Most metalheads don't like Korn because they're "nu-metal." I like them though they've got a lot of good stuff. Here's some awesome "techinical sludge metal" from Switzerland. Some parts are like that, others arte fast and furious hardcore punk/metalcore, so they do different stuff. They're one of my recent faves. Tried Arsis, didn't really like them a whole lot.
