Engetsu
Sounds interesting, but the 2 archetype thing could be very messy if you think about, mainly due to balance reasons.
FTW (For The Wynn)
It could, of course, but this is a good chance for us to test our skills. I've never attempted anything like it, and it's actually an idea I've been thinking about using. I want to see how well it works, and this just seems like a good way to test it out. Engetsu
Well if you put it that way, then sure, I accept your challenge. It might take me a day or two to make a card like that, so I hope you don't mind the wait.
FTW (For The Wynn)
It's going to take awhile for me too. I'm also going home tonight, so I'll be offline for awhile. Take as much time as you need. I already have an image, but I need to figure out what I should make the effect be.

FTW (For The Wynn)
Quick Question: Do you want to do this as a Card A vs Card B format?
Engetsu
It doesn't really matter to me. If you want to do the Card A vs B format, then I don't mind. And surprisingly, I'm nearly done with my card lol.
FTW (For The Wynn)
Actually, I'm done with my card. I'm just curious.
Engetsu
Waiting on me are you? Nice. I would have been done now, but I'm struggling on the name atm. My card is most likely broken though xD so it probably won't matter.
FTW (For The Wynn)
My card redefines broken, so you're fine. It's a tough challenge anyway.
Engetsu
I see, and if you don't mind FTW, I think the voters should at least research the archetypes a bit before making their vote, to make things more fair. Agree?
FTW (For The Wynn)
But of course. It wouldn't be fair otherwise.
Engetsu
Alright thanks, and my card is up. Waiting on you FTW.
FTW (For The Wynn)
Psh, if that's what you call "broken" then you need to see this...I wanted to make it useful, but I think I went a wee bit overboard somewhere. "Jurrac Tyrannus" + "Machina Fortress"This card can only be Special Summoned with the above Fusion Material monsters. This card is also treated as Dinosaur-Type. Once per turn during your Main Phase you can discard 1 card from your hand to destroy 1 card on the field. During the turn this effect is activated this card cannot declare an attack. Once per turn you can Tribute 1 Dinosaur-Type or 1 Machine-Type monster you control to activate 1 of the following effects.●Machine-Type: Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Machina" monster from your hand or Graveyard.●Dinosaur-Type: Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Jurrac" monster from your hand or Graveyard. When this card is destroyed in battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can pay 1000 Life Points to Special Summon 1 Level 8 or lower Machine-Type monster from your hand or Graveyard. When this card is destroyed by a card effect and sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 1 Level 8 or lower Dinosaur-Type monster from your hand or Graveyard. Like I said, I think I went a wee bit overboard...oh well, if so this is your win.
Engetsu
lol my card could be, since the Gusta archetype is focused on Special Summoning. Anyways I'll put your card up in just a moment, and we'll start this contest.
FTW (For The Wynn)
Well then, I guess this is now a contest of "Whose card is less broken". Start voting! Edit: You forgot to post the Fusion Material monsters with my card effect.
Engetsu
That I did. I'll fix that in just a moment.
snowyash
For FTW's card, after looking at both the Archetypes involved, it seems to stray from both archetypes slightly. The first effects seems more fairly useful and balanced. The second effect seems fairly pointless unless you're cycling through cards, and the basic Archetype cards can probably do it better. The last part is OP'd, seeing as if you've controlled you're Graveyard right you can pull out a monster that is more or less as good as your monster. For Engetsu, the card blends the main effects of the two Archetypes nicely and pulls them off to good effect. Also helps with the Gusta Synchro Summon theme if it works well. The main problem being that you could be self-milling for no point if you were to mix the Archetypes. Having spent a while looking around Archetypes I never even knew existed, I had to learn the bare basics to vote. So if I'm missing an intended reason for costs/effects or something, sorry. My vote is for Engetsu.
FTW (For The Wynn)
Like I said, this'll probably come down to which is less broken. Thanks for the vote :D
