Kiran turned to the new stranger and nodded. He didn't feel like talking anymore, after the huge disappointment his opponent had been. As he was led to a building in town, he turned to the man - or, rather, what was left of him - and scoffed. He had taken the man down in minutes and there wasn't a scratch on him. He had hoped fighting with an actual, living person would be more challenging, and more enjoyable than it had been. When the man had led him to the new location, Griffintown - a funny enough name, considering the times - Kiran finally turned to speak. "I hope you will entertain me more than that worthless slab of flesh I left back there. What kind of job do you have in mind for me?"

"Well you wouldn't find much enjoyment outta cuttin' me up sir," the man said as two glasses filled to the brim with the pubs best stuff slide to them. Taking a swig of the strong liquid he slapped the glass back down and gritted his teeth as it burned his throat. Kiran had learned this man was the major of the town, if a town this small actually needed one, and had been having quite a lot of trouble for some time now. Rumor had it that if things didn't change the man was libal to be lynched soon, which is why he had come to Kiran in the first place . . . to save his own hide. Pushing the glass back to the barktender the major looked over at Kiran, a solmn worn down expression on his face, "My little town here has been having a string of bad luck for a while you see. We can handle quite a few of the monsters that come in now and then, heck we even killed a vampire or two over the past year. But our new problem isn't human nor supernatural creature. Its a witch . . ."

"She wanders into town every so often in the disguise a blind lady and always has someone with her," he continued as the ale came back to him. Downing it quickly he finished, "So far everybody we've sent to remove her has been killed by her 'familiars' and we want to know if you can finally rid us of her for good."

Kiran looked the major dead in the eye. He didn't look away or even blink for even a second. This went on in silence for a good 10 seconds. The silence was broken by Kiran himself as he burst out laughing. He began to get maniacal as he spoke through the insane laughter. "Are you s***ting me? A witch? That's a creature I have never faced before and I have been dying to try!"

He turned to leave, but turned back to the major and, in a much more serious tone than he had just been speaking in a moment ago, said "My fee is 200 drachma. I may be excited to fight this witch, but I still need to eat. And since I don't plan to stay here longer than I need to, as I am sure if I am successful you will be no less than hospitable to me in thanks, I will need to pay for it all. That is my fee. No less."

"Absolutely," the mayor said after regaining his composure and waved goodbye to Kiran as he left. When the silence returned he could feel his commrades' eyes burning a hole into the back of his head. Setting up the house with drinks he turned to them with an eyebrow raised and already knew what they were thinking, he was just waiting for someone to voice it. Finally the youngest of the group, an honest man who had just recently moved into town about a half a year ago, "But sir . . . that ammount of money will break this town if we handed it over to him. How could you accept such an outrageous bill even if it is to kill the witch? What is the point of getting rid of the witch if we're going to ruin the town at the same time?!"

"That is correct Abel," the mayor said with a sly grin and patted him on the back, the strong smell of the drinks on his breath, "That is if we hand over the entire ammount."

"Bu-"

"No buts about it! That fool thinks we actually can scroung up that kind of money?" the mayor slammed his fist onto the table and looked out the open door, "He'll accept whatever we give him or he wont get paid at all."

.......She and her two men had managed to get everything underway. There was some unrest from the other men due to a great deal of jealousy, sadly for them though they couldn't act due to very specific orders. She walked into the clearing near her camp with her two men at her side. She aloud her long golden hair to change into the glorious wings that aloud her to look like an angel. She began to rise in the air and as her feet became level with Max's and Kevin's heads they grabbed on. In an instant they to began to rise. With this She turned left and picked up speed into the direction of the "Shores of the Fallen".....

......They got to the shores with no trouble and waited 1 hour. During this hour Siniles song with out much enthusiasm. After it was over she and her two men set off to find a ship. It was hours before they did and when they found it it as just what Siniles was looking for. I would say there was a battle but there wasn't. The mission was a complete success. Hours later, the ship was next to to the camp and the men of the ship were unloading their cargo.

As Kiran headed to the local inn to rest, he scoffed. Of course he hadn't expected them to pay, at least not in full. The town was much too small to have that kind of money. But if they paid even half the amount he requested, he could eat well for a while. He hadn't lied in that respect, he did have to eat and pay for it. He slept there the night and woke up, ready to take on anything. "Now, to find this witch..."

Kiran stood and thought a while after saying this to himself. It was only after about a minute of thinking that he realized he had nothing to go on about this witch. The mayor had said something about sending others to fight the witch, so he decided to go see him to see if he could help him locate it. He stepped into the office, saying, "I hope I'm not intruding, but you neglected to tell me where the witch lived."

His voice sounded polite, yet at the same time stern. It was obvious that the politeness that left his mouth was complete and utter bull. He was pissed that they had left out such an important detail for the savior of their collective lives. When he got the mayor's attention, he said, gruffly - no longer hiding behind the shroud of politeness as the mayor had already seen his true self and he had no reason to hide it from anyone, "If you would."

"Ah yes you did leave before I was able to tell you her location or find you myself," the mayor said matter of factly, as if he wasn't frightened in the least bit by the swordsman that was looming over him. It would be simple to tell him where the witch lived though if he just simply left there was a chance he'd never kill the witch and instead cower out of the assignement; he had it happen before with brave looking men. Scratching the back of his head the mayor lied through his teeth, explaining that they had no idea where the witch lived and that he would have to remain in the village until she returned, "Ah but you wont have to worry about staying long since she is coming soon. Every begining of the month or so she makes the mysterious trek from where ever she lives all the way to our town. So if you don't mind waiting about two to three days she will come to you and you can deal with her as you please . . ."

"Fine. I suppose if I want to kill a witch, I really have no choice. I will be resting in the inn until she appears. I assume, with the ruckus you people are making about her, that the attack will alert me no matter what happens." He turned to leave and headed to the inn. As he entered, he all but shouted at the innkeeper about getting him a room. Once alone, he began to talk to himself about the impending mission. "This could be the strongest enemy I've ever faced. The danger is immense, and I could likely die. That shouldn't matter, because I really have nothing to live for anymore, but I still fear the loss of my own life. Any sensible human would. Death is a factor we all must go through over the course of life. But it’s also a factor we never want to face. My life is less significant than most, but I still feel the need to defend it just the same…” He paused, and then headed toward the bed in the center of the room he had been led to.

“I shouldn’t worry about this now. I need my sleep.” His head hit the pillow and he was fast asleep in seconds.

ooc:thank god im on a real compter for once and im gonna time skip to them almost at the town.

IC:the trip to the safe haven port had been to lightly put it uneventfull. each day joey would recover more and evangline would be taught something new by alyssa and each night joey and dante spent together while aylssa tried to convince evangline that they wernt what their looks gave off. They were on the tenth day of the trip when joey had finaly regained most of his power back and at a good time too. they were now approching the port and soon they would be off to the empire of the vampires.

"so tell me alyssa how long have you been a vampire?" joey asked curious. joey had know alyssa and dante since he was 12(even if he looked 18 at the time) and it had been almost 10 years since dante took him under his wing.
OOC:btw dante is extremly smart i hope you know along with being musclar, tall, and handsome.

The week traveling and spending time with Evangeline had grown a sisterly bond between the two. Now able to accept that she was a vampire, or more correctly remember that curcial fact, most of her memories were still locked up inside her head with no apparent ways to bring them back; she didn't even remember where or when she became a member of the living dead. Yet, even without those memories, Alyssa continued to teach her the ways of the vampire and all of the rules that went with them. Even though Evangeline did not enjoy the idea of drinking human blood she was told constantly that vampires never killed their victims and only feed off of healthy people whom could spare the small quantities they needed to continue; a major rule Alyssa pointed out was that vampires never binge drank, for obvious reasons. Aside from the lessions on vampire rules Alyssa was also teaching her how to fight with anything she could and was quite suprised at how fast she caught onto certain things.

Now close to the port, about half a days walk away, the group was getting a mixture of restless and excited. For some of them this was a place to return too . . . while others this was a place to be safe in. Walking within the tree lines Joey had made a remark to Alyssa about her actual age. Looking at him she scowled and said in quite a menacing tone, "Young men should always remember it's improper to ask a lady her age, even if she is a vampire . . ."

"Well at least that wont matter once we get into the town," Evangeline said, having long since given up ordering Joey to carry her as he refused each and every single time, but the nerviousness of going into a village after the last time still haunted her. The moon hung low that night as the village finally came into sight . . .
It had been an entire week since Kiran began waiting for the witch, which was begining to make the towns people worry. With each passing day there was less and less of a chance that they could convince him to leave with the ammount of money they were going to give him, less than half of what he offered. Most of the people wondered if the witch had died without any of them knowing, whilst more still thought she was toying with them and merely waiting for the mercenary to leave before decending upon their hapless village . . .

Joey looked up at the full moon and shivered. he felt like something was wrong but he kept it to himself. he looked at the town as they stoped for a moment and knew there was something wrong. your being parinoid joey just calm down nothing will happen joey thought as dante wraped his arms around joey and held him close. "dont worry joey tonight we will be sleeping in a nice warm inn and will be safe for the first time in awhile." dante said knowing what joey was thinking. "if you keep over thinking things your bound to think like that so be calm." he said as they began to head towords town full of hope.

The walk into the town was unlike anything they had ever thought of in their wildest dreams. Before they even came close to the town they could hear and spot some of the people coming in and out freely. It was odd to see supernatural creatures and humans comingling together without ending up trying to kill each other. There were minotaurs helping humans lift large bales of hay for cows to graze on and a barber trimming the hair of a werwolf as he sat in a chair outside of the shop. What made Evenelinge's heart jump more than anything was seeing children, seemingly her age, playing with each other even though they were two completely different species; a vampire, human and a ogre. Gapping and pointing at everything Alyssa laughed internally while Evangeline was offered to play ball with them, though the 'young' vampire had to decline, yet she could hardly notice anything wrong, "Feels just like home . . ."

While the group walked through the semicrowded streets, bumping into humans and supernatural creatures alike, neither had picked up on the small dwarf which had begun to trail them almost upon entering the town's limits; it was possible the sudden rush of noise, smells and other physical bodies had made it hard to notice. Pulling his fur wrappings higher around his face he scoffed at the group and made a right turn into a dark alley way to be confronted by a much taller figure, clad in Hunter Officer clothing. In a gruff voice the red dwarf spoke, "You are indeed right my patron . . . the vampire princess and the key to the lock has come into the city."

"Good," the man said with a grin before reaching out towards the dwarf, "You've done well and deserve a nice . . . long . . . 'rest' . . ."

There was no scream nor any evidence left over after the dwarf was engulfed, completely erased from existance, and the Hunter leaned on the alley wall watching the group almost making it's way to the local in. Two thoughts ran through his mind as he watched them enter, "Well . . . I could contact Abagal or Sammael and tell them the location of their missing people . . . or, what I'd much rather do, is retrieve the princess myself . . . that oaf of a 'key' can wait a bit longer . . ."

during the last week Siniles had done the same thing and had managed to get three more battle ships. She now had a total of about 700 men strong. This lose in men would not go unnoticed though, which she already knew. So she was have her men turn two of the ships into a barrier fort. Thanks to there numbers, the men would be done within a week. Now there where woman but only scarcely. In total there was only like four......

"Well what do we have here?" a voice from behind Silines said in a confident tone and, by the sound of it, the speaker was a female with a large build. Looking behind her Silines could see a large female Orc holding a mace with a small grin on her mug. By orc standards this female might be a beauty and eyecandy but to anyone else her long mangled hair, stubbled chin, and thick muscular arms were anything but beautiful. Wipping the corner of her mouth of some saliva she pointed to the men unloading the cargo ship and scowled as she spoke, a tough warrior's voice by any race, "What are you doing with all of these supplies? A supernatural creature should not be anywhere near a human unless they are in battle or already dead . . ."

joey smiled at alyssa and looked around taking in a deep breath. "it is home alyssa for both of us finaly we're home." joey said as he walked into the center of the town square and looked at the foutian smiling. he reached his hand in and the water started to glow imidatly as joey drew his hand out holding a small orb. he walked over to evangline and handed it to her. "try it you'll like the taste." he said smiling as he watched dante's eyes light up. the sweets of the water. something joey didnt make often and when he did it was only for friends he truely cared about. "after all you do deserve something good to drink for once." he said with a laugh as people came up to joey and greated him kindly.
dante walked over to alyssa smiling at her. "he truely fitts in here doesnt he." he asked her.

Alyssa nodded her head as Evangeline slowly took the gift Joey had created for her. Yet once the swirling ball of liquid left Joey's hands it lost it's form and splashed on the ground like any normal water would do. Embarrassed and a bit peeved at Joey, mistaking his offer as a prank on her, Evangeline resisted the impulse to knock him across the head as hard as she could. Instead she crossed her arms, turned around, and asked when they'd be able to go to the Inn and get rooms to sleep in. It was still high noon and both vampires were not enjoying being up in the middle of the day, though the downcast and cloudy skies did make it easier for them to be out in the daylight hours. Thinking Alyssa turned to Dante and Joey, "Mind leading the way this time?"

IC:joey grabed evangline and smiled as he pulled her off towords the large hotel laughing like a young spirted boy making the 18 year old look truely happy. "so evanglinie how do you like this place so far its amazing isnt it." joey said as dante followed the pair close behind. "I feel like i can truely be myself here and not worry about people using me for power." he said as he walked into the hotell paying for the rooms and leading them up. "we should spend a few days here before we leave ok." joey said smiling. dante smiled as he grabed joey pulling him close to his body making the 18 year old looking boy blush. "i like that idea joey provided i get to spend some time with you." he said making alyssa snicker and eveangline roll her eyes.

OOC:lets let a few days go by before we have the fight happen. i want to introduce a new charter before we leave to replace whoever gets taken.

"Would you mind leading the way this time Joey?" Alyssa had asked stepping aside and letting him go in frotn of her. In an unexpected impulse Joey grabbed Evangeline's hand, smiled, and pulled her off towards the large hotel laughing. As he lead her along Evangline couldn't help pay attention to the fact he was holding her hand, she didn't remember anybody ever holding her hand, and she was becoming jittery because of it; though the idea causing her embarrassment was completely unfounded, it was Joey after all. Moving through the crowds the man trapped in the body of an eighteen year old asked if she liked the town so far. Nodding her head she spoke up, "Its odd too see humans and supernaturals all in one place without them fighting. Its like they don't even care . . . it makes me think I could just walk up to anybody and say 'I'm a vampire' and they'd just smile about it instead of running away."

"Exactly! I feel like I can truely be myself here and not worry about people using me," Joey replied, Dante and Alyssa following beind the pair, as he walked into the Hotel lobby. Getting the rooms was easier than Evangeline could imagine, Joey was obviously carrying a good ammount of money on him, and then once the transaction was over he lead them up to the rooms. Inside was plain, yet had such a down home feeling Evangeline couldn't help enjoying herself. Looking around there was actually two rooms, connected by a slidding door. The first room, where Evangeline and Alyssa would be staying, had the only window that looked out at the sunset and the entire village. The goose feather beds fluffed up around Alyssa's bottom as she sat down and then laid down to relaxe her back from all the recent tension before letting out a content sigh. Slidding on of the doors Evangeline walked out of the small tiled room and exitedly told Alyssa, "They have running water!!!"

"Of course they do. This isn't the woods you know," came her reply coupled with a wink. Since they'd meet up Evangeline constantly complained about having to 'do her buisness' in the woods which, as she stated just as many times as her complaints, 'was not fit for someone like her and was completely unsanitary!' Looking over as Joey and Dante came through the ajoining door Joey smiled, "We should spend a few days here before we leave. That way we'll be all rested up for the long journey, okay?"

Nodding her head while Evangeline excitedly agreed, Dante grabbed Joey's hips and pulling him close. Feeling Dante's back pressing against his body, the warm feeling of his heartbeat, and the tension of his muscular arms made Joey blush a deep red before he heard him speak, "I personally like that idea very . . . very much, provided I get to spend the time with you."

Alyssa snickered as Joey's entire body grew red from embarrassment and Eveangline roll her eyes, throwing a pillow at the two, "Knock it off you two."

Sioshia walked into the village, looking at the cooperation of the human and the supernatural. "Wow, i didn't even know this was possible. Even still, i doubt it will last. The humans are to trecherous." She sighed and shook her head. "Even still, its the first ceasefire zone I've seen in a while. I think I'll stay here a bit." Sioshia turned and headed for the inn, tired after the long day's walk.

Sioshia quickly got a room and headed up, removing her equipment and setting it down on the bed. She looked outside and saw the sun setting behind the trees. Again she sighed, "If only we could all see eachother behind the eyes of the other. Hmm, It's early, i think I'll head out on a walk." Sioshia left the room behind, grabbing only her chakrams on the wayout. She went down stairs and exited the inn, coming once again into contact with her oldest friend. She felt the wind blow on her face and horror took over her face. "Something Evil is drawing near. I need to prepare."

OOC:guys im gonna get you if you dont shut it my internet has being going crazy plus im making that guy

IC:Joey awoke the next morning feeling dantes arm wraped protectively around his waist. HE smiles and for a minute let himself curl into dantes warmth as the elements bid him good morning. after a minute or so joey sliped out of dantes arms and got dressed quietly limping downstaries to the large bathhouse. he walked in to the hot springs smiling as the water in the spring heated up further for him steaming up the room as he steped in quietly. once he was deep in the pool he ran a hand over the surface of the water stilling it as he gazed into it. slowly an imigage appared on the surface of a handsome man looking at him. "Monday how much long untill you arrive?" joey asked as he looked into the imigage. "Calm down Sunday I will be there by the end of today or tommrrow morning at the latist. you are safe there sammuel wont launch an attack on that city no matter what. he knews if he does then no even he would be able to stop the wrath of the sleeping giant that dewlls there." The man told joey. joey nodded as the man disapared just in time for the sliding door to open and evangline to walk inside. i forgot these baths are co-sex

It had been a couple days since the group had arrived at the city and the entire time had been a pleasant one. Being able to go anywhere they pleased without worry of having to defend themselves against Hunter attacks at first felt odd too Evangeline, yet she was quick to get used to it. Having done some shopping during the first day with Alyssa, leaving Joey and Dante to each other, she had gotten the lay out of the entire town. With that information in her head she had been able to go out into the city on her own without having a bodyguard, despite Joey insisting that she needed one, and began completely enjoying herself. However after a long day of doing things to her hearts content the vampire princess felt a little bit grungy, feeling a strong need to take a bath and wash it all off. Removing her clothing and placing it in a cuboard, Evangeline wrapped a towel around her petite body and opened the slidding door . . . only to spot Joey looking up at her in the bath.

Turning red Evangeline covered herself, even though the towel had already done that, and glared at him. Picking a water bucket with her feet she slung it at his head, spinning in the air as it went towards him, and yelled, "Get out of here!!!"
"How long are we going to keep them under surveilance?" Abigale said through her sandwhich and raised an eyebrow. The man who had been accompanying her, a superior officer, since she'd arrived long before Joey's group looked away from the binoculars and then silently went back to watching the front door. Scowling she took another bite of the sanwhich and scooted besides him taking out her own binoculars to begin watching. Time slowly passed by and the silence grew longer and longer until the man spoke, "One more day."

"Oh . . . okay," his partner, or subordinate depending on your views, said after having her heart jump from him suddenly speaking.
Alyssa was walking through the city streets looking at the list which she'd scribbled down on a piece of paper. "I thought going out early would make finding all of these things easier to find," she thought to herself after reading that fish was next on the list of things to buy. Stopping in front of a market the vampire began to look through each of the selections and tried to pick out the best one of the group. It was true most of them didn't need to consume anything over than blood to survive, but still eating something else gave them the needed nutrition was alright. Picking a nice salmon and placing it in the basket Alyssa turned to see a minotaur being blasted through a pubs wall, even going so far that he even crashed through the opposite building before stopping. The entire crowd looked into the bar to see a human man walking out with a bottled of half filled alcohol and wipped his mug, "Filthy beast thinks he can challenge me?"

Sioshia walked around around the quiet town. All her life she had been see war and now she was in a town of tranquility, something that was well deserved. She looked around the market in amazement of the cooperation, as she approched a nearby stall. She looked through the items and finally found a beautiful salmon that she wanted, which she quickly reached for; however, she was to slow. A Female vampire swiped the fish and put it into a basket. "Damn, that was going to be my dinner."

Sioshia turned to walk away when she heard the shattering of boards from the building behind her. She quickly turned around to see a minotaur in the wreckage of one of the stalls and a drunken man standing in the hole in the wall. The drunk smuggly wiped his mug and spoke "Filthy beast thinks he can challenge me?"

Rage flared through Saio's body as she ran at the man, pulling the chakrams from her belt. Sioshia through one of the chakrams at the man's flank, slashing his side, and returning to her hand. The drunk turned and looked at her, "Now I have a stupid B*tch trying to fight me?" he said with a half drunk smile. Saio approched the man, who quickly grabbed her by the neck and threw her at the minotaur, missing his hornes by inches. Saio bounced off the minotaurs head backwards, did a half backflip and landed on her feet. The man looked at her in disgust and ran at her in an attemped straight path. He threw a couple quick punches which sioshia easily dodged. Again the man threw punches, forcing Saio to recoil.

After a few more attempts, The drunk forced Saio into a corner. "I got you now pretty lady. Your coming home with me." Saio threw a punch at his face, which he easily caught. She tried again only to get her other hand caught. "Your mine now!" He said. He looked at her only to see her face brighten as the fallen minotaur came up behind the man and held him in place with hands at his sided.

Saio looked at the man smuggly. "What was that now?" She asked him.

Joey quickly ducked underwater as evangline threw the bucket at him then made the water steam to the point where nothing was visiable. "calm down princess i cant see anything now and besides id rather be in here to keep you safe over a strange man walking in." joey said as he sat back down calmly as he listened to the water talk top him. she's a weird girl isnt she elemental. it told him in a beautiful womens voice. i dont see why you put up with these creatures they polute me when i give them life. it said. "calm down they arnt as bad as you think they are besides some of them can be wonderfull." joey said forgetting evangline was around as he spoke to the water.

Dante walked up to alyssa watching the scene with a yawn. "another bar fight so earily in the night. these people dont have any manors." dante told her trying not to laugh.

Selinis turned to look at who was speaking to her. It was a female orc which was ugly in every respect of the word. "Hmph, and whom might you be fool. Those who can't control the lives of others wouldn't understand the feeling one gets when controlling said others." She stared the orc in the eye waiting its response. If the ork tried attacking her then it'd have to go through her army. Even with the orc so close to her it didn't matter.
