The Pharaohs Descendents - Duel Academy [Ic-Accepting in the Ooc]

Shin finally got his stuff to his room and noticed that his power had gotten stronger than he thought. The Pupp ran around the room aimlessly. Shin sat on his bed and considered how long the Pupp had stayed around and how long his powers have gone without cutting out on him. The door was not closed and the Pupp ran out the door, it was following a smell. Shin Hopped up and followed the Pupp, locking the door behind him. The Pupp ran across the deck of the ship and down the ramp, it ran straight for Love and her paint. The Pupp Stoped a few feet short of the closest bucket of paint to it. It approached the bucket with caution before barking at it and backing away. It started getting closer again and pounced on it, the Pupp was just the right size to stand on it without doing any damage. Shin caught up to the Pupp and picked it up off the paint. "Sorry about that..." Shin said to Love. The Pupp barked at Love a few times with it's tails waving back and forth Playfully.

Kai stood on the hill a distance from the dock gazing at it. His white jacket waved in the wind. Kai already had his duel disk equipped and his Deck in place, he then began wlaking towards the dock. Upon approaching Kai made his way on the ship observing all the various duelists walking on, Kai smiled at his thought of dueling, his pastr was built all aroudn dueling he had grown up with it and lived it, there was nothign that was gonna stop him from acheiving his goals. Kai slowly walked up the ramp towards the ship looking at the distsant island. "Duel Academy" he though to himself as he looked briefly downa t his deck.

Kazuya watched as a girl that had just arrived had unloaded half of her stuff onto a boy with red hair as Kazuya walked along the edge of the wall towards the boarding ramp. "need help with those?" he asks while he place that traveller onto his duel coat, hidden from view, the traveller appearing behind him unseen, creating a hole in the floor when Kazuya muttered "sky deck" softly having heard her talking to the boy she unloaded her stuff onto him. The traveller then fell through the hole waiting for Kazuya to move through into it as well, Kazuya then walking down the ramp, into the light but his face was covered with the cloak as he quickly made his way down the ramp.

[Blood Yuchi]

Blood was about to board the ship when suddenly he heard a girl called out to him, followed by cans of paint. He manage to catch some of them, but what he didn’t notice is that there more cans than he had expected to be, plus easels and brushes. At that vey brief moment, Blood thought [i]What the hell? Couldn’t be any worse before I board this ship[/i]. There was a loud crashing sound, and Blood was below the heap of mess, fainted.

Shin frowned at his brother witch had some how ignored him. Shin walked back to his room and sat down, the Pupp followed him and decided to lay on the foot of his bed. He thought to himself as the Pupp looked at him, it's tails waving franticly for someone to play a game with it. Shin looked to the Pupp then had an Idea. He took out his little note-pad from his back pocket and ripped a piece of paper from it. He scribled a note on it, folded it and handing it to the Pupp. Shin commanded the Pupp to take the note to his brother. The Pupp took the note and raced through the door. It ran into Kazuya and Barked at him to get his attention, after Kazuya read the note, the Pupp poked his ankle with it's paw and ran back to Shin's room.

Kazuya started picking up the paint cans that had fell on top of the red haired boy while he moving around seeming impatient as the light of the sun still hit him. Kazuya then picked up the easels and brushes, noticing the boy had fainted "[i]well i guess I should just get this up on the boat then come back and bring him on before we leave[/i]". Kazuya then noticed Pupp, grabbing the note from the pupp as he put the stuff that the girl nearby had been carrying down on the inside of the boat. "[i]hm.. well i guess Absorbus should be able to keep him occupied while i help these two[/i]" he thinks to himself pulling out Absorbus and placing his card on the duel coat which was still hidden, Absorbus appearing in the shadows 2 doors down from Shin's room the light around him was drained away to pure darkness while he walked along towards shin's room. Kazuya then picked the paint cans easels and brushes back up looking at the girl, "I'll take these up to the sky deck for you" he says walking into the shadows out of view and falling into the hole the traveller made coming out of another hole that was on the sky deck placing the paint cans, easels and brushes down before walking back down the stairs.

Kai conmtinued to walk up the ramp averting his gaze fromt he distant island and changing to face the ship in front of him, upon walking on he walked passed several rooms, his white and black jacket waving int he wind, his white hair stood ona n angle, it had black shades through it, kai leaned onthe railing and looked out into the distant waters at the island not so far away, Kai took out his Deck and looked at one card in particular in it "Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Beginning" this was one of Kai's signature cards, he cherished this card he believed it was one of the two "Transcendent attributes" when he was little his fatehr told him of 2 cards taht served both Light and Darkness for their power, Kai had been givent his card by his father who himself didn't believe it was one of the 2, however kai believes it is.

ooc: it's how the Traveller travels through Space and/or Dimensions (he can't travel through time yet only the fusion version of him can xD)

IC: "Traveller" Kazuya says quietly as the hole on the sky deck closes and the traveller walks down near him, Kazuya then tapping traveller's arm lightly, "go keep shin busy.. I need to make sure everyone gets aboard alright before ill be over to his room" he says only loud enough for the traveller to hear him. The traveller then goes into another holes which quickly closes appearing outside shins room but still unseen only heard by the sound of him landing on the ground outside the window of shin's room. Kazuya continues down the stairs quickly, wanting to make sure that the red haired boy that fainted from all that stuff being piled onto him was okay.

Shin layed on his bed and attempted to fall asleep. He tried to steady his breathing patterns and too stop thinking about what happenned today. Shin was almost asleep when the Pupp hopped on him and licked his face. He looked up at the Pupp and remembered that it still was morning. With a yawn, Shin sat up and held the Pupp in his lap. "Your strange... how are you still around and normal when I am so tired... other monsters would start to fade or lose their existence all together." His words reached the Pupp because it understood english. The Pupp gave Shin a look that seemed to show that it understood him and that it was different from the other monsters that were summoned by the gift. Shin felt strange but layed back again and fell asleep. The Pupp curled up in a ball by the foot of the bed.

[Bahamut - Envoy of the End]

[i]'I... smell... fear...'[/i]

A black Rolls purred smoothly into the docks, stopping close to the ramp to the ship. The portly cheauffer got out from the drivers side, and waddled round the car weezing heavily to open the door for his passenger. The poor man had already had a rough morning, and was hoping desperately that the young man in the back of the Rolls would have no further use for him, so he could get as far away as possible. The cheauffer opened the door and bowed his head, trying to avoid eye contact as his master stepped out of the car.

Daemon Ruiz, the youngest in a line of Spanish nobleman, got out and rolled his neck, stiff after the journey. His long black coat flapped in the breeze as the young prince strolled round to the boot of the Rolls to remove his luggage. Usually, this would be the cheauffer's job, but the clumsy oaf could not be trusted with this cargo. Daemon removed his backpack with his gear, which would not usually be an item in custom of his kind, but Daemon prefered to keep his possessions to a minimum for the access. Then he picked up his duel disk, a unique purple edition adorned with a perfect black ametyst in the centre. Rather than put it on, Daemon attached it to the inside of his coat, slung his backpack over his shoulder, and then reached into a pocket in his trousers for his Deck. The Deck did not leave the prince's side. The young man flicked through the cards, nodded apporval that they were all there, re-pocketed them and returned to the cheauffer to dismiss him.

As the Rolls left the docks, Daemon turned his back to make sure no-one was in sight, and then cleaned his shades. Like his Deck, the shades were permanently attached to the young man's person. Daemon replaced them, then turned back towards the ship. He had to admit it was an impressive vessel, Duel Academy was after all the best school of it's kind, one of the few places suitable for the dueling education of his family. Daemon boarded the ship, and looked around the deck, seeing a few other people around, but they were of little immediate interest. The young man left in search of his cabin, a Rolls was a fine method of transport, but after so long, a lie down on a bed was in order.

Shin was sleeping and his gift was still working. The Pupp couldn't get to sleep so it stepped all over Shin to see what he was doing. It smelled his face and came to the conclusion that Shin was not going to play a game with It anytime soon. The Pupp hopped off the bed and circled the room in search for something to do while Shin was sleeping. The Pupp walked to the door and slid threw the space beneath the door by changing it's shape slightly. When it reached the other side, it popped back to normal and continued up to the deck of the ship. When the Pupp made it to the deck, it smelled something strange. It followed the smell to a rich looking young man who's face seemed to demand respect. The Pupp smelled on of the man's shoes and walked in a circle around him. It stopped in front of him and barked softly, letting it's tails wave in the air playfully. The Pupp thought it found someone that would play a game with it.

[Sweetie Belle]

Love was sitting in her room, staring at the blank walls. "My god, this room is so dull. It needs something... I know!" Love set drop cloths all over the floors and furniture, and opened the paint. She pulled her brushes out of her bag. Standing on a chair for height, she began to paint a mural on the wall. It wasn't going to be simple. She wanted to make it as elaborate as she could, despite the fact that the captain may just be a [i]little[/i] angry about it. She didn't care. In about the time span of about 2 hours, she finished a mural depicting the Abandoned Dorm that she heard stories about. It was dark, and gray, but at the same time, it had an essence of color within it. It also seemed, however, that it was about to foreshadow a large event. Love still didn't care. She packed up everything again and lay back down on her bed.
"My, I like it," she said to herself, staring across the room.

[Bahamut - Envoy of the End]

Daemon was just about to enter his cabin when he heard a quiet bark. Puzzled, the prince looked down to see a small creature that looked strangely like a 'Spirit Wolf Pupp' sitting in front of him, a look of simple playfulness in it's big eyes that were staring him right in the face. Daemon was suprised, but was too tired to care to much. Daemon proceeded to enter his cabin, and allowed the strange creature to follow, sniffing the heels of his black boots.

Daemon dropped his backpack and removed his duel disk from his coat before hooking it on the wardrobe, exposing the tattos that covered his shoulders, arms and back - contorted depictions of dragons and creatures of the night that had appeared on his body overnight. Daemon never made any attempt to hide them, despite the advice of others. He stretched, then started to do some push-ups. The pup creature took this - mystifyingly - as a signal to jump up on his back. As soon as the creature touched him, Daemon shrugged violently. The pup creature leapt onto the bed and stared at Daemon, and Daemon stared back.

The Pupp sat on his bed and continued to watch him confused. It started to sniff the bed and followed the scent across the room. Stoping at Daemon, the Pupp looked closer at the tattoo's. The Pupp started to growl but then walked off to the door. It slid under the frame of the door like it did with Shin's and walked off to find someone else to play with.

Shin sat up in his bed and yawned. "I can feel the presence of the Spirit Wolf Pupp... but it must have left my room... It can find its own way back." Shin talked to himself before taking another nap.

Stopping near the sky deck, the Pupp found a door and a familiar scent. Sliding under the door and popping out on the other side, the Pupp found the strange painting on the wall. It walked up too it and sniffed it. Then the Pupp smelled another familiar scent. It turned to find Love on her bed.

Kazuya reached the boarding ramp after walking down the steps and back into the shadows, standing in the shadows for a few seconds before noticing that the boy with the red hair had not yet moved from where he had fainted. Kazuya walks down the ramp, lifting the boy up and carrying him onto the ship sitting him in the darkness against the wall pposite of the boarding ramp Kazuya standing nearby taking the traveller off his duel coat and placing it back in his pocket deciding that since it hadn't returned to him yet that shin must have been sleeping. Kazuya had then sat nearby while absorbus walked along the walls of the ship now standing next to Kazuya covering him in darkness while he waited to see if there were any more students yet to board.

[Time Psyduck]

Louise dropped the bags in a corner of her cabin and sat on the bed, legs stretched out and her back leaning against the headboard. Due to the layout of the cabin, she could see out of the porthole window from here, although there wasn't a whole lot to see. Sighing and relaxing a little, she pulled out her deck and began to go through it. Everything was in place, although she would have been stunned if it wasn't. She briefly went over some basic moves of the deck, and then decided to go to a different sort of deck. She left the bags in the cabin to pick up when they arrived, and headed out onto the ship's deck, leaning on the railings and looking out over the bow.

[Blood Yuchi]

Blood found himself floating mid-air in an alternate dimension, and wasn't surprise to find himself here for this has not been the first experience he ever had. He took his deck and pick out [i]Blood Soul Sagittarius[/i], and what appear infront of him was the Guardian of Soul and Dreams.

"I sense a dark pressence on this ship. I couldn't locate the person as it's faint, but still be careful." said Sagittarius, her eyes are telling Blood that she's serious as she slowly starts to fade away, "I can feel that something's wrong in this ship."

When Blood wanted to ask her more, he suddenly snapped out from his dream and awake. However he could still remember about the warning given.

Kazuya watches as Blood woke up, standing nearby in the darkness created by Absorbus' aura. "hm.. you seem to be okay just gonna go check something I'll be back to check on you later.." Kazuya says as he starts walking away with absorbus standing next to him both of then unable to be seen in the darkness. "[i]hm. well it seems that SHin is probably either asleep or just laying down in his room or he'd of been back out here by now.. I'll just check if he decided to use his power again yet, perhaps that might've been one with him[/i]" Kazuya thinks to himself thinking about the small glance he had seen of his brother before the boy with the red hair was buried in paint cans. Kazuya then concentrated on his brother trying to feel if there had been a monster of his out having been able to sense it slightly when he had summoned that card before, Kazuya feeling the pupp's presence somewhere up on the sky deck not being able to tell properly from how faint he could sense his brother's creatures thinking he was only able to due to them both having the ability and being related as he walks up the stairs.

[Blood Yuchi]

Blood stood up, trying to get back his balance on his feet. His head still hurts after been thrown with cans and all sorts, but at least he was glad to find himself not left out by the ship. As he walks down the passenger hall way, he wonders wonders why is so few passengers onboard the ship. [i]Are most of the students already at Duel Academy, or was these really the only applicants for this year's students? [/i]

Blood headed for his room. though he didn't brought any lugguages with him when he boarded the ship, he still need some rest before he reach Duel Academy. When he saw his bed inside his room, he dived into his bed without a single thought and dozed off to sleep.

Kazuya had continued up the steps then moving with absorbus through the Sky Deck finding the one wall that didn't have any doors on it finding it and going to sleep while absorbus' dark aura of shadow conceals him from sight staying there while Kazuya silently slept. Kazuya had woken up a few hours later the darkness when he wok calming him having dreamt of what happened the first time he had summoned a card without any power to control it, remembering the look in its eyes only very slightly seen as the sliced the 'X' into his cheek before it disappeared back into its card, the card being Armed Ninja which he had dropped it the moment it started to cut his cheek having only the X there instead of the large combination of cuts it would have most likely made there, having within a few years learned to control his power after this. Kazuya then stood looking around to try to see if anyone else had been near him, seeing that no-one was near he walked absorbus having covered him while he slept returning to his card as the darkness that currently covered the boat enough for him to not need him as much the light from the moon not really providing as much light as it usually would on the boat.

[Bahamut - Envoy of the End]

Daemon awoke from his sleep to discover that it was late in the night, and the ship had departed for Duel Academy hours ago. The moon was shrouded in cloud and the dim artifical light provided little to help sight. The prince went over to the wardrobe, removed his coat and boots, and left the cabin for a stroll.

The prince went out onto the Deck, a spacious area that has several duel arenas painted out on the floor. The duel tests would begin in the morning, which would have a deciding factor in which dorm new students were assigned to. Daemon walked past the makeshift arenas towards the edge and stared over into the black water below. It was a very still water, there was little breeze in the air, and little light from the stars could penetrate the cloud cover. It was a serene atmosphere.

Daemon walked back across the deck to some seating, and took his Deck out of his pocket. He shuffled through them, paranoid that any of them could have gone. He was aware there were roughly eight new students on board with him, plus representatives from Duel Academy, according to the air-headed attendant who bought his room service anyway. He may not have appreciated the attempt at conversation, but Daemon would be foolish not to learn from such information.

A bird appeared out of the dark sky and perched on the end of the balcony of the bridge, a few feet above Daemon's head. Daemon rolled his eyes up at the bird, then back down to his Deck, where he had shuffled 'Magic Drain' to the top. A cruel smile flicked across Daemon's lips. He calmly took his Duel Disk out from under his coat, attached it to his left arm and extended it's purple talons. He then placed 'Magic Drain' into the S/T slot, and raised his right hand towards the bird. The bird froze, it's eyes wide with fear. It remained locked in position for a few seconds, then sagged, and fell from it's perch, into the blackness of the waters below.

Ps yes I did just drain the life from an innocent bird. Yes it makes little sense as it was possibly the least abundant source of Magic ever.

Kazuya placed the Traveller on his duel coat using him to move down to the main deck quickly through one of the dimensional holes that it can create, removing it from the duel coat when he stands on the Deck, walking towards the Duel Zone of the ship, seeing the Duel arenas painted on the deck as he walks through the darkness, almost completely hidden due to the lack of light on the Main Deck of the ship combined with his dark clothing while he walks. Kazuya then turned standing at the corner of the hallway he had just walked down, having seen Daemon walk across the Deck, Kazuya then walked out slowly while Daemon activated the Trap card only seeing Daemon with his right hand raised as a small creature most likely a bird fell out of view having only been in the edge of his view when Kazuya stepped out on the deck. "so someone else is already up then?" Kazuya asks softly just loud enough for Daemon to hear him while he walked across the deck standing on the side opposite of Daemon watching him while he waits for an answer. Kazuya then puts his right hand into the back of his cloak, grabbing a card in between his index and middle fingers, pulling it out from it's small pocket, being right of the middle of the inside of the cloak no-one would have been able to notice the small pocket which he had the card inside. pulling his hand down to his waist still hidden behind the cloak while he watches Daemon carefully not knowing what had fallen or why.

Daemon removed the card from his duel disk, put it back in the Deck, and stood up to leave when he heard a voice behind him, spoken so softly he would not have heard had the sea and the air not been so still. The voice may have been calm, but yet there was steel in it. ‘So someone else is already up then?’ Daemon paused for a moment, then turned, flicking one of his cards inside his fingerless right glove.

Standing on the opposite side of the duel arena was a young man in a long black cloak that covered most of his face and body, apart from his bare arms that were exposed and ghostly white. He could not be many years older than Daemon, but he did not seem like a freshman. He could not see his face, but the prince could sense he was staring at him. Uncomfortable about how long the stranger may have been standing there, Daemon bucked himself up and said:

'So another man who prefers the darkness of the night. You're no student, but you can't be a teacher either. Who are you?'

Kazuya looks at Daemon as he asked who Kazuya was, "my name is Kazuya and I [b]am[/b] a teacher, if you were here when the boat arrived you would have noticed me" he says still speaking only loud enough to be heard. Kazuya then pulled his cloak up slightly, just enough so that when he let go of hit his scar on his cheek could be seen while he walks over to the middle of the room watching Daemon carefully as he moved. "oh and I dont prefer the darkness night provides, i prefer absolute darkness" he says placing a card on his duel coat with his right hand waiting a few seconds which the edge of the card not fully down waiting to summon absorbus. "If you don't believe that i am a teacher here you could have your dueling test here now, after all that would give you more time to relax while the others go through the exam tomorrow before we reach the island." Kazuya then lets Absorbus' card fall fully onto his duel coat darkness quickly spreading over him in what would have seemed a single second as absorbus appeared behind him leaving enough light so that only half of the Duel Arena Kazuya was standing at the end of could be seen. "now shall we duel or are you going to wait for the morning?" he asks his voice slightly louder now while he is in the darkness unable to be seen.

[Bahamut - Envoy of the End]

Daemon watched stunned in suprise as the far half of the Duel Arena suddenly enveloped in darkness, consuming Kazuya completely. From the pitch black came a louder voice 'now shall we duel or are you going to wait for the morning?'

Daemon smiled and extended his duel disk. 'Why not?'

Daemon walked over to the Duel arena and set himself. His coat flapped slightly as the wind seemed to pick up.

'You can hide in that shadow if you want, but you can't scare me. I am the Prince of Fear'.
