~NOiSE~
Oh well at least you have CD stores nearby now that ive moved theres not a single store that sells CDs Thought id revisit a favourite that I havent listened to In a long timehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8hwKrFv1NM For reals? There's gotta be something around. Poison the Well are cool but I don't find myself listening to them very often. Current listening.
Susie
For reals? There's gotta be something around. Poison the Well are cool but I don't find myself listening to them very often. Current listening. Nope, not that I know of, I even went in to see if the electronic store had a small CD rack but nope, nothing. Poison the Well are one of my favorite bands of all time, to me The Opposite of December is one of the greatest albums ive ever listened to. I tried Celeste a while ago but I wasnt big on them

I like everything they've done. Hope you find a place with CDs!
Susie
Celeste was actually pretty straightforward skramz for their first EP but after that is when they dabbled in the black metal and hardcore waters. I like everything they've done. Hope you find a place with CDs! I dont really know why but a lot of Blackened Hardcore is just boring to me, I love Oathbreaker but thats pretty much it and even then I mostly just listen to Eros|Anteros the rest of their stuff isnt bad though. I think its mostly for the same reason I tend to ignore a lot of Melodeath induced Metalcore, I just feel that a lot of bands arent doing much with the concept. Its mostly just the same ol crusty riffs with some wall of noise atmosphere thrown onto it along with Josh Scogin on helium vocals and it just gets too monotonous and dragged out for me on most occasions. Its well done stuff but its really just not for me at all. I have a feeling that if I do find a store that sells CDs then itll be hard for me to find what I like in there. At first I didnt like them but I got more into them recently. Their first two albums were really great Excited about Norma Jean being in the studio, it would be sick if they could top off Wrongdoers. The last thing I remember them saying was to expect a weird one this time around, which makes me pretty excited. Not really sure what it means but some cool experimentation should be nice. Been listening to some Rosetta and I'm, pretty sure Wake/Lift is still my fave.

Yeah I remembered hearing that a while ago, I have nothing against Norma Jean going weird Wake/Lift was always my favorite Rosetta album and I still own my copy of it. Susie
Opting for something a bit less heavy today but still just as jammin'. Hell yeah Fugazi. I was listening to In On the Kill Taker a while ago. End Hits is one of the few things from them I havent listened to yet. Something bad but I still like anyways I actually would listen to them more often if it werent for the lyrics and the clean vocals Now for something on the complete opposite end of the spectrum https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IM9PUegDRz8

Susie
New Inverloch album! So Stoked for this. Inverloch may be no diSEMBOWELMENT but they still are good and definitely noteworthy for a new album. Thrice, Norma Jean, Hands Like Houses, hopefully From Autumn to Ashes, (and probably a few others im not thinking of right now) and now Inverloch are getting new albums released this year, what a great time 2016 will be. Just finished listening to this
~NOiSE~
Hopefully it'll be a great year, don't forget Artificial Brain, Ulcerate, Zao, Gorguts, Neurosis, (maybe) Glassjaw and Vektor. Probably lots more too. Never listened to 40 Below Summer, will check them. Current listening:

Current listening: Id say give Glassjaw another five years before their album comes out, their new track only made it out with a miracle. Forgot about Artificial Brain and ZAO though I never did hear about Ulcerate, Gorguts, or Neurosis. Never listened to Vektor before so I wouldnt be excited until I actually hear what they have to offer. 40 Below Summer are one of the better Nu-Metal bands out there, Invitation To the Dance is all that Ive ever listened to by them though. Off Minor are really great though I have yet to listen to that album.

Anything by Off Minor is gold so I'd recommend all of their work! Been listening to a lot of Rosetta this week and I'm now unsure as to which one is my favorite. The Galilean Satellites is so epic... I listened to a few Vektor tracks yesterday in class, yeah they seem to be quite great. I havent dug too deeply into Off Minor but what ive listened to by them is incredible. The Gallilean Satellites is the only Rosetta release I have yet to listen to, Wake/Lift and Flies to Flame are my favorite releases by them. ~NOiSE~
Good stuff man, all awesome bands. Definitely finish off Rosetta and Off Minor's discographies, they're worth it. Hot Cross rules, their first EP and LP are classic material and the rest of their work is great too. I always thought Off Minor and Hot Cross were both better than their parent band Saetia. I never really know what to say about Underoath's discography as a whole but I love their last three and the rest is a lot of ups and downs. FUN FACT: One of the pastors at a church I'm currently playing drums for has been friends with Octavio since before his days in Underoath. Also, my co-worker (also a pastor) is friends with Aaron Gillespie. I've been jamming this, one of the best recent post-metal albums imo EDIT: Not actually that recent I guess, I just realized that it's ten years old... I like Hot Cross more than Saetia too but I havent heard enough out of Off Minor to say that theyre better. With Underoath I like Cries of the Past a lot and think that Act of Depression is good too, The Changing of Times used to be my favorite but its still among my top three favorites, Theyre Only Chasing Safety is fun and catchy but overrated and their last three are masterpieces. I still havent listened to Mouth of the Architect mostly because I dont bother with Post-Metal all that much now, but ill get around to it soon.
