Susie
I think Moog meant that the store itself had 100 copies, they couldn't make #11 on the Billboard 200 if they only produced 100 copies of the album. You saw Oceanic in a store? You should pick that up before it disappears, it's not exactly an easy album to come by these days, at least at retail outlets.Yeah I'm thinking that they just arrived at the store, I saw at least 6 or 7 stacks of the same CD I wish I could buy Oceanic but I don't have any money and all of my Christmas presents have been picked out alreadyI think that I still have a chance since Isis aren't really that well mentioned, at least down here in Canada I just hate it when I have to play luck to get a CD, I did that with a Squarepusher album and I never saw it again until my visit to the store today

Damn, I never knew that since I've only known Isis since last weekAmazon isn't really a solution for me since I can't really order anything online14 year olds can't get credit cardsSo my only solution, since I hate digital copies, is to go to stores and buy them from thereBut if you were to look at the metal section in the store that I go to, it basically looks like a wall of CDs scattered everywhere, maybe it might get hidden because of that

Sucks that your store doesn't take better care of the metal section though. I'm with you on disliking buying music through digital means, I'm pretty sure I posted a picture of my shelf haha. ✪RION
If Oceanic is available in your store, chances are there might be Panopticon there as well..just maybe though. I got both in the same store and it's hard to find one without the other here but Coral's right, Isis' stuff is hard to find.

Yeah I noticed that there was 4 or 5 Isis albums thereEach were a copy of a different one Panopticon was one of them Glad you're getting started on the good stuff early. Sucks that your store doesn't take better care of the metal section though. I'm with you on disliking buying music through digital means, I'm pretty sure I posted a picture of my shelf haha. They kinda do take care of it, but it kinda looks disorganizedThere's three walls that each are ordered alphabeticallyBut only for what's on each shelfSome of the CDs are facing sideways others are facing forwardThen there's the stacks beneath the walls And I've been listening to Hardcore since my mom played Metallica, System of a down, P.O.D. and others in the car for me when I was 2-4 years oldShe never played what was on the radio for me Yeah you did post up the picture of your collectionIt was quite tidy looking
Mr.Robot
Holy macaroni, if it's here in New York those Isis album would be long gone and same goes to any Deftones album especially if it's new unless you go to hot topic. Seems like hot topic goers aren't a fan of Deftones and I wonder why? lol @Moog, sounds like the employees of that store you went to are just lazy. Same case with few of the store I went to before I found out about DIY stores. Anyway, your mom sounds awesome. I had a pretty similar childhood cept that it's my brother and instead of metal bands it's emo stuff. Not the mislabeled alternative/pop punk with long hair stuff. Susie
The Deftones albums probably just arrived there, since this is Canada we get everything lateAnd to my knowledge I'm the only Canadian metal head who knows of Isis' existance Also CDs aren't popular everyone seems to like torrents betterThere is usually only a couple of people in the store, and I was the only one standing in front of the metal section. Shsss, let's keep that first part a secret. We don't want another meme based on nationality do we? Anyway, while I get money as an issue, I never really use torrents aside from getting albums that are impossible to find. Mostly skramz album but I use Mediafire. Nothing can ever beat the feeling of holding an album casing while listening to it. Every time I do that I got the POWAAH!

Totally agree, I don't ever really feel like I have an album until I get a hard copy. Think these are my most impressive albums that I've gotten my hands on: maudlin of the well - Leaving Your Body Map, Orchid - Self-titled (commonly known as Gatefold), Underoath - Act of Depression, Underoath - Cries of the Past [spoiler=Said CDs]
Mr.Robot
My most impressive album that I own would probably be Moss Icon's Lyburnum. [spoiler=THE One.] And props for getting Cries Of The Past. It's one of the most hardest Underoath's album to find. Also Orchid. Awesome.

Yea, the prices for that and Act of Depression on amazon.com are ungodly, I had to get them on ebay and I fought for them haha. Never heard of Moss Icon until just now. I also just ordered the Dance Tonight! Revolution Tomorrow! / Chaos Is Me compilation because finding them individually is nigh impossible. Mr.Robot
In a house? I'm confused haha. Anyway, I would've flipped out if I found them somewhere. House is a term use by the folks down at Long Island for shows that are held in small neighborhood venue like i.e -Small stadium or community center. Local talents and some emo bands usually play in these type of venues and that's where I usually found some really, really rare albums.

Dismal Euphony
Their songs are a bit lengthy, that one in particular, but it's 100% worth it. One of the most talented one-man projects I've heard in a long time.

Yea, it's on earlier printings, you have to pop out the disc tray and take out the back part. It has some creepy drawings and lyrics that appear on their next two albums. Mine's a later printing so it's not there.
