DARKPLANT RISING
I was bored, and I got the idea, so I made it. As simple as that. Since I didn't edit, the description is bad, but plase take a look.
The man was looking at the newspapers in his living room when he heard a sound similar to that of a plane. But it was much louder. Having no military bases near his house, it can’t be the army’s fault. Can it be one of the adolescent groups near putting off a show of nuisance? Grumbling, he looked out of the window, the sun dazzling his eyes. These days, it was most likely cloudy with smog, and so the man wasn’t used to the strong light. He squinted. And saw a UFO flying through the sky. It was a saucer-shaped spaceship, with black metallic plates and blinking lights of all colors flashing around it. Its size was that of a truck on earth, but it flew through the air with the speed of a comet and disappeared out of sight of the man. The UFO had disappeared into the woods near the man’s house. It was one of the few left woods in the whole state. Ever since several decades ago, most nature had disappeared from earth, and factory smoke covered most of the atmosphere of the north side of the planet. But more importantly, it must be an invasion. Panicking, he called the police; after calling the wrong number three times due to the shock, he finally managed to complete it. Though many falters were included, he told all of what he saw to them. The police was at first puzzled and thought it was a fraud, but coming from the tone of shock in the man’s voice they concluded it was most likely true. Whether it was really an alien invasion or just a mistake, it was something worth going to. It was their job. When the man was frantically pacing around his room, mumbling to himself to calm his own terror, the police cars pulled up near his house. Half-staggering, he went in and headed for the site. He carried a gun just in case something happened. The police officers and the man arrived at a clearing inside the forest that used to be a park. In its center was the saucer. With the brutal landing of the UFO, most of its playground equipment had melted away into disgusting blobs of green and brown. The man was worried its heat would incinerate them too, but when the police officers flipped their high-tech tools into action, they told their master that the heat had already gone, and it was a temporal one that had happened due to the landing. As they watched, a hatch on the UFO opened, and three identical beings walked out. They were all short – three or four feet – and as plump as apples. Their body color was also a bloody crimson, and they had four eyes on its head that was small compared to that of a man. To the surprise of the watchers, the bodyline was similar to that of a man of the earth. They carried long things similar to spears, but the people of earth simply knew that they weren’t normal. The police officers raised hands and tried to talk in the friendliest way possible, but the aliens kept on walking in this direction on two fat legs. Then, they jutted out their spears menacingly. That was when, with fear coming to its most, the frantic man pulled out his gun and shot through the body of one of them. Exploding into yellow slime, with a screech of rage, the alien was instantly killed. His mates screeched back and turned towards the man. “What do you think you’ve done,” one of the police officers roared at the man who was now shedding tears of regret. “The aliens would consider us as enemies and start an all-out attack upon us. It’s your fault. Humans are done for.” The two left aliens kept on advancing, and tried to impale one of the officers. But he was wearing a protective vest, and it clanked off harmlessly. The alien looked with doubt at the head of its weapon, and screamed as the frenzied man once more shot his gun, ending its life. Before it can attack, the only one left was also shot through its head. All three aliens were killed by the man. Panting, sweating, cursing to himself, he shivered with fear and lament. Then, before the police officers can stop, he shot through his own heart, and fell to the ground in a heap. Thus, the alien invasion had ended, with only one death on the side of the humans. Despite the worries of the world, no more invasions occurred. Perhaps the aliens stopped their ideas, perhaps they had died out. No one on earth knew or cared. The only thing they cared was that they were safe. In fact, it gave earth a major plus. The scientists discovered that the UFO was extremely well done – very easy to control, and it can even travel through millions of light-years to a selected destination. It can even search out a planet similar to that of that of the user, and teleport itself over to there. To add, it was indestructible. Even nuclear energy can make a scratch on it. While it itself had no powers of offense, it was a giant discovery. The odd thing was, the seemingly normal spears the aliens had used were really normal spears. No matter how the scientist tried to use it, nothing particular was found. And the earth was dying, after all. Nature was dwindling, and the pyramid of life was crumbling apart so anyone can see it clear. The scientists decided to find a planet men can invade into so that they can once again inhabit a lovable world of wildlife. “With the powers of this UFO,” they said, “we can take over anything.” With that thought in their hearts, a team of trained soldiers and intelligent scientists were loaded in the UFO, carrying the strongest weapons men had created, and they teleported themselves to the nearest planet similar to earth. After appearing right next to its atmosphere, they plunged in. Burning up a patch of forest, they landed. They looked out the windows; it was a perfect replica of the old earth. Everything was so natural. A rain forest like that of former Amazon! Hearts beating, they stepped out, guns and bombs in hands. Then, instantly, a hundred arrows shot from nowhere and penetrated the bodies of all of them. The protective vests were completely useless. They fell to the ground, blood gushing from wounds, dazed and looking up at their attackers. They were the people of the planet. Green, skinny bodies. Three eyes each. Mumbling excitedly to each other, they landed to the ground from their treetop watchtowers and glanced at the UFO the men had came from. The men of earth didn’t study their language, but they could have a good guess: “With the powers of this UFO, we can take over anything.” Before they can warn the aliens of the dangers of overconfidence, the men of earth departed this world.
Also horray for 5800th post.
Well, ...yes. I only put 30 or so minutes into making it, so it's thin.
