Meh,I'll play along.

Top 5:

1. The Black Dahlia Murder (MUST LIKE)

2. The Acacia Strain (>Emmure)

3. Suffokate (Pussies *TSWFWF*)

4. The Number 12 Looks Like You (Like a Motherfucking Cat)

5. The Dillinger Escape Plan (Yeeeeeeees)

As you can see, I love genres like mathcore and deathcore. And of course, whatever you'd consider TBDM (cause Ritual was the greatest metal album ever released).

Jumping on the bandwagon and making a new top 10.

Mors Principium Est

Enslavement of Beauty

Obscura

Shade Empire

Sunless Rise

Mirrorthrone

Gojira

The Faceless

Ninnghizhidda

Cradle of Filth

In no order, they are all great.

The Faceless<3

I love you.

Anyways I have an updated top 10 list.

1. The Black Dahlia Murder (AAAAAAAAALLLLLLWAAAAAAAAAAAAYS)

2. Converge (They're kinda punk but meh. I love them)

3. The Dillinger Escape Plan (<3)

4. The Number 12 Looks Like You (:3)

5. Carcass (Tools of the Trade is soooo good)

6. General Surgery (Goregrind, yo)

7. The Acacia Strain (The Hills Have Eyes :3)

8. Suffokate (Listen to The Skies Were Filled With Fire, and after the intro starts and the singer says a word, your life will be made)

9. In Flames (Their older stuff was amazing. Listen to Satellites and Astronauts and you will forget their new stuff even exists)

10. Protest the Hero (Pretty good mathcore)

As can be seen, I like goregrind a lot more now.

Exactly! If you listen to anything off of Lunar Strain, The Jester Race, Whoracle, Colony, or even Clayman, all other albums will become dead to you. Granted there are a few good songs on Reroute to Remain, but not enough to call it one of the best albums.

Well we cant blame then for making such a album let wait until there next album who knows if its gonna be the s*** next time :l

Well, y'know, we're a long way away from that. I WILL admit, Sounds of a Playground Fading is 10x better than A Sense of Purpose, so who knows. Maybe they'll make a comeback. I feel like the departure of Jesper Stromblad was a major defeat on their part. Niclas isn't bad, but Jesper and Bjorn are the dream team. They really paved the way for In Flames. I feel like ASOP was just a gigantic mistake.

Okay. "Even Clayman" sounded VERY sarcastic from my point of view, and it is one of my favourite albums of all time.

And I liked A Sense of Purpose, but it's pretty much nostalgic.

Anyone listening to Drone Metal? I'm hooked.

I said even Clayman, because that was their last phenomenal album.

A Sense of Purpose was horrid for In Flames. It was generic, uncreative, and just downright boring.
