Embittered Moon
Since we talked about COB Reminds me of their earlier stuff...a little...Their title track off of the new album leaked, and I thought it was really good. You can't find it anymore though. Transference is alright but not as good.

Transference is alright but not as good.Haven't heard the title track. Since it leak, they'll probably stream it sooner or later and I for once enjoy a COB song. While it's not as good as their first three album but at least it's better than their last two album. Remember seeing these guys open for La Disputes, The Menzingers and Hot Water Music when they played at Metro hall, Chicago. Saw them again few weeks later, playing with 1994 and Comadre. These guys remind me so much of La Disputes and Mewithoutyou but more hardcore-issh and this is a skramz band but are La Disputes and Mewithoutyou a skramz band though? I saw the first show on tour in Ybor City, FL, about a half-hour from where I live. Hot Water Music is great. La Dispute is post-hardcore...mewithoutYou used to be post-hardcore, they still have some of that sound but they're basically an indie rock band now. I love mewithoutYou. I've tried to get into La Dispute so many times, but to no avail, much to the dismay of my girlfriend. Old Gray wasn't really doing it for me, sorry =/ I've been listening to a lot of Orchid lately if my avatar is any indication. Also City of Caterpillar which I will post here: Yes Nails are awesome, and I love Trap Them, I still need to get Darker Handcraft soon Darker Handcraft is great, possibly their best. ~NOiSE~
Just gonna leave this here because I'm not on much anymore. I had this album for a little bit, definitely an interesting band. I kind of grew away from weird prog-metal though haha. I still like Mastodon though, if they count.

NoshpalStefan
Don't know if someone already posted this (was too lazy to check the entire thread), but it sounds pretty badass. I'm not in any way bashing their old stuff - in fact I love most of their older stuff which was not with Ozzy as singer - but this also sounds pretty good. Lyrics are meh, I think, but the riff's pretty good.

Old Grey is great live though their discography are hit or miss. Just one of those band that sound better live than on their record. 1994! and Comadre are awesome as well. Sucks that Comadre broke up and as La Disputes is as Coral explain, not a skramz band but they do draw a lot of influence from it(instrumentally that is). Also, Palms finally release something! I don't know how to tell you this but they started with Ozzy before changing lead vocalist with Dio and Tony. I realize they originally began with Ozzy, I was just trying to claim that the Dio and Tony years really influenced me more than any of their Ozzy songs. Once again, I'm not bashing Ozzy - I actually like some of his stand alone songs and his singing is quite powerful, so to say - but I just wanted to say that Black Sabbath's work with other singers seemed more interesting to me. ~NOiSE~
Also, Palms finally release something! Listened to this a few days ago, sounds pretty sweet. I hope they have some heavy songs on the album as well but I like this a lot.
Susie
Also, Palms finally release something! Hmmm.....it's quite interesting, very nice sounding, I wouldn't even mind if the whole album was just softer if this is what it'll sound like, or maybe mostly softer would be better than all softer. ~NOiSE~
You lucky bastard, I have to wait until the album comes out in stores. It's pretty great. I don't think it beats any of their other albums except Ire Works, but it's Dillinger doing what they do best so you should definitely pick it up. Might as well listen to some of my favorite Dillinger tracks until the album comes out I'd only listened to "Prancer" up until yesterday, been jamming the album hard. That and We are the Romans, which is even better now that I have a physical copy. "Frequency Ass Bandit" might be my favorite song on it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSIx6WGj-Nk
