Mr.Robot
I just realized that I really like The Devil Wears Prada's Dead Throne and the new album 8:18. I'm not too partial to their older work anymore but these are pretty great albums. The band's been upping their game since the Zombie EP. Dead Throne and Zombie EP have been leagues away from their previous effort. New album sounds promising as well. Compare to the rest of the band in that genre, TDWP while being nothing new or special is still pretty consistent. Anyway, more SPARTA

~NOiSE~
So their older stuff isn't that great? Not really bad, just juvenile I guess? I think any of the albums are worth giving a chance to but their new albums are the best. I don't really like Zombie as much as most people seem to though. In any case, they're way better than any of the other scene crap you'll normally find at your local Hot Topic.

Do scene kids still listen to TDWP though? I don't know, seems like this band isn't as much as a scene band like how they're used to. So their older stuff isn't that great? Not bad per say, they came from songs like the one below being their best to something as good as Dead Throne. I actually like their older stuff better than I remember. It's put together really well.
Susie
Not bad per say, they came from songs like the one below being their best to something as good as Dead Throne. Not bad at all, I'll probably look into their older stuff some more Maybe not as much anymore, but a lot of people still associate them with the "scene" bands. I'd imagine so And while we're on the topic of scene bands, is it just more or have the generic scenecore bands been growing up recently, even though I don't listen to or like any of them it's neat to see how a band like has turned into and another band went from to

Yea, they're both awesome. Construct is kind of like the new Projector as far as them leaning away from the faster, thrashy stuff and focusing more on texture and atmosphere, but the result is one of the best things they've ever done. It might take a few listens but it pays off.

Mr.Robot
Pianos Become The Teeth is awesome live. Watching them live gives me chills but I must say, their lps and eps aren't as impressive as seeing them live. I don't know why but they never wow or blown me away. Just one of those bands that are much better live I guess...anyone else got this same problem with other bands? And DGD got a new song.

Enrise
First time I come back to this thread and you're talking about scene bands. I don't even want to know why this is happening. I'm just going to leave, and come back after some pages. But here's one of my favorites:
Susie
Sounds to me like they just pussied up their music, for lack of a better term. In both cases is it sounds very similar, just way more soft and whatnot. While it is softer sounding and I still don't like either of those bands, it doesn't sound nearly as bad as their original stuff, it's also nice to see that the bands aren't wearing 50 pounds of eyeliner and mascara. If you ask me it sounds and looks like they realize how nobody takes them seriously. I guess soundwise it's not so different, but look-wise they've stepped up more. First time I come back to this thread and you're talking about scene bands. I don't even want to know why this is happening. I'm just going to leave, and come back after some pages. Eury
Definitely the best song on the new album, maybe the best they've done so far in their work. The cleans are a very nice addition to their music. Overall for the whole album I'd say probably a 7/10, excluding this song. Song makes it like an 8/10. Eury
Anyway, Converge. Seen them live. They're eh. Really not a fan of their singer. He's a really cool guy though.

Lucky guy, and about Jacob's vocals, that's understandable, they're an acquirred taste and Converge themselves are one of the more intense sounding Hardcore bands. Some Eyehategod for you all And while I'm in a Sludge-y mood might as well post some Baroness
