Yea I loved Construct as well but I hope there are some more riffs on the new one, I remember them talking about writing tons of riffs awile back but that was some time ago. I'm sure it'll be good regardless.

I've been wondering the same thing about Chevelle, I dig them but I don't see em sticking with me for super long.

And yea Blood Incantation is badass.

I actually am okay with less riffs, I feel that DT are at their most interesting and creative when they focus more on melody and atmosphere.

Chevelle are a really cool band and they even have a bit of nostalgia with me but im really not sure if I wanna listen to them a whole lot or not. I cant really tell whether I see myself sticking onto them for a longer length or not.

Blood Incantation are coming up with a full length on August 18th, I can only hope that itll be at least near as good as their EP from last year was.

Oh dang that's really soon. Might have to preorder! I'm sure it'll be rad.

Oh yeah man I have the confidence itll be great too, kind of hard not to when a band only has one EP and a few demos out. Honestly with the new Ulcerate and Blood Incantation coming out im not too sure if Entheos will hold up for Death Metal AOTY for me.

A Night In Texas are cool (Even if their band name is funking awful).

Well looks like im stuck with no Internet for a while, staying at my step-dads mothers place (Step-Nanny...I guess) and of course my dad never informed me at all and my mother had to tell me after my confusion when we ended up stopping in front of a familiar house instead of going down the highway back up to Cape Breton. So yeah were visiting at one of my step-dads friends places and once I leave I will not be able to post for the weekend so ill just leave these here since im gonna check out these bands tonight.

FINALLY some new Kashee Opeiah stuff. Just a couple of demos from the new album but they're really good, so stoked to hear the whole thing.

Im not even gonna bother counting how many bands have released new material this year. Good funking hell I dont think ive seen this thread have as much "OMG NEW SOOOOOONG" material as were having right now. Looking at the release date its a far away ahead though. Nov. 2017? funk thats a long wait. Both tracks aint bad at all.

Got around to listening to all three of those bands I mentioned earlier and I think that all three are good but I doubt that ill ever listen to them a whole lot.

Decided to spin the newest Periphery because their double album was an improvement. This ones not as good as Juggernaut was but its still got its moments, first two tracks are annoying abominations though.

New Oathbreaker is going to be amazing, I can feel it.

https://oathbreakerband.bandcamp.com/

It sounds all fine so far but I doubt that itll be as good as Eros|Anteros was.

Anyways I got nothing new to share because ive been busy with Electronic music (and watching the funk out of Black Lagoon) lately but I did listen to The Chariot earlier so have my favorite song from Long Live.

You mean the new Oathbreaker track didn't blow you away and get you hyped as hell? Dude what is wrong with you lol

And yea The Chariot rules, Long Live is my fave I think but the debut is very underappreciated.

New Oathbreaker track is good man, I just dont think itll come over the greatness of Eros/Anteros

The Chariots debut is kind of meh. I just think it sounds way too close to Norma Jeans debut and its definitely my least favorite. Long Live and One Wing are my top picks, War and Rumors of War used to be my favorite but I grew to like those two better than it.

Boris are a band that id love to see live, probably would be an amazing experience. Ive listened to Earth a couple of times but I couldnt get them to stick with me.

I definitely think the new Oathbreaker has the potential to top the last one, it's been awhile between releases and I think they'll probably be a bit more ambitious this time around. I already love hearing the vocalist's haunting clean vocals more and the song is just super emotive. It'll be rad for sure, and they're playing near me in September.

I just love The Chariot's debut for being no-frills, no-gimmick metalcore and I love how raw and unrefined it is. Doesn't quite have the atmosphere that Bless the Martyr... has but it rules nonetheless. Long Live and One Wing are definitely the others in the running for best though.

Eh I just found it to be a watered down immature version of Bless the Martyr, yeah sure its raw as funk but it lacks substance since it sacrificed part of what made Bless the Martyr so special, though if they did keep the atmosphere in then it would have just sounded like a carbon copy so for me its just a lose lose situation with The Chariots debut. Its far from being bad but its anything but interesting.

This album rules so damn hard, too bad the rest of 18Vs stuff is just okay.

Each time i find someone asking me what world do Metalheads dream off? I say dude we are on a different level of pure fantasy nobody will ever understand.

Now let my eyes be Lift with Fire, as you die watching me.

lol I'm sorry man but neither of those are really the kind of thing I like at all.

Been jamming this a lot, an incredibly ugly and abrasive mix of grind, sludge and harsh noise. Not for the faint of heart. I love it.

Will try out that Full of Hell and The Body album sometime when im in the mood, for now ive been jamming some things I used to frequent when I was younger.

Not the greatest album in the world but theres definitely quite a few good bangers on there, Downfall, Running From Me, and Figure 8 are my top choices.

Dude good pick, Failure rules. Actually didn't know they released that album last year, but Fantastic Planet is great if you plan on checking out their other stuff.
