.Nu-13
CPUs don't need to follow the banlist, their Decks are pre-made with whatever the developers felt like. The AI is generally pretty terrible, so giving them cards you can't use is one of the ways to make the game slightly challenging. If you could use those cards, the game would be far too easy. But not in TF
Which is why I have to rush through WC games while barely buying any cards so that the game doesn't get too easy. It's kinda annoying that I end up forcing myself to run bad Decks. Then I just go YVD or something because it's silly.
Astro Dude
I'm trying to run a good Synchro deck. I will admit that the game is more challenging than any of the Tag Force games put together. But it is cooler. Here's how: Turn bonus points = turns passed x 5 Better than Tag Force. Resident Fascist
Well that's awesome. In tag force 5 you don't really get anything from turn bonus O_O
Astro Dude
Thanks. Oh and there's this: Level Bonus = your current level x 30 And there's a movie theater where you get to watch movies of certain signature monsters being summoned and attacking. These monsters (That I found out so far) are: - Stardust Dragon - Majestic Star Dragon - Shooting Star Dragon - Junk Warrior - Red Dragon Archfiend - Majestic Red Dragon - Red Nova Dragon - Black Rose Dragon - Power Tool Dragon - Ancient Fairy Dragon - Black-Winged Dragon - Blackwing Armor Master - Blackwing Armed Wing - Chevalier de Fleur - Infernity Doom Dragon (I was kinda surprised) - Ccapac Apu - Ccarayhua - Uru - Cusillu - Aslla Piscu and of course: - Destiny Board victory - Exodia victory (Both were used in Tag Force) There are three other monsters but I'm not sure who they are. I'm placing odds one of them is Hundred Eyes Dragon I just wish they made movies of the summon and attack of Chacu Challhua and Wiraqocha Rasca. Also, when a caharacter like Yusei or his friends summon a monster there are different energy bursts around them depending on what attribute they are: Fire: Flames around the monster Earth: Rocks and sand Light: Light energy Wind: whirling wind Water: Water and bubbles Dark: Dark energy How cool is this? -Griffin
Not at all. I'd rather they scrapped all the special effects on cards and put that programming time into making less terrible AI.
Astro Dude
I kinda like the effects. Oh and I was wrong about Hundred Eyes Dragon having a movie. Turns out, Exploder Dragonwing did. That only leaves two monsters with summoning and attacking movies. But with over 4500 cards it'll be hard to find which other monsters have movies.
It honestly doesn't look like you do, with that pros and cons post having some of the worst reasoning I've ever seen in regards to the game that wasn't sarcasm (2 CyDras VS CED thing) - along with it looking like you didn't know certain cards were released, such as legal Obelisk. Astro Dude
I'm sorry. I just thought if Obelisk and Ra were playable, Slifer has to be playable sometime in the future. When I first played Yggdrasil Level 4 was tough to beat, cause there was this one transcender who ran a Gravekeeper deck and unlike Yazmin's this guys deck was near unstoppable cause of that Gravekeeper's Visionary. Another Transcender deck was this one named after Sailor moon items, the Rainbow Crystal deck, cause it uses the Crystal Beasts and Rainbow Dragon. One trick I learned is that Quickdraw can be used for any Synchro Monster as long as the Synchro Monster uses a "Synchron" for a Synchro Material monster. (Man that's a lot of Synchro) Oh and another thing, last night I found a new summon and attack movie and they belong to Dragon Knight Draco-Equiste. That just leaves one more monster, in a sea of over 4,500 cards. This'll be a real stumper.

Astro Dude
I have matches against myself, and I've seen the anime so I pretty much know what to expect from the characters. Also, I found who the last movies are for: Gadget Hauler. That's all the movies. I'm just glad they didn't include the Machine Emperor parts cause that would be tough to beat.
-Griffin
The duelists in the anime are all terrible. And really, most people don't care in the slightest about which cards have ATK/Summon movies. Also, Machine Emperors are mediocre. Don't fluff them up to be that great. Astro Dude
I'm just making a point. Anyway, I'm in the red zone 8th floor. I beat this, I get to duel Lawton. I just hope he's not as tough as he was in the anime.
-Griffin
He wasn't tough in the anime. His Deck was terrble and relied being lucky and getting an OTK that can't work outside of anime rules where you start with lol4000 LP. If he's anything like the terrible player in the anime, and you still lose, you really need to get a better Deck.
Astro Dude
Actually I duelled him and he's not as bad as you think. He's got Elemental Hero Absolute Zero in his deck along with Dark Scorpion Meanae the Thorn. Aside from that not much else. But I managed to beat him. He made the stupid mistake of leaving Meanae in ATK mode, making her a perfect target for my Turbo Warrior. One of the hardest decks i had to beat was called "Repeated Denial", where he would get lots of cards in his hand, like Heralds, and stop me from making any powerful moves. Surely you're familiar with the effects of the Heralds of Purple, Green and Orange Light, aren't you?
-Griffin
Yes. And aware that Herald of Perfection is the only one that poses a threat to a decent Deck.
Lewk
Looks like it'll be good for deck testing. Do you think if I printed off a card and scanned it, it would recognise the card?
Astro Dude
The scanner's not available with the game. And I agree with Griffin. I experienced the effetcs first hand. It's even worse if there are two Solidarities on the field. But why make Herald of Perfection a Ritual Monster instead of a Fusion Monster? Does this mean you CAN use forbidden cards?
Well, maybe if you beat the game. The bad news is, you can use one and only one forbidden card so choose well. I ran across a Transcender who ran a Blackwing deck called Wind and Moon where he used three Painful Choice, three Monster Reborn, Three Graceful Charities and three Blackwing Gale the Whirlwind. I was lucky to even beat him. Not to spoil but word is there`s a transcender that uses Exodia. If he has three copies of each piece, like Rare Hunter, we could be in trouble.
