Yeah, that was a masterpiece. They did a reunion show back in 2011 and played the whole track from that album and A Types.

I know, I watched the reunion show on YouTube, sucks that I couldn't be there, it would of been a great show to see

I'm doing that now. Pretty much anything on Deathwish is good.

Deathwish have Deafheaven, Oathbreaker, Touche Amore, Birds In Row, Code Orange Kids, Converge, and Loma Prieta

Yep, I think it's safe to assume that anything off of Deathwish is good.

So Trap Them are on there too? That's pretty sweet, and there's not enough Godflesh in this thread

Just curious to know if anyone else here uses last.fm

They were when Seizures In Barren Praise came out but then they released an EP on Southern Lord and a full-length on Prosthetic.

I've heard of it but never used it. I mostly use Spotify for my music needs these days.

Due to being a Canadian resident Spotify isn't something that I'm able to use, really sucks since I hear that it's a great site

It really is, I hope they get it to your region soon!

Eh, right now I just use iTunes and last.fm, it's not really something that plays music, but it tracks what you play and comes up with your top artists/songs and recommendations too.

Anyways some Sleep

A Lot Like Birds is streaming their new lp and man it was one delicious record. Production is tight as hell.

I should get on that, probably later tho

Also I'd like to know if Saosin are really worth checking out? I really like Circa Survive though I've heard a lot of trash talk on the vocalist for Saosin after Anthony Green left.

Afraid I can't help you there, but I can share this amazing band that I just discovered. Holy crap this is freaking awesome.

I know I'm a day late, but the terror factor of this video should more than make up for it.

Sweet dreams.

[spoiler=Dir en grey - Obscure]

To me that video is more weird than terrifying

Anyone got any opinions on Spencer's new band?

To each their own I suppose! I know it creeps me out.

Yea, I think the track is pretty forgettable to be honest. I'll still listen to whatever else he puts out, but if this is the shape of what's to come, color me not interested.

Full of Hell. Was going to just post one song but this whole album is great.

It's definitely not all that noteworthy or exciting, but I still think it's not too bad, I'll probably listen to a couple more of their tracks.

I listened to some Saosin with Anthony Green, I actually like this track, I should probably listen to the rest of the album.

Translating the Name EP is their only record worth buying. The other stuff range from pretty good to decent so you might enjoy it, you might not.

I've heard most of the trash talk on the newer Saosin being directed on their vocalist, people think that he sounds scene.

lol what? The band actually becomes more radio-friendly rock after Green leaves. I won't just blame Cover for all those kinda disappointing-issh albums.

Yeah I just listened to a couple of the newer Saosin songs, they're alright, and I do agree that they did get a little more radio-rock friendly, but still not bad and definitely better than almost any other radio-friendly band out there. There's more that contributed their kind of "meh" sound than just their vocalist.
