Pokemon Academy 2.0 (Started/Accepting Now! o.0)

"Hey, get back here!" said Tormod, running after the black smoke. It was still running away. Come on Vulpix! He can't run forever!" he said, and Vulpix ran ahead of him. Just when she was about to enter the black smoke, it moved down through the mountain. Then, it started to go into a cave. "Vulpix, Quick Attack!" he said, and Vulpix jumped down the mountain with incredible speed and ran into the cave Tormod took a deep breath and jumped off the mountain landing on a few rocks. He kept jumping on the rocky walls until he reached the ground. Then, he ran into the cave that vulpix and the black smoke went into. He quickly hurried in.

Tornod was shocked at what he saw. He saw Vulpix, growling at a turtle. And out of all the people he could meet, it was Jake. "Jake?" he asked, and saw a Quilava. "Wow, your pokemon evolved! Anyway, isn't that pokemon a Torkoal?" he asked, but he looked into the corner which Torkoal had ran into. He was cornered. "Alright Jake, this guy's mine!" he said, giving him a thumb's up. "Vulpix, use Quick Attack!" he said, and Vulpix ran at Torkoal, and breath-taking illusions of Vulpix happened when she ran with incredible speed. Then, Torkoal retreated into his shell. Vulpix ht the shell and was thrown back by his defensive power. Then, realizing that he was battling him, he got out of his shell and jumped into the air. Then, it opened it's arms and aimed for Vulpix. "Vulpix, fend him off with Flamethrower!" he said, and a fiery breath hit Torkoal, keeping him in the air. "Now, use Fire Spin!" Tormod said, and Vulpix stopped using Flamethrower, and jumped out of the way. Then, Torkoal hit the ground, and Vulpix let out a fiery tornado. It engulged Torkoal. "Now, Quick Attack!" he said. Vulpix jumped into the tornado and spun, making a fast comet-like figure. It his Torkoal, and he was sent flying into a wall, destroying the Fire Spin. Then, Torkoal fell into some sand laying on the ground. "Hey, where did this sand come from?" he asked Jake, but he threw a pokeball at Torkoal. He was sent inside, and the pokeball fell into the sand. Then it wobled three times. "Yes, I caught a Torkoal!" he screamed, and Vulpix jumped into his arms. "Good job, Vulpix!" he said, hugging her, and then setting her down into the sand. Then, he called out Torkoal. Torkoal came out, and looked at him, Vulpix, Quilava, and Vulpix, and resorted to hiding into his shell with Withdraw. Tormod bent down to Torkoal. "It's okay, Torkoal. We gotta work on your confidence though. I loved your Body Slam, it was amazing!" he complemented to Torkoal. Then he turned to Jake and Quilava. "So, have you caught any other pokemon?" he asked him, smiling.

[Mr Dr Professor Spaz]

Anderson looked to the west and saw a mountain. I should be able to find a Ground-Type there. He stepped onto the mountain and saw a Ninjask. "This should do. I'll catch it in a haste to go to the assembly." He reached to pull out a Poke Ball, but by the time he got the ball out, the Ninjask had fled. Then he saw a Baltoy. "Washibon, come out!" he called. The tiny eagle emerged from it's Poke Ball. "Washibon, use Air Slash!" A light blue orb appeared at Washibon's wing which the bird threw at Baltoy. Baltoy took severe damage as a result of a Critical Hit. "Perfect, yet quick. Go Poke Ball!" He threw this ball at the voodoo doll-like creature. Three wiggles later, Anderson had a Baltoy. Then Anderson ran with his Washibon to the assembly.

OOC: Sorry if what I said is a bit confusing. I have no idea where to catch Hitomoshi anywhere, so I just had him catch her underground. All I really said was the Tormod went underground and caught one.

Tormod looked at Jake, but then he looked at his watch. "Oh boy, I gotta catch a third pokemon for the tournament!" he suddently exclaimed. He waved his hand at Jake, and walked out of the sandy cave. Torkoal and Vulpix followed him.

Tormod looked around, and walked towards a lake. He looked down in it. A Magikarp was swimming in the lake. Three Finneon and a Lumineon then appeared next to it. A couple of Wooper's were playing around at the creek near a Swanna, and an Aipom was hanging from a tree nearby. It was peaceful. Tormod smiled, then looked at the mountain. "There sure are some rare pokemon up there" he said, smiling. Then, Tormod ran away from the lake and up the mountain, taking a different path.

He climbed all the way to the top, which by then, he was exhausted. He had had to return Torkoal because he collasped from climbing half-way through. He laid on a rock near the peak. "Boy, I'm bushed!" he said, looking at the sky. A huge flock of Tailow were flying near some tree's, and a Gliscor glided from the wind blowing. Then, he got up. Vulpix looked at him. "Break's over, we gotta find some more pokemon!" he said, looking around. He took a step towards the peak, but his foot fell through some small pebbles laying in the ground. He started to fall, but Vulpix bit his arm. Tormod moved his other hand on the ground, and pulled himself out of the hole. He thanked Vulpix, then called out Torkoal. "Alright, I think it's a secret passage! Maybe I can find something in there!" he said, and he looked through the hole. He could see some rocks underneath it. He looked at Vulpix and Torkoal. Vulpix nodded, but Torkoal started to hide in his shell. He sighed. He walked up to Torkoal. "Torkoal, we gotta! We have to work on your fears and overcome them! Now, do you wanna come?" he said. Torkoal looked up at him, then said "Tork" uneasily. He turned around and jumped into the tunnel.

Tormod landed in some rocks underneath. He saw a few Trapinch's, Digletts, and Dugtrio's moving through and digging through the dirt. Vulpix then landed on his stomach, and Torkoal then landed near them. "I got it! This must be an underground home for the Ground-Pokemon!" he said, looking around. It was really dark, and it was hard to see stuff. "Vulpix, use Will-O-Wisp!" he said. Vulpix emitted a ring of fire around her, so he could see around the underground. He looked around, and saw a few holes going downward. "Vulpix, Torkoal, let's go!" he said, running down the hole/stairs. Torkoal and Vulpix ran after him.

After a while, they still hadn't stopped going down. Then, they hit a stop, and looked around. It was a dark room, and a single Hitomoshi stood there. "Looks like this hole we took only lead us here. We must be at ground-level by now. And hello there, I'm Tormod, and these are my two pokemon" he said. Hitomoshi floated near him, then aimed his candle at him. Then, she said, "Hito!". He looked at her, and he knew what it was about. "You wanna battle? You must be kinda lonely undergrund. Alright, let's do it! Torkoal, go! Use Smokescreen!" he said, jumping back with Vulpix. Torkoal spun, sending smoke towards him and Hitomoshi. Hitomoshi then used Will-O-Wisp, so he could clearly see Torkoal. Then, she aimed her candle at Torkoal and emitted fire at Torkoal. "Torkoal, use Withdraw!" he said. Torkoal spun around in his shell, blocking the attack. Then, Torkoal jumped at Hitomoshi and used Body Slam. It went right through her. "Normal attacks don't affect Ghost types. Torkoal, use Flamethrower!" he said, and Torkoal emitted the fiery breath that aimed for Hitomoshi. Hitomoshi took the attack. hen, withought any flinching, she used Evil Eye and sen out a giant, scary eye at Torkoal. Then, it turned into a shadowy ball and went towards Torkoal. "Withdraw!" he quickly said, and Torkoal went into his shell, but was knocked back. Torkoal looked at Hitomoshi, and became enraged, unlike his kind nature. He sent out a huge gush of fire and aimed it for Hitomoshi. It engulged her. "That's Lava Plume...Good work, Torkoal!" he said. Hitomoshi hot the ground, and he threw a pokeball, catching the Hitomoshi. "Good work!" he said, then looked around. He saw another tunnel leading forward. The three of them ran through the tunnel, and reached the outside of the mountain. He smiled and walked back to Pokemon Academy.

Azura smiled. "A Pokemon Tourney hey?" she laughed. "Piece of cake!" She giggled. Walking back to the school, and wandering for a bit, she found what she needed. A PC. She poked a few buttons and someones face popped up. A pale face framed with red, bouncy curls. "Yes Azura?" The girl asked. "Melody, I'll be needing my Elites here." The girl looked puzzled. Azura sighed. "Mel, remember? The Elite team...." Melody nodded, suddenly understanding. "I'll send their Pokeballs over right away! Any particular reason for this?" Azura grinned. "Nothing much. Just a Pokemon Tournament over here at Pokea Academy. Apparently you need three or more Pokemon. And Obscurite isn't up for fighting two Pokemon in one day." Melody nodded again. "Any Pokemon in particular? Or do you want all 5?" Azura considered it for a moment before answering. "All five, if you please Melody." Melody raised an eyebrow. "But-"
"Melody, Hikari came down with me, and he was defeated by a..... I dunno.... TEN year old, give a few years perhaps. There is tough competition here. Indeed, the tournament isn't as important as versing the 4 gyms or the Elite 4, but I enjoy battles like these. And the more Pokemon, the merrier."
Melody nodded, and the screen went blank. Moments later, 5 Pokeballs showed on the screen. Pressing a few buttons, they popped out of the PC. Azura smiled. "All right! I'm all set!"

(OOC: BTW, I'm not entering Ashmin in the tourney. Simply because I can't be stuffed for her to catch 2 Pokemon. Besides, Metoerite is too young to do something like that. It's only... what..... level 7 or something...)

Luke Pulled out of the forest on the stolen bike. He dropped the bike and sent out Baltoy, A.K.A. Floaty, and walked up to the Academy. Luke saw the posters posted all around the school for a Pokemon Tourney on the way to the pricipal's office.
"We could when that tourney easily, coudn't we Floaty?" But when he turned around, Floaty was no-where to be seen. He looked around restlessy until he heard a sound:
"Toy!" The pokemon laughed. Luke looked up and saw Floaty floating above his head. Floaty is such a joker, Luke thought and smiled.
"Floaty get down from there!" He said still smiling. He had gotten Floaty when his Dad was arrested.
"Take the two Pokeballs on my desk! They were your Mother's!" His Mom had died a year before his dad was arrested. He went into the principal's office andasked for his schedule.

But found no-one.
"I wonder where everyone is?" Luke wondered outloud.
"Foaty, go up and find everyone!" Floaty flew up and came back down to report to Luke
"Bal-Bal-Bal-Bal, Baltoy!" Floaty said, feeling very proud of himself.
"O.K., let's go to the free period!" He ran down the halls and went outside. He had known that there was a town near by, and that he got his first 10 pokeballs for free. He Ran over ti the 'Mart and got himself 10 Pokeballls. He decided he would look in the more high part of the mountain and look there for pokemon. He bought some Potions, ready to set of.

Alex was flying high through the air on Drago, the wind blowing his hair back. He never felt so alive. But then, he saw a helicopter. And who else was driving it? None other than Hikari! At that moment ,he grinned. "HIKARI!" He yelled. Hikari waved. Just then, two streams of red light nearly struck the helicopter. Alex looked down and saw a Vibrava and a Kingdra. He motioned to Hikari to wait there, and he then flew down to stop them. "Go, Gabby and Sandra!" He yelled. A gabite appeared alongside a Dratini. "Gabby, Dragon Rush, Sandra, Dragon Pulse!" He yelled. They both focused in on the Kingdra. Gabby struck the Kingdra repeatedly, and Sandra launched a orb of purple energy at the Kingdra. Only the dragon rush hit. Then, Alex threw a Pokeball. It caught the kingdra, and returned to Alex. "Now for the Vibrava, and I'll name the Kingdra Yin. Gabby, Sandra, return! Go, Yin!" The other two pokemon disappeared and out came the Kingdra. "Yin, octazooka!" He yelled. "Kiiiiiiing..." It yelled. "DRAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" It let loose a large water blast, hitting Vibrava and forcing it down. Alex threw a Pokeball and caught it. "Heh. Nabbed two today..." He murmered. He flew over to Hikari's chopper. "Yooooooo!" He said. "Nice job little bro! How many does that make for today?" "Five." "Ooh... beat me by one!" Hikari smiled. "Well anyway..." Said Alex. "What are you doing here?" "I'm here for the tourney." "What tourney?" Asked a bewildered Alex. "You didn't know?" "Nope." The fuel gauge beeped. "Well anyway, i gotta land. See ya later!"

As Luke began to treck up the mountain, something caught his eye, there was a tm, sitting ther, out in the open! Luke ran over and picked it up, looking at what move it was.
" Oh, good, I think Floaty can learn Dig! Well, let's find out! Come here Floaty!" The Pokemon flew over to Luke and sat. waiting to be taught the new move. Luke taught Floaty the new move, and continued to treck up the mountain. When he reached the top, it was covered with snow. Luke, out of the corner of his eye, saw a Snover
"Floaty! Use Mud Slap!" Floaty fired mud at the Snover, but he snover used Ice Shard to destroy the mud and the Ice Shards kept on coming
"Use Rapid Spin to fire them back at hikm! Then keep on going and hit him with Rapid Spin!" The Ice shards rapped around Floaty and fired themselves at the Snover, and hit him hard. Then, The Baltoy Hit the Snover with Rapid Spin, Damageing heavely.
"Go! Pokeball!" Luke through the ball at the Snover. It sucked the Snover in and clicked 3 times.
"Yes! I have 3 Pokemon for the Tourney now! I'll name you Frost!" Luke said, looking at the Pokeball, and not his footing. He tripped and then began to fall, but caught himself. luke let out Snover And told it to help him up. Frost helped him up and Luke then knew that Frost liked him.

(ooc: no they don't ultima.)<br><br>Alex stood in the Pokemon Selection Center to figure out which Pokemon he should use. "Hmm... I better take Drago... and maybe Yang (The Vibrava)... hmm... i think i'll go catch a new Pokemon... or two." As he said that, a voice came over the intercom. "Attention students: you have up to 10 minutes to finish choosing your Pokemon. Please do it ASAP." "Dammit." Alex murmured. He flew out of the building and ran toward the ocean. "Go, Drago!" He yelled. He hopped on his Dragonite and went to look for Pokemon. He was flying high over the air and saw, of all things, an Aerodactyl. "AEEROOOOO!" It yelled. Alex prepared a Pokeball. "Go, YIN! Yin, Octazooka!" He yelled. Yin blew out a large watery blast, but Aerodactyl dodged. It let out a hyper beam, and it struck Yin. "Yin!" Alex yelled. Yin got back up, and fired another blast. "Kiiiiiiing... DRAAAAAAA!" It blasted The Aerodactyl with a Hydro Pump. The Aerodactyl screamed in agony, and Alex then thought. "Yin, hit it again!" Yin blasted it yet again. This time, it dodged. "Yin, smokescreen then Hydro Pump!" Yin launched smoke at the Aerodactyl, and then hit it again with Hydro Pump. It started plunging toward the ocean. "Drago, go down lower so i can catch it!" Drago nodded, and flew downward. Alex threw a Pokeball, but it missed. He threw another, and it hit the Aerodactyl. It broke out, however. Alex threw another, and caught it. Drago flew under the Pokeball, and Alex grabbed it. "Yeah. I got an Aerodactyl! I think i'll call him... Jackie." After that, Alex flew off toward an old abandoned building on the island. "I heard there are ghost types there..." He murmured. Just then, however, he saw a Happiny. "Happiny... Happiny... Happiny..." It chanted. He flew down toward it. He went over to the Happiny, and it looked at him. "Hap? Hap, Happiny?" It murmured. "Hap? Hap, Hap, Happiny?" Alex said back to it. You may ask what he was doing. Well, he had a little too much coffee this morning and was trying to talk to the Happiny. He grinned. "Drago, Fire Punch!" Drago surprised Happiny, and he struck it. "Now, Thunderpunch!" He yelled. another punch. This time, it was knocked out. Alex threw his Pokeball, and caught it. "I'll call you... Espio." And Alex had then chosen his Pokemon, and returned to pick them up.

A distant call reached the mountain.
"10 Minutes to make your selections!"
"10 minutes! How am I supposed to do that?!" Then Luke remembered something. Floaty knew teleport, but it only had 1 PP left.
"It's worth it! Floaty, use teleport to get us to the regestration area!" The Baltoy teleported him to The regestration area.
"Hello, I would like to regestir my Pokemon for the tourney. I have One Carvahna (OOC: That was the other Pokeball on his dad's desk), One Baltoy, and One Snover. When does it start?" Luke said/asked.

"Alright, I'm Beat. I'm gonna run over to the dorm to report to Them" Luke said. Making sure there was no-one around. He walked Around, looking for a Map to the dorms, until he found one.
"There we are. There are all the dorms!" He said, before realising Snover for company. He walks in front of the Gray dorm, not knowing if it was his or not.

Alex ran to his room in the White Dorm and hopped on his PC. He got on a video chat with his mom. "Yo, mom!" He yelled. "Alex! So good to see you! How's the academy going?" "Pretty good. But i need you to go get Jackie and send him to me." "Sure thing. Bye, Alex." He turned off the computer and went to the port receiver. In an instant, Jackie's Pokeball was there. "Heh... now I'm ready." He went to wait out bye the Grey dorm, as told in the challenge letter, and there he waited. "Hmm..." He murmured. "Gotta think up a strategy... I know he uses mostly ghost and dark types... so..." He began thinking. "Uh-huh... yep... Okay, thanks, Hikari." He shut his cell phone. "Yep. See ya later. Bye." Hikari called him pretty often, and this time, he really needed help with a strategy, Alex did. "Well, at least he didn't try to prank call me in the middle of the night." Alex muttered. A while later, he got bored. "I think i might go back."<br>

He passes it by, thinking it wasn't his. He then walks into the White Dorm and knocks on a random door (Sonic Paladin's) And sits there and waits for a while thinking about battle stratagies.

"Hey Frost! What if you.... Naw...."
"How bout... Nope."
"I got IT!" Luke said, whispering in Frost's ear the plan

OOC: Yes, I'm admiting a part of my plan. But, your character shouldn't know my plan so far.

Tormod walked up into the registration area for the tournament. There were a lot of trainers, wanting to participate, Tormod smiled. He walked through the trainers, whisking them away until he reached the lady wo worked the registeration. He said, "I'm Tormod Soly, user of Fire-Types. I'd like to enter" he said, writing his name down, and showing her his three pokemon: Vulpix, Torkoal, and Hitomoshi. The lady nodded to him. He had registered! He thanked her and walked out of the area, and looked around. "Guess I'd better train" he thought, and he ran out of the academy towards the village.

After a whie, he reached it. He looked at Hitomoshi and Torkoal. "Alright, so when we battle, I want the three of you to focus on one statistic. "Hitomoshi, I want you to utalize both your Fire and Ghost ability's. Try avoiding others attacks, and destroy them with your attacks! We'll practice with your Evil Eye and Ember ! Focus on Offense!" he said to Hitomoshi. Then, he turned to Torkoal, "Torkoal, I want you to try and withstand eney's attacks with your shell. Suck up your enemy's attacks so they'll get tired. We'll practice with your Withdraw and Body Slam! Focus on Defense!" he said to Torkoal. Then, he turned to Vulpix. "Vulpix, your speed outmatches both Torkoal and Hitomoshi, so you need to avoid attacks and attack when neccisary. Just dodge any attacks thrown, and when it's right, attack! We'll work on your Quick Attack and Flamethrower! Focus on Evasion!" he said to Vulpix. Then, he stood up and looked at the three of them. "Since Hitomoshi is the most inexpierenced here, I'll help you first" he said, smiling to Hitomoshi.

Alex returned, and saw Luke sitting there. "So this is where you've been, eh? Well, anyway, let's get this party started!" He said.
They ran out onto the battlefield.
Alex, quickly looking over his strategy notes, chose a good pokemon for this match.
"GO, Jackie!" He yelled. An Aerodactyl appeared. "You ready, Luke?" (Que ultima)

"OK! Go, Frost. Use Ice Shard, Then Wood Hammer to fire them at the areodactyl!" Luke yelled. Frost made a Cloud of Shards and then hit Them with wood hammer. The Shards flew in a wide shot, with plinters amongst the various Shards.
"Good Job Frost!"

[Squidward Tentacles]

Jackie, fly around to get out of the way! Next, double team!" Jackie copied itself. "Now, Jackie... break up some of the Ice shards with Aerial Ace!" Three of the clones hit the ice shards, and they were broke up. "Jackie..." Alex said.
"Aeroooo!" It replied. "Flamethrower!" Jackie launched a huge blast of fire toward Snover.

Silver checked his schedule and realised he had a free period, he then said to his Eevee,
[b]"Great i have a free period, should we catch some pokemon Eevee?"[/b] Eevee gave a little nod, Silver checked the map of the region to see where the nearest forest was he found out that the nearest forest was close by, only problem was he didn't have any pokeballs on him at that moment so he decided to go to his room to check his bag, before he ransacked his room he thought to himself,
[b]"Ok, now where did i put my supplies back with the important items?"[/b] He couldn't remember where his supplies back was, but Eevee could smell the pokemon food inside, then Silver remembered where he put it and followed his Eevee to his wardrobe
[b]"Now there it is thanks Eevee."[/b] Silver rubbed Eevee's head then he said
[b]"Pokeballs check, Pokemon food check, ok Eevee let's go."[/b] So Silver and Eevee decided to head for the nearest forest.

The Ice Shards were destroyed, but now, the splinters were on fire, and flying in a wider shot! "Frost, use Mist, then jump to the right, while yyou use Razor Leaf in any direction!" Luke said to Frost. Frost then made a huge cloud of mist (Which is water vapor!), jumped to the right, and started shooting sharp leafs everywhere, hitting a few copies and some flying towards the real thing. (Remember, you can't see anything!)

When Silver got to the forest he needed to find some way to catch a pokemon, he though to himself
[b]"Ok we need to set a trap, but what, oh i know pokemon food."[/b] Silver reached into his bag and found some pokemon food and laid it in the middle of the forest, he then hid behind a tree. A little while later a Wurmple comes down from the tree to eat the food, Silver looked round then he sent out Eevee to fight the Wurmple.
[b]"Ok, Eevee use tackle attack."[/b] Eevee then charged at the Wurmple, but before it hit the nearby Dustox comes out and uses Psybeam on the Eevee, and went back to the tree. The Wurmple then went back up the tree, Silver then said to himself,
[b]"Rats, stupid Dustox getting in the way, now i need to heal Eevee."[/b] Silver healed his Eevee, and decided to leave more bait out. A long hour later another Wurmple came out, but this time out of the bushes
[b]"Eevee tackle![/b] This time the tackle attack hit the Wurmple, the Wurmple then proceeded to use String shot which enveloped around Eevee. Silver needed to find a way to hit Wurmple without physical contact, he then Said to his Eevee
[b]"Eevee shadow ball!"[/b] Instead of it coming out within 2 seconds it took longer because Eevee was trapped in the string shot. The shadow ball hit the Wurmple and then it fainted, Silver checked his pokedex to see what it can do, but instead of capturing it, he let it go, Eevee looked confused, though Silver thought that the Wurmple didn't have potential, and decided it needed to be back with it's own kind, then the bush nearest the clearing rustled...
