Susie
Love that song! And speaking of ISIS, I just picked up the Palms debut and Streetcleaner by Godflesh. The Palms debut was pretty good, you'll either like it or find it boring, and Godflesh are awesome, Streetcleaner is one hell of an album.

Mr.Robot
Love that song! And speaking of ISIS, I just picked up the Palms debut and Streetcleaner by Godflesh. The million dollar question, do you like the album and the direction that they took or do you find it boring and overly melodic?

~NOiSE~
Norma Jean's Wrongdoers is the best thing they've done since Redeemer. Blows Anti-Mother and Meridional out of the water. Also, My home computer is acting weird and I can't post from it for the time being, trying to get that figured out.

Also, My home computer is acting weird and I can't post from it for the time being, trying to get that figured out. Nice to know that, since I wasn't too huge on Meridional or The Anti-Mother, not saying that they were bad albums, but I didn't really think that those two albums were some of their better albums. Anyways didn't really listen to much Metal except for Pelican
✪RION
Norma Jean's Wrongdoers is the best thing they've done since Redeemer. Blows Anti-Mother and Meridional out of the water.Oh yes, this so much. Album is similar to Meridional imo but much more cohesive. It's like Converge, Botch and Thrice had a one night stand and came this album. Can't wait to own this album but right now the stream is fine. Anti-Mother is my least favorite. Meridional has great songs but it does feel a bit disjointed at times...Wrongdoers is just plain sick. O God, the Aftermath is still my favorite though. I think you'd like it, Moog. Oh yes, this so much. Album is similar to Meridional imo but much more cohesive. It's like Converge, Botch and Thrice had a one night stand and came this album. Susie
Anti-Mother is my least favorite. Meridional has great songs but it does feel a bit disjointed at times...Wrongdoers is just plain sick. O God, the Aftermath is still my favorite though. I think you'd like it, Moog. Anti-Mother had only not even a few tracks that I liked from it, I feel the same way about Meridional. Yeah I loved O God The Aftermath, I listened to it a little while ago, it's in a close second for me, Redeemer still takes the cake as #1. Oh yes, this so much. Album is similar to Meridional imo but much more cohesive. It's like Converge, Botch and Thrice had a one night stand and came this album. Damn Anti-Mother took a long time to grow on me but it's still my least favorite. Meridional is much better in comparison but it's second to last on my list. I can see a bit of those groups I guess, but I think they've done a good job of crafting their own sound. Cory's singing has also gotten way better. ✪RION
I got mine on Friday :DYou mean this Friday or last Friday? But I would still envy you cause I won't get mine until next week. Anti-Mother had only not even a few tracks that I liked from it, I feel the same way about Meridional. Yeah I loved O God The Aftermath, I listened to it a little while ago, it's in a close second for me, Redeemer still takes the cake as #1. Converge, Botch, and Thrice put together? DamnI would put O' God The Aftermath as my number 1 and Bless the Martyr and Kiss the Child as a far 2nd. Liked Redeemer but it's a like a softer version of OGTA and The Anti Mother was very dull. Meridional featured some very good individual tracks but it just didn't flow perfectly. I can see a bit of those groups I guess, but I think they've done a good job of crafting their own sound. Cory's singing has also gotten way better. Nah, that's just how I describe Wrongdoers but the band did start off by making a love note to Botch with an album which sound's heavily influenced by Botch so it wouldn't be a surprise if they take a few notes from other bands and layered their own style onto them. After listening to Wrongdoers again, I wanna watch them live again. Norma Jean always slays on their live performance.
~NOiSE~
You mean this Friday or last Friday? But I would still envy you cause I won't get mine until next week. I got mine this past Friday in my preorder package =) I would put O' God The Aftermath as my number 1 and Bless the Martyr and Kiss the Child as a far 2nd. Liked Redeemer but it's a like a softer version of OGTA and The Anti Mother was very dull. Meridional featured some very good individual tracks but it just didn't flow perfectly. My order goes O God, the Aftermath > Redeemer = Wrongdoers > Bless the Martyr > Meridional > Anti-Mother. I like Redeemer's almost noise-rock vibe. Susie
My order goes O God, the Aftermath > Redeemer = Wrongdoers > Bless the Martyr > Meridional > Anti-Mother Redeemer > O' God, The Aftermath > Bless The Martyr > Meridional > Anti-MotherRedeemer is my personal favorite since it has most of my personal favorite tracks, though the more I listen to O' God The Aftermath the more I like it, so it's in a really close second. Anti-Mother took a long time to grow on me but it's still my least favorite. Meridional is much better in comparison but it's second to last on my list. There's not even a handful of tracks off of Anti-Mother that I enjoyed, Meridional is much better than the Anti-Mother
~NOiSE~
Redeemer > O' God, The Aftermath > Bless The Martyr > Meridional > Anti-MotherRedeemer is my personal favorite since it has most of my personal favorite tracks, though the more I listen to O' God The Aftermath the more I like it, so it's in a really close second. I actually like O God, the Aftermath more than We Are the Romans. Have you listened to the deluxe version? It has an extra track called "Shaunluu" that makes the album even better. There's not even a handful of tracks off of Anti-Mother that I enjoyed, Meridional is much better than the Anti-Mother There isn't a track that I don't enjoy on Meridional, the only reason it's so far down is because it lacks cohesiveness. All the songs are great. Got Deafheaven's Roads to Judah today, it's awesome.
Susie
I actually like O God, the Aftermath more than We Are the Romans.
