The next morning, Morte was awoken by a blinding light. "What? Oh it's alright." He said sitting up slowly. He was in his human form now, hopefully she wouldn't notice when she was fixing his wounds, "Umm, I took my fur coat off so you don't have to worry about that." Morte said with a faint smile, "I can't stay here for long, the second I'm better, I'm out of here!" Morte thought to himself, he didn't like bothering this woman, nor being treated like this because the woman did not know that he in fact was a werewolf.

OOC: I will be posting as Milite and Carmina again when it shifts back to night.

Leaning over Morte could smell the perfume wafting off of her hair, a smell that intoxicated him almost with it's sweet fragerance, and Yaming slowly unwound the bandages. Smiling as Morte spoke her grin growing even bigger as she removed the last of the bloodied bandages; happy that he had managed to remove it to get more comfertable. Running her soft hands over his arms he could tell there was a certain ammount of suprise as she stopped at his shoulders. Repeating this motion for his other arm she sat down in her chair and spoke, "Morte your wounds are gone . . . all of them are completely healed . . ."

Morte suddenly felt entranced by all the smells gouing around him, and suddenly when he felt Yaming's hand, somehting just, clicked for him, but he got a tad embarassed and began not thinking about it, how could such and impure thought enter his mind? "Really? Hmm, well I'm sure you helped heal them, with that medicine of yours..." Morte knew it was his fast healing of a Werewolf and transformation that really aided the process, however he still owed this woman his life, "Look..." Morte slowly got up off the bed and turned to face her, he was shirtless, but dressed for the rest, "Now... I can't... I don't want to be an annoyance to you anymore than I have to and trust me, you don't want me around... However..." Morte became silent suddenly, "I-I do owe you my life, I am grateful... How should I repay you?"

Yaming smiled as Morte thanked her for the aid, knowing full well that her herbs couldn't heal him that quickly and began to suspect there was something more to this man. Once he offered to repay her she quickly dismissed it, saying he didn't need to since she never intended on getting anythign back. However after a second or so of thinking Yaming had actually came up with something he could do for her. Taking a step closer to him she lowered her head before begining her request, "Well you see . . . I am in need of a guide. I have to go to the nearest town for supplies and, without a guide, it is very risky for me to go on my own. My husband used to go, but now I have to be the one . . ."

"An Escort huh?" Morte thought to himself, "Umm... sure, why not." Morte said, but then a thought came to mind, "Oh s***, I forgot my human form doesn't come with a shirt!" Morte then rubbed hte back of his head, "Umm, I know this may sound odd but... do you happen to have any extra shirts on you? I kindof don't have one." Morte said with a chuckle, "Well not on me anyway." Morte then put one hand on Yaming's shoulder, "Don't worry, I'll take you to the town safely, just need a shirt first." he said smiling widely.

Yaming beamed, leaping on Morte and wrapping her arms around him in a big hug. She thanked him again and again, and again even as she went upstairs to retrieve a shirt for him. Coming back down she nearly tripped over herself she was so excited he'd be aiding her on the long journey to the village she needed to go to. Now standing in front of him again Yaming fumbled with the shirt in her hand, her smile finally fading away from her sweet innocent face, "Th-This used to belong to my husband before . . . well . . . I hope it fits you . . ."

Handing the shirt over Yaming slowly left Morte's side and sat beside the window. It was a sad sight to see, a young woman normally so full of life suddenly fall into such a state.

Morte was happy to see yaming in such a good mood, but, then when she told him about the shirt, he felt kind of bad and watched as she went to sit down. "Poor girl, I guess even some humans have feelings, I mean they are animals too, right?" Morte thought to himself as he put the shirt on, "It fits perfectly Yaming, come on, lets go." Morte said opening the door, "Now where's the nearest town?" Morte asked not knowing where he was at the moment.

Yaming laughed as Morte waited at the door, but never moved. For a couple minutes the situation grew more awkward until the werewolf realized that she wasn't going to be moving anytime soon. Crossing her arms she couldn't help but let poor Morte in on the funny part of the situation and decided to cut him a break. Walking over to the door she shut it and turned around again, "The nearest village is a three day trek through the valley. We need to pack for both of us and make sure we have the proper things to defend ourselves with . . ."

"There are monsters out in the woods you know," Yaming added in turning back to Morte's direction, her hands reaching to find a cooking spoon.

At that, Morte's heart sunk, "Three days? Oh wow..." Morte scratched his head, "Well, don't worry about monsters, trust me... they won't harm us." Morte said proudly, "Well, at least the werewolves won't." Morte whispered to himself. He knew thatany werewolf would recognize his scent immediately so he wasn't worried about that. He helped Yaming pack up everything needed for the trip, "You know, three days is a long time, haven't you ever considered moving closer to the town?" Morte said jokingly, "I mean, you really shouldn't be living out here, all by yourself..."

"Well," Yaming said pausing for a minute turning her head to 'look' around the room she stood in, "I have lived her for a long time with my husband and I can't bring myself to ever part with it. I know that since he's gone it would be safer to move closer or even into the town, but this place holds too many happy memories for me to just leave it to rot . . ."

"I hope you understand," she finishes looking at him with her blank eyes. Smiling sadly, yet still warmly, she turns her head back to the table and grabs a few things. She didn't want to bring back up the subject of monsters, but she had heard Morte whisper to himself that the werewolves would not be a problem. At first she thought it might be because he was an expert monster hunter, but she didn't know for sure.

Morte gave a soft sigh, "Well... alright, but how are you going to make the trip when I'm gone?" Morte asked as he reached for his sword, hopefully he wouldn't need it. "Well, I just hope you'll be okay is all, knowing your out here." Morte sighed and placed the sword into it's scabbard that he had mounted on his back with a belt that wrapped around the shirt he was wearing. "Don't worry about getting lost though, I know these forests well, at least I think. After we get a certain ways along I'll know exactly where I am." Morte said with a chuckle.

Yaming had finished packing her things, managing somehow to bundle everything into a slightly oversized backpack, and lifted it on her shoulders. Once she had done that her hands reached out to grab a wooden staff, a walking stick if Morte had to guess, and faced the doorway, "Thank you for doing this for me Morte. You wont have to worry about me after this, I can get there on my own after you've left."

"Now," she began walking towards the shut door and opening it to reveal the bright autumn day which had been surrounding the cabin all morning. Smiling Yaming walked outside to enjoy the warmth of the sun and raised her hands to better experiance the beams of light. She sighed calling back out to Morte in her usual happy tone, "Shall we get going?"

It was around midnight when joey and dante emerged from the tent. dante had a arm warped around joeys waist making the boy blush bright red as they moved out. "now that we have that out of the way where do you think we should head alyssa." dante asked as he looked at the still sleeping princess. "we need to get her to a safe place and this whole land mass is controled by sammuel now." he finished as joey disloged himself from dante's arm.

"yeah not to mention that if either the princess or i get caught the last three land masses will fall like the rest." joey said sadly.

"Then I think it would be wise to get one of you to the safest place we can," Alyssa said standing back up, though not ever moving closer to her partner in the least bit. In all honesty though she trusted him with her life Alyssa had never gotten used to Dante's particular form of feeding and it slightly disturbed her. At this time Evangeline stirred, standing up and wipping her eyes of sleep. Yawning she stretched and looked around her, still half asleep and her eyes droopy, "Where are we? What happened? I thought I ran to a village . . ."

"Well you did you see," Alyssa said wondering if Evangeline had overheard them or, more importantly, had remembered what she did to the townsfolk. Looking back over her shoulder she wondered if Joey was going to tell her the truth or keep it a secret that she had killed and drained the blood of at least a dozen or more humans before passing out.

Joey looked at the princess and shoot his head. "princess you killed over a dozen humans sucked them dry. you need to be more careful or your gonna get hurt." joey scoled as dante pulled him into his lap making joey blush a deep red. "dante not in public!" joey practicaly screamed as dante kissed his cheek.

"yes young one if you keep being reckless it will lead to self destruction. now of corse every vampre feeds diffrently. alyssa prefers hunting. i prefer feeding off of joey with the special venom i produce that makes him produce more blood and allows him to feel pleasure from it. of corse i take it one step further but thats just my prefernces. but what you did is inexcusable. we do not do that." dante said squeezing joey accdentaly making joey elbow him.

Alyssa was a bit shocked that Joey had been so blunt in his statements, though all he did was tell the truth. Then Dante went on, speaking in a more understanding tone of voice, and explained that Evangeline shouldn't feed like that and even used himself and Alyssa as examples of how each vampire feeds. Watching Evangeline Alyssa couldn't help but feeldeeply sorry for the young girl, having to relive the pains of realization of what she was all over again, and it reminded her of herself when she first became a vampire. Evangeline's eyes were whelling up with tears after having learned wha she'd done, her hands wrapped around her stomach while her face seemed to turn a sickly green. Doubling over she immediately vomited up some of the blood she had consumed, coughing and gaging from reflexes, and finally began crying. Out of character Alyssa, known as a deadly vampire hunter even amongst the Hunters, stooped beside the bailing princess and held her tight; she ran her hands through the girl's silk blond hair to try and calm her down.

"its ok princess we all know how you feel even joey. we each had to come to terms with what we are. alyssa and i the same thing as you. joey comming to terms with being the worlds only elemental. its a hard time but we all must pull through." dante said as he watch alyssa being almost motherly towords the princess. he couldnt help but feel happy that alyssa had someone who was like herself. (i know what alyssa orginal backstory was so im gonna put it here but if you wanna change it feel free k). her parents and family had tried to kill her and every single human she came across wanted her dead. poor alyssa had just wanted someone to hold her and tell her it would be ok and thats what dante had done for her. joey squirmed in dantes lap making him come back down to earth.
"hey princess." joey said in a clam voice. "it will be ok i promise." joey said as he felt dante pull him further into his lap knowing he too needed a bit of confert. "we're here to help you through this."

Alyssa looked up from comferting Evangeline and held her finger in front of her mouth, not needing to make the 'shsshh' noise for them to understand. Though she was possibly hundreds of years old Evangeline still had the body of a child, and at the moment of a newborn vampire, so it was to be expected that she'd cry herself to sleep. Holding the vampire princess in her arms Alyssa looked back to the two friends of hers and gave them a knowing nod that they should get moving before the Hunters actually DID show up. Standing, not letting Evangeline drop in the least bit, the huntress carried the child as the others hauled everything else; Joey getting the short straw and carrying not only his own possessions, but Evangeline and Alyssa's as well. They continued to walk for a while until the sun started to go down in the sky once more. By now they'd long since left the shores and were begining to see meadows around them when Evangeline stirred and woke up, "HU? DId I fall asleep again?"

"yeah dont worry about it." joey said as he walked forward with a slab of earth carrying all of their possesions. it had felt like forever since they had last rested but joey knew it was nessary to keep moving other wise they would be in big trouble. hey dante you think the princess will be ok? joey asked letting alyssa in on the conversation as well.
she should be but for now its alot to deal with. shes now become a monster in her own eyes and it will take awhile for her to heal. he said calmly as he kept walking frowning as he thought.
"hey guys not to larm everyone but we're gonna have some trouble in a minute or two." joey said as he let the earthen slab fall to the ground and got into a fight stance looking at the next hill. "theres about fifty of them over there ready to fight. we cant turn back because thats the way to the only supernatural port left." he said as his hands glowed a deep brown.

"I just wish her memory would return. This is getting tiresome having to babysit a leader of the vampiric clan," Alyssa added in, voicing her annoyance at the situation, trying to avoid showing that she was in fact concern about Evangeline. When indeed the princess woke up and asked if she had fallen asleep again, to which Dante nodded a yes. Suddenly the atmosphere changed when Joey stated that they had trouble coming ahead, Alyssa drawing her weapons as he got into a fighting stance, "Are you sure it's around fifty and why would they have found us this easily?"

"What?! Who!? Who found us?!" Evangeline asked in a very concerned voice. For all she knew she had been quietly asleep during the time they were traveling and had lost her sense of direction, not even knowing where they were, and thus who they'd be up against. If it was the Hunters fifty would spell the end of them or if it was members of the werewolf tribe. The sun set as the tension mounted to a fever pitch, Alyssa drawing her bow string to the max, "Here they come!"

Morte smiled at her and said calmly, "Sure." Morte stepped outside and looked into the forest in front of them, "Well, I just have to get thid journey done, then I'll be able to be a werewolf again..." Morte thought to himself, disgusted with his human form, "Alright lets start off, you sure you don't want me to carry that bag of yours?" Morte asked politely as it looked really heavy. Morte was a gentleman of sorts but preferred to be his natural, do what you should, kind of self so this actually came natural for him.

Yaming shook her head as she hoisted the bundle of items on her back farther up to ensure she wouldn't drop it. She had done this a couple times on her own and though she wouldn't be able to keep up the pace for an entire day she didn't need much help. She was not just a beautiful woman but a sturdy one too. Setting off the couple continued to walk through the woods with relative ease and didn't have to go off the path too many times. While they walked both Yaming and Morte spoke freely about anything that came to mind. It was by this that the werewolf discovered the Yaming's husband had reluctently joined the Hunters Society in order to protect the local villages from trolls which would raid the town every autumn and snatch a woman or two away while they were at it. Eventually they town just simply started handing over women to the trolls to prevent the constant destruction they were causing . . . and that before he had drove them away, resulting in his death, she had been the last offering the town'd given.

By the time Yaming's long, sad story had finished the sun was already gone and the sky quickly darkening.

Morfte became quiet when he had heard Yaming'sstory, "Wow... I'm sorry for your loss..." Morte and Yaming walked on some more and neither of them spoke, then, as if in an instant, the sun was gone and the moon was becoming visible. "Tch, getting dark." Morte said to himself, breaking the silence. "We should try and find a place to rest, right?" Morte said as they came to an small, flat area surrounded by trees.

Meanwhile in the Village Kotaro is staying in....

As the sun set, the same routine was present, children were being ordered inside, and after the attack from last night, many hunters were on watch for Carmina. The wind blew with her name, and everyone knew her next destination... Suddenly, a loud knocking came about on the door of Kiba's owners (U really have to name them), It was... Milite...

"Got it," Alyssa responded just as a bullet embedded itself into her right shoulder, the pain causing her to loose the usage of it. Holding up the sawed off muskett with one arm even the new Hunters were able to tell the vampiric's accuracy had gone down drastically so at a long enough range she couldn't hit them; though the other two were still causing problems. Cursing Alyssa questioned to herself if rushing in, taking out as many as she could, would be a good idea but decided against it. Because even though she'd manage to remove about ten or twenty she'd just end up being shot down.

"Alyssa let me help," Evangeline yelled through the bellows of the men fighting. Looking beside her Evangeline hoisted the sawed off muskett, acting as Alyssa's right arm to steady the gun's barrel. Shooting more accurately now the two worked together to fend off the Hunters so Joey could form his golems, but everyone was suprised when the towering hunks of earth came crashing down followed by a low thund.

Turning they could hear a woman's voice state 'there will be none of that thank you' as Joey fell to his knees. A blond woman, her glasses reflexging the moon's light, pulled the white silk gloves on tighter as she looked down at her stunned victim. Alyssa knew the woman, a well known Hunter- Abagal of the Jackal Squardon.

"Oh it is?" Yaming said with a small laugh, making a terrible pun on the fact she was blind and thus couldn't tell. When Morte tried to apologize she merely waved him off with a smile and agreed they should find a place to rest. Holding her hands out Yaming breathed calmly as she moved each arm in a semi circle. Stopping she placed her hands down and spoke, "I think this should be a good enough place to sleep. Wide open and not a lot of dangers around you can't handle."

Sitting her stuff down Yaming began to dig into the massive pack and pulled out rods for making a tent, attatching them three by three so they stood well over Morte's head. Even though she was blind the speed at which Yaming pitched her tent was amazing, getting everything done in about two minutes, and sat down in front of it with a big grin.

Yes back to where Kotaro is . . .

Peering out of the window the woman, whom the Hunters had been told was Sarah Lee, held her daughter tightly against her. Young Katie could feel her mother's rapid heart beat as she laid eyes on the demonic looking child, a creature which even certain Hunter officials feared, and heard her own heart keeping pace. Shutting the curtains Sarah Lee turned around and began whispering prayers, begging the Gods not to take her daughter and see them safely through this crisis. As the low prayers were being said Kotaro gave a huff, looked towards the doggie door that had been cut out of the bottom of the doorway just for him, and slipped outside to do what he felt needed to be done.
