Pokemon Academy 2.0 (Started/Accepting Now! o.0)

Lawson turned around at the young man.

[b]"My name's Lawson, heh and this is my Pokemon Craogunk."[/b] Pointing down at Croagunk. His Pokemon then puffed up its chest as if it were tough and let out it's battle cry. [b]"Don't mind him haha. Nice to meet you, class is about to start pretty soon though. Where you headed? My first class is Pokemon History/Mythology. Maybe we can walk there?"[/b]

Lawson stood there as he waited for a reply from him. But before he looked down to see Croagunk closely examining the Cyndaquil he discovered. And I emphasize on the word closely. Put it this way, he was "straight up in his business." But the Cyndaquil didn't seem to mind. Lawson shook his head, let out a soft laugh, and looked back up.

-MEANWHILE-

Finishing up going over the lesson plans for the day, Mr. Linpor then starts to set up his slideshow he will present on the overhead projector. He previews the slideshow and finds some stuff he should add in. He adds it in, and previews it again. The first few pictures are images of Pokemon the students in the classroom have never seen. And seeing the looks on their faces before class started made him think, [i]Nice, THIS is what I'm going to start with. It's perfect.[/i] He then shut off the projector, pulled up the canvas in front of the board, and sat down and watched as the class populated with young students.

Ashmin watched the half-brawl on the side lines, and shook her head. "Some boys are so stupid." She muttered silently, as to not attract any unwanted attention to her, or get ounched in the face. She went to walk back into class, when her phone gave of an agitated ring. She slapped her forehead, and whipped out the phone. "Who is it and what do you want!" She nearly yelled.
"Ashmin, get your @$$ over to the offi....."
"Oh shut your yap Boss. I'm not in the Sinnoh anymore, remember? And if this is all you came to tell me, I got news for you."
"What news?"
"I'm busy. Bye!" Ashmin hung up angrily, and slammed the phone into her pocket. "No more distractions." She muttered, walking back into the clasroom and sitting down.

[color="#FF0000"]Tormod watched the battle, smiling the entire time. The kid with the Cyndaquil had some spunk, and he liked that. He looked at his watch. "Wow, alomst time for class!" said Tormod, and he and Vulpix ran through the hallways. "Hey Vulpix, do you know where to get a Fire Stone?" he asked. "Vullll" she said, closing her eyes. "I didn't think so..." he said. With a Fire Stone, his Vulpix could evolve into a Ninetails. Ninetails had much more power than Vulpix. That would show the dude who said the insult about the Fire-Type. Fire was pretty rare, and that makes sense. Because of this, there a powerful type. Sure they may not last THAT long on the battlefied, but there good offensive capabilitys make them an awesome type. For him, only Fire-Type pokemon were good, the others were either decent or terrible. "Vullll!!!" said Vulpix, and he noticed that he was standing in front of his class. He stepped in. [/color]

[color="#0000FF"]Mr. Largill walked through his icy classroom. His bue scarf was on tight, and his parka was keeping him warm. His Dewgong was laying peacefully in his rubber pool in the corner, and Glaceon was running around Glalie in the rows of desks, and Glaile couldnt keep up. Mamoswine was napping in the front of the room. It was a strange classroom, and he knew that some teachers may complain. However, he needed to keep the plac cold, as he had a special treat for the class, and would soon be a "Project" for them that could be both fun and educational. He walked into his desk, and waited for the first few classes to be over so that the students would come here. [/color]

As Silver was walking through the elegant hallways of the academy on his way to his History/Mythology lesson, a fancy painting caught his eye. It was a picture of Dialga and Palkia, Silver said to himself...
[b]"Awesome, so these are what are known as......."[/b](Checks Handbook)
[b]"Oh yes, Legendary Pokemon, the paintings say Dialga and...... Palkia, Hey Eevee should we stop lounging around and get to our class?"[/b]
Eevee nodded and as Silver was walking down the hallways, he saw a note, but instead of reading it Silver left it alone.

A little bit later, Silver arrived at the classroom where his lesson was taking place, and then he took a seat with his Eevee.....

Mr. Linpor started his class. He leans forward at his desk and begins to speak.

[b]"Hello everybody, my name is Mr. Linpor and I will teach you all you need to know about the history and mythology about Pokemon. Since we're all new here, I guess we should go around and get to know one another. I'll start so you guys can get an idea.."[/b]

He stands up and starts walking around the room.

[b]"Well to start, my name is Jeremy Collins and I'm 26. I was not born in this region but in the Kanto region in Saffron City. I was then adopted at the age of 5 by the Linpor's and then moved to the Jhoto region where I grew up in Cianwood City, It's a little island about south of Olivine if anyone wanted to know.. I was given an Eevee by father at the age of 15 to help pursue my dream and becoming League Champion. My Eevee had evolved at the time, into an Espeon. And throughout the region it was just me and him and no one else. I had gotten the 8 required badges and was on my way to the Indigo Plateau in Kanto for the challenge. But when I got there I started to have second thoughts. I didn't have the interest as when I first went off on the journey, but instead had the interest to travel to the different regions around the world and study all types of Pokemon and the history that links them together. To further my studies, I then went to college and got my teaching certificate. And since then, I wanted to share the knowledge I have with everyone so I went and applied for the open history position here at Pokemon Acadamy."[/b]

Finishing his lap around the classroom he sat back down and pointed to the nearest student.

[b]"Alright now, starting with you let's go around the room."[/b]

Ashmin, being in the front row, went first.
"Well, I'm Ashmin Faretuyo, and I'm 10 years old. I was born, and raised, in the Sinnoh Region, in Twin Leaf Town. I'm the daughter of a rich Pokemon Doctor. At the age of 8, I joined a local group, known as the PJVG, or the Pokemon Junior Volunteer Group. They recruit youngs kids, and those people go all over the region they are based in. In a way, we are a mobile Pokemon Centre. I travelled the entire region, helping injured wild Pokemon. Then, on my 10th birthday, not all that long ago, my dad went to Professor Rowan and got me a Charmander. When my group found out, the boss told my dad that I should quit the group, and go to this Academy, to 'teach me new skills for the real world'. Personally, I reckon Boss just did that to get rid of me, even if I am ranked highest on the ladder besides her. Let's just say she hates me for it. Anyway, my dad agreed, so now I'm here. But I'm still part of the PJVG, a special branch in the Saban Region. But, due to my Pokemon Academy Student status, I'm only meant to go to real emergencies, like a mass pokemon injury site."
Believing that to be enough info, she sat back down.

[color="#FF0000"]Tormod then went second. "I'm Tormod Soly. I used to live on Cinnabar Island. I was a good rock climber, so I often climbed the volcano there. My family used Fire-Type Pokemon, and I wanted to have a Fire-type team too. I grew up thinking that Fire is the best type, and I still think that. Remember, that's an opinion" he quickly said after remembering the incident at the hallways. "Anyway, one day I was climbing, and I had soon climbed to the top of the volcano. That was a great accomplishment, but soon, I saw something on the ground. It was an injured Vulpix, laying on the rocks heavily bruised. I couldn't leave her, so I picked her up and started to climb downward. I got her to some doctors, and they let me keep her when she was better. Vulpix soon became the family pet." he said, and he held up the pokeball that Vulpix was in. "Years later, my local school had closed because of the economy and budgets or something like that. My parents send me here to get a good education, and of course, I couldnt leave Vulpix." he said, sitting down in his seat.[/color]

Jake went third. "Uh well sir my name is Jake,Waddle. I like you am not native to this region. I'm 13 and I come from the Fiore region. I was probably the only person who liked pokemon battles in my village heh. Everyone else liked the pokemon rangers. I live in Ringtown. I got an application for this academy the same time I officially caught my Cyndaquil, Explo." "Quil" "At 12 I met my Cyndaquil and had to keep him away from poaches and other people. once I turned 13 I was given a pokeball as a present and I used it to catch my Cyndaquil. Professor Hastings was at my party as well and gave me an application to this academy and well that's a summarized version of my Bio."

Zane ignored the boy, instead sighing, moving to lean against the back wall.
"We will start now," Kelsier rose his voice, he knew Zane couldn't stand the kid no longer and so wanted to gain their attention, "This class is for Pokemon Types, and attacks. As you all probaly know the starter pokemon for every region are either types of; grass, water, or fire. Grass is weak against fire, fire is weak against water, and water is weak against grass."
Zane nodded thankfully at his father, who nodded back. [i]He needs to do that more often.[i] Zane thought, [i]Might save me murdering someone.[/i] Zane smiled to himself briefly.
"Who knows any other pokemon types?" Kelsier asked, standing up, "And what they are weak and strong against."

[color="#808000"]"There's Bug, which is good against Grass, Psychic, and Dark. Then Dragon, which is only good against Dragon, and there's...Do you want me to tell you all of them?"[/color]
[color="#808000"]Meraruba looked up at Alex, admiring his intellect. Meraruba was always happy to hear his master speak. His horns started glow red, and flames formed on the tips. Meraruba quickly extinguished these flames, then shot a String shot at the cieling, which it climbed on until it was crawling upside-down over everyone's heads.[/color]
[color="#808000"]Suddenly, he fell, and landed on top of the desk of the student who had gotten mad at Alex before. Meraruba quickly backpedaled and fell off the desk, landing on his back and knocking himself out.[/color]
[color="#808000"]"Meraruba...Listen, I'm sorry, he's just...He doesn't have good control over his emotions, I'm sorry. I'm trying to teach him..."[/color]
[color="#808000"]Alex picked up Meraruba and hand-fed him a Revive, restoring his consciousness.[/color]

Lawson spoke.

[b]"My name is Lawson Ulric. I was born and raised in the Hoenn region. In probably the smallest city ever, called Odale town. My father was one of the top scientists in Hoenn. And with him dealing with all of the poison's and medicines, and teaching me about them, I developed an interest in Poison-type's. Whenever I got stressed I took frequent trips to Petalburg Woods for relaxation. Then one day I found a little Croagunk walking around. Being surprised since they never appear there, I brought it back to my father who asked me where I got it. I told him the story and he father replied by saying he didn't want to take the time to return it to the owner and since it has a strong enough bond with me, so I was able to keep the Croagunk for myself. A few months ago I wanted to join the race to become Pokemon League Champion in Hoenn, I decided to face the Petalburg gym thinking that I was ready. Bad idea let me tell you. So after the loss I heard word of Pokemon Acadamy. I then signed up and here I am today!"[/b]

[b]"Good, good. Now that we know each other, I think it's time to start class. First let's go over the most important rule of this class. One person speaks at a time. And I take that rule seriously. Next, I don't mind horsing around and jokes and having fun. But that stuff is before and after class. When it starts I expect your undivided attention please."[/b]

Mr. Linpor then gets up from his desk and takes a few steps to the side.

[b]"Now then, can anybody tell me how you think the universe came to be? You can be specific as you want. One at a time though!"[/b]

As he seen a few hands raised up he continued to call on one.

[b]"Yes?"[/b]

Ashmin raised her hand then answered quickly. "Well, correct me if I'm wrong, I believe that Arceus, the Legendary Pokemon from Sinnoh Legend created the universe. The legend proclaims that when he was born, the universe was created. It then proceeded to create the alternate dimensions, such as ours, the dimensions of Dialga and Palkia, and of course the Reverse World, home of Giratina. Though, of course, since no human was alive when the universe was created, nobody can be perfectly sure it was Arceus, but that's what I beleive." Meteorite looked up at her owner adoringly, admiring her quick, usually corret, respones to questions asked. "Charmander!" It whispered, hugging Ashmin's leg.

[b]"Well well, seems like we have a winner! Yes you are indeed correct. Now there are many stories and legends surrounding the history of the Pokémon world as it is known to us today. Nobody knows if such legends are true or not. However, I have found some clues and proof that the legends may indeed be true. Now to be more specific on the topic, in a vortex of complete chaos and nothingness, a single egg comes into being as Arceus hatches from it."[/b]

Mr. Linpor turns on his overhead projector and shows a picture of Arceus.

[b]"That is the first Pokémon in existence. Arceus then creates 3 Pokemon and gives them a different power of their own to control, and to help with the creation of the world."[/b]

And so due to his destructive nature, he was sent to live inside the Reverse World, or in other words the Distortion World. A world that was said to be created by Giratina as a balance to the real world. As it supposedly defy's the laws of physics. There are some myths that you can access the Distortion World from 2 places. On top of Mt. Coronet where the Sky PIllar is, or inside of Turnback Cave. And so Dialga and Palkia had succeeded in creating the universe and the world of Pokemon. No one has seen them since it says that they retreated into their own dimensions soon afterwards, but! An access point to where people have 'claimed' to see them is on top of Sky Pillar. Though no one has visible proof, it remains a legend. Now, those weren't his only 'Guardian's' that roamed the earth."[/b]

He changed the slide to a little Pokemon that had a long tail behind it.

[b]"Arceus then created 3 other Pokemon with the ability to give living things that came into existance certain abilities."[/b]

He pointed at the screen.

[b]"The 3 Pokemon are Uxie guardian of knowledge."[/b]

Tormod raised his hand, then gave his question. [b]"Mr. Linpor, I have a question. I've heard something back at Cinnnabar Island. I heard that you could summon Arceus by playing a special flute, called the Azure Flute. Is that true?"[/b] asked Tormod. Vulpix climbed into his arms.[b]"If you walk to the top of Mt. Coronet and play this Azure Flute, a staircase would appear. You would clmb it and reach the "Hall of Origin". Arceus woud be at this Hall of Origin, right?[/b]" asked Tormod. He wondered what would happen if you caught Arceus. The world may explode, or maybe it would dissolve back into nothingness. Tormod looked at Mr. Linpor again.

Meanwhile, in the hallways...

Mr. Largill walked around the halls, as he finished his lesson plan.. His Glaceon walked with him, as Dewgong couldnt walk on land, and Mamoswine and Glacie were sleeping. "I wonder how some of the other students were doing..." he thought to himself. He walked into the staff room, and settled down in a red chair. He stroked his Glaceon. [b]"Glace!"[/b] she said joyfully. He feed her a sweet poffin, and she purred. He turned on the T.V., and started to watch.

Silver's hand shot up, and decided to speak
[b]"Hi, i'm Silver and this is my partner Eevee. I come from New bark Town in the Johto region and i've been raised by my grandparents since my parents was involved in a violent conflict whilst on holiday. As for my league status, i tried out at the violet gym but i failed miserably, but i was alright with the result since i had the 1 pokemon on me. I decided to come to the academy because i wanted to learn more about pokemon so i can become stronger on the inside as well as on the outside."[/b]

then Silver ominously wanted to ask a question

[b]"i have a couple of questions, i heard a legend from my grandfather saying that in ancient times that arceus had destroyed a meteor that had threatened earth, and in the process it lost the 16 life plates needed for it to stay alive, and that 1 single man... i can't remember the name though was determined to return all of arceus' plates, is this true?"
"Also, i heard another legend when i was in Cherrygrove city, that in the ilex forest it said that a celebi resides in the shrine, is that true?"[/b]

[Mr Dr Professor Spaz]

After flying over the Saban Region at least 20 times, Anderson began to get impatient. [i]This is getting annoying, good thing I packed a parachute.[/i] he thought. "That's it, I'm getting out of here." shouted Anderson. He then opened a window and put on his parachute. "I'm going to my destination, even if I have to jump out of this plane." he said, before he jumped, scaring a few onlookers. But the guy sitting next to him just shrugged and closed the window. Meanwhile, Anderson was falling from the plane. About 100 feet above the ground he pulled his parachute. [i]A perfect landing[/i] he thought.[i] Well, I might as well head to my dorm, everyone suspects that I'm going to arrive after class.[/i] With this he walked in the empty halls to his dorm room.

Jake's Hand rose up and Stood up. "Wait a second This seems fishy...if Palkia Lives in a warp in Space, Dialga lives in a warp in time, and Giratina Lives in a warp in Reality itself. Arceus must have a Dimension of it's own does it not? I mean it would be as if the CEO of a company gave an Extravagant office to three of his best workers...while all the CEO has is a crummy office. I believe Arceus itself has a Dimension of it's own. Larger than the Reverse World, Space World and Time World combined...the Alpha Dimension. The Alpha Dimension has the most effect on every other dimension For Example as Silver said Arceus appeared and Destroyed a Meteor that almost destroyed the world. It was saved by a man with the power to resonate with pokemon's feelings. Arceus wanted to gift the man and gave him "the Jewel of Life" to grant life to the surrounding land. Arceus had a Condition however that on the next Solar Eclipse it would return and Request the Jewel back...Apparently he was betrayed and Attacked. It is said Arceus Rests now healing his injuries waiting for REVENGE. Whoa...I don't know about you guys but I'm scared now..." Jake sat down.

Principal Hurry was a bit perturbed. "Ugh what little punk is messing up my school?" He walked up to Anderson Jumping out of his Window. "HEY! What's the big Idea? Clean up that...parachute. Did you just Skydive down here? Aianto! Castform! Oobemu! Hold him."

Ashmin looked at the others as they asked their questions and made statements. "Last I checked, Celebi DOES live in the Ilex Forest. To summon it, you need a Rainbow Wing and a Silver Wing, and combined they make an object, The GS ball I think? You place that ball on the shrine, and apparently Celebi appears.... Also, with the Arceus thing, he DID come down to Earth. He stopped a massive meteor from destroying Michina Town. The man, who's name I think wa Damos, saved him, and then Arceus made the Jewel of Life, using the Splash, Draco, Zap, Meadow and Stone plates to create it. Then, at the solar eclipse where Damos was meant to return the Jewel, he was hypnotised by Marcus in destroying Arceus. Luckily it didn't work. Long story short, Arceus got the Jewel back."
(OOC: This is where watching Arceus and the Jewel of Life comes in handy...hehe...)

Zane looked down to the bug/fire pokemon on the floor, eyes narrowing, as he released cyndaquil. In a way that he made sure that the kid knew he had his own strong pokemon.
"Is that thing hyper or something?" Zane asked quite angrilly.
Kelsier cleared his voice,
"Ahem. Please keep your pokemon from making the classroom sticky, we wouldn't want people getting stuck would we?"
He quietly told ditto to transform into a magmar,
"Ditto, use an ember to destroy that mess on the ceiling please."
"Marrrr." Ditto, in the form of a magmar, released a short burst of flame that incinerated the web on the ceiling.
"good." Kelsier thanked as ditto returned to its normal state, "Correct. Zane, would you like to tell me any more types?"

"Fire types. They are good against bug, ice, grass and steel. Fire types are weak against water." Zane said, ovisously trying to point out that fire are good against bug pokemon.
"Yes, very right." His father replied. "Would anyone else like to say any more types?"

[color="#808000"]"Sorry, everyone, he just gets excited easy......Meraruba, return."
"Ru..."
A crimson beam shot out of the ball that was now in Alex's hand, and it pulled Meraruba inside.
Alex then sat back and waited for everyone to be done shouting out answers and declaring which type was best.
As the commotion showed no signs of dying down, Alex began to doodle in his notebook, eventually making a picture of a Manectric battling a Spiritomb. Alex tore th page out and folded it into fourths before stuffing it into his pocket.
It was as he was turning back from this that he heard the large commotion from Indoor Stadium III, which was right near the classroom.

Virgil's Heracross shot into the air, his horn glowing a brilliant white. Then, Heracross began his descent, rocketing toward the Swampert at a breakneck pace, with white energy streaming behind him.
Heracross finally came into contact with the Mud Fish, driving it into the rock floor and causing a massive explosion. Needless to say, Swampert was knocked out.
"Hmph...It was hopeless from the beginning..."
The student would think twice next time he claimed he was better than Virgil, now that his entire team had been swept by Heracross.

Apparently, the commotion had drawn the attention of a few who weren't in classes at the moment. Virgil didn't care. He didn't care about most things nowadays.[/color]

Zane sat down, about to reply, but he wandered off in a daydream...

"Go Flare!" Zane said at the top of his voice, as cyndaquil emerged from a crimson flash.
"Come out meraruba!" Alex called, as meraruba also emerged from a crimson flash.
"Cyndaaaa!!" Cyndaquil growled,
"Merrrrruu!" Meraruba returned,
"Quillllll!!" Cyndaquil roared,
"Baaaaaaa!" Meraruba shot a stringshot, but Cyndaquil shot a small ember that incinerated the stringshot.
"Cyndaquil!" Zane commanded, "Bite! Then smokescreen!"
"Cyndaa-quillllll!" Cyndaquil bit into Meraruba, then as he was jumping back about to release a smokescreen, meraruba countered by tackling cyndaquil, causing him to fall backwards.
"Finish it off with a flame-" Alex was cut off as cyndaquil started glowing. Flare evolved.

"Flare, finish it!" Zane commanded,
"Quil....Quil.....LAAVAAAAA!!!" Quilava glowed a bright crimson, then an overwhelming blast of blazing hot flames washed over meraruba like a tsunami over a beach.
"Quilll." Quilava sighed as Zane recalled quilava...
*End Of Daydream*[/color]

Zane laughed at the daydream quietly, as he sat stroking flare.
"Quillll...." Cyndaquil rubbed his head against Zane as he sat on Zanes lap.
"Would anyone like to add to what has been said?" Kelsier repeated, "We currently have bug, dragon, and fire. Would anyone like to add to that? If not you will miss out and we will go straight to Training Arena 1"

Alex was worried about the explosion in the Arena near the classroom...He hoped nobody got hurt...
Alex then noticed the other kid chuckling, and realized, just as he was about to speak to him, he hadn't introduced himself.
"Hey, umm, 'scuse me, we met, but...we never formally introduced ourselves. My name is Alex, what's yours?"

Alex also took this opportunity to ask the teacher a question. "Umm, sir, excuse me, but...Where can we find wild Pokemon around here? Is there some special area here, or do we have to leave school grounds?"

[/color][color="#4b0082"]Virgil's Pendra, Heracross, and Sceptile stood steadfast against the Swanna's Hurricane onslaught. As it fininshed, they instinctively attacked. Pendra rolled into a ball for Hard Roller while simultaneously using Poison Tail, Sceptile fired off a flurr of Magical Leaves, and Heracross used Earthquake, launching Pendra into the air, allowing it to hit the Swanna, knocking it out. The leaves simply provided overkill and a dramatic flourish.
"You honestly have no hope if you ever wish to challenge the League...[/color]

Zane didn't like having attention, he was about to answer when his father spoke.
"Zane! Alex!" Kelsier rose, "Please call back your pokemon, we're going to Training Arena 1!"
"Return cyndaquil." Zane stood up, placing cyndaquil's pokeball in his belt.
"Ditto, transform." Kelsier held up a book with a picture of an Aggron on it. "Ok, class, follow me."
He turned, walking out the door, turning a corner, then walking through a set of double doors with a sign on them, 'Practaise Arena 1'.
Zane had followed, and when he got inside the arena he immediately released cyndaquil.
"Cyyndaa!" Cyndaquil appeared from a red flash of light.

"Agggrronnn!" Ditto was to follow at the back to make sure of no trouble. In the form of a ferocious Aggron.

[color="#808000"]As Alex walked along, he could feel Ditto/Aggron's thoughts ((OOC: He's at the back of the line.))
Ditto was thinking something along the lines of how powerful it could be like this, as an Aggron...It reveled at its own power, and couldn't wait to show all of the younger ones what they could be capable of.
Alex chuckled, and continued along until he got into the Arena. It was simple, with just a concrete floor and painted lines. He was never really sure why the lines were there, but now was not the time to ask.
He held Meraruba's pokeball, but didn't release him quite yet. He wanted to see what was going to happen next...So he sat down, legs crossed, eagerly awaiting Mr. Kelsier's instructions.[/color]

Ditto transformed into an aerodactyl,
"Dactylll!" Ditto started to fly around the arena with excitement.
"Ditto, take normal form." Mr. Silver(Kelsier) asked politely.
"Dit. oooo!" Ditto landed swiftly and transformed to its normal state.
[i]It must be great.[/i] Zane thought, [i]Being a pokemon able to take the form of any known pokemon, and being able to use moves of the pokemon it is imitating. It must feel it has total freedom, despite being an owned pokemon.[/i]
"Does anyone have any idea what we might be doing right now?" Kelsier asked.
