500/1200), in attack position! And with Necrovalley’s boost… It’s stronger!” A human figure that looked like an obelisk had became human appeared. (2000/1700) “Next I’ll activate Temple of the Kings!” A huge temple appeared. A golden sarcophagus appeared behind me. “Next I’ll set [i]and[/i] activate Metal Reflect Slime!” A giant blob of slime with spikes on it appeared in front of me. “Then I activate double summon! And I’ll get rid of my slime to summon my fav card: MYSTICAL BEAST SERKET!” I exclaimed. A giant scorpion rose out of the ground. The proctor gasped. “Good work… Wait: are you Ryu Ishtar? Son of Marik Ishtar?!” “Umm… Duh.” “Oh my!” “End turn.” “Umm…” He stuttered. “D-draw… I-I think I’ll summon Plaguespreader Zombie (400/200)… in attack position…” He said. A weird zombie appeared. “And I’ll activate Double Summon. Now I summon Pyramid Turtle (1200/1400) in defense mode. End turn.” I stared at him, slightly gloating. “Draw,” I said. I grinned. “I sacrifice your two monsters to summon my pal, Lava Golem (3000/2500) in attack mode! But… I activate Nightmare Wheel! And now… I end my turn!” I said. “Dra- OWWW!!” (R. 8000/ P. 6500) “Draw… I summon Fallen Angel- Kristaiya (1900/0) in attack position! And I’ll attack Gravekeeper’s Descendant!” The zombie-like angel attacked the Gravekeeper’s Descendant, and it was immediately pierced by the spear Descendant carried. “R. 8000/ P. 6400.) “Ha!” I laughed. “What was the point in that?!” I yelled. “Now…” The proctor said. “I can summon ANOTHER Fallen Angel, in attack mode! And I choose Fallen Angel- Dorado (2400/2500)! Dorado, attack his Descendant!” Dorado attacked, but it also was pierced. “Whaaaaaaaaaaat?!” He yelled. “It’s the effect of my Gravekeeper’s Taw Shot! I can discard one card to destroy your monster!” I yelled. The angel fell to the ground, and disintegrated into pixels. He sighed. “End turn…” “Draw!” I exclaimed. The proctor yelled again. (R. 8000/ P. 4900) I said. The proctor grinned suddenly. “Now Dorado can return to the field!” The angel came back to the field. “Ha. Like that scares me. Serket, attack!” The scorpion grabbed the angel and threw it into its mouth, devouring it. “ “Good boy,” I said. Serket’s attack rose. (3000/2500) “Now, it can give me a zombie token.” A zombie (0/0) appeared. (R. 8000/P. 2400) “Now I activate Blow of the Scorpion! Now, Serket, attack again, but this time… destroy the Token!” Serket devoured the token. “And… guess what? It can attack again!” (3500/2500) The monster devoured Lava Golem. (R. 8000/P. 1900) (4000/2500) “Now, Descendant, attack! Finish ‘em off! Gravekeeper’s Spear Strike!” The spear was thrown through the proctor’s chest. (R. 8000/P. 0) “Good work.” The proctor said. “You should be in Blue, but first-years that haven’t gone to a prep school can’t. So you’ll be in yellow!” He said. I as handed a yellow jacket and joined the other yellows. On my way there, I bumped into someone. She looked familiar. I stared at her. “Hey, little sis!” I said. She hugged me. “Ryu!” “So I guess you made Yellow, too?” “Yep.” “Nice.” “Wanna have a little duel, ya know, to see who’s better?” “You’re on!”
