Yep, it's Mako vs myself in a brand new competition.

[spoiler=Read This!]

Rules: All YCM rules apply, no spamming, no flaming, no joke cards, etc.

Requirements: Make a card with the following requirements:

-Only one can be on the field at a time.-Negating effect.

-Reinforcing effect.

Time Limit: 1 Week or first to 4 votes

Prize: 1 Rep

Special Notice: This will be a Card A vs Card B format to make it fair

[spoiler=Card A]264408.jpg

You can only control 1 "Vulcan the Supreme Volcanic Entity". Once per turn you can discard 1 FIRE monster to negate the activation of a Spell or Trap Card and destroy it. This card gains 300 ATK for each FIRE monster in your Graveyard. During your opponent's Standby Phase you can remove from play 2 FIRE monsters in your Graveyard to destroy 1 card on the field.

[spoiler=Card B]258841le.jpg

FLIP: Choose 1 monster your opponent controls. Remove it from play. You can only control 1 "General Vorgfler". If a monster you control is chosen as an attack target, negate the attack, and switch the attack target to this monster. if this card is destroyed as a result of battle, Special Summon 1 monster from your Graveyard.

I assume GL = Good Luck, so I wish you good luck as well.

Its Good Luck, Have fun. Its used more in Starcraft II and the original than anywhere else.

I vote for card A. It is much more balanced, being a Level 10 with balanced stats. Seems a bit OP'ed, since it negates Spells and Traps (though with a cost), as well as using cards sent to the Graveyard by its own effect as fuel to destroy your opponent's cards with the last effect. However, aside from this, the effects all tie in together, raising its usability. Also, the OCG seems flawless to me.

Card B is just too OP'ed with a removal effect and stats that are too high with absolutely no drawbacks or costs. In addition, there are some OCG errors:

Choose = Select

Also, you don't put negate, because that negates the attack completely.

It should be:

If a monster you control is selected as an attack target, you can switch the attack target to this monster.

"as a result of battle" is the old OCG. The correct one currently is "by battle"

I vote for card A

I think card B is OP'ed since it has a removing from play effect and an attack redirecting effect that has no costs. Card A is more balanced since it's level 10 and has costs for effects
