Wormed is pretty rad, very brutal but they also have a lot of weird riffs and spacey themes which is always a plus for me.

That sounds real good

Yesterday I listened to this

While I do think its good I dont really get why its got more listens than their first two albums.

Actually its quite different, more electronic influenced than their first two albums

New Horrendous is really good but I wouldnt call it my fav Metal release

It's mine for sure, I think it's brilliant. There are plenty of great others that came out as well though.

Horrendous is already recording their next album btw, that's crazy.

Its a brilliant album but not the most enjoyable one for me

Also Boris put out three new albums this year, never found out until now.

I feel trully sadden to hear the grand fathers of heavy Metal are retiring after one final tour....

Even though they still make history as they make the best music genre of all time, They maybe Gone but Metal will always remain alive and well

Thank you Gods of Metal \m/ All Hail Black Sabbath

I respect Black Sabbath's place in music history and their undeniable influence, but I don't really listen to them. Glad they had a good run though.

Currently jamming Timeghoul.

Unfortunately not a fan of either of those Moog =/

Can't wait to see Artificial Brain tonight!

Eh I like The Agony Scene a lot right now, I think its mostly due to the vocals, they sound like ZAO but even more raw. In Mourning are cool with me too, their album Monolith is better to me.

Artificial Brain are always a win, at least I hope they will, they only have one album out so you cant really tell, but I feel theyll never do something terrible.

I don't care if it is christmass I'm going with freaking Death Metal

Death metal is all I've been listening to for the past couple of months if my recent posts are any indication. Amputory is alright but it didn't really grab me tbh.

These certainly did today though, think you'd appreciate.

Also Artificial Brain was rad last night, bought their CD and a cool shirt. Bands I'll be seeing soon include Decapitated, At the Gates, and Voivod, and bands I MIGHT see include Napalm Death, Melt-Banana, Tombs and Full of Hell. Got a lot of neat stuff coming up.

Older Suffocation is cool but Ive never listened to Demigod

This EP man, this EP

Their first album is freaking awesome, next two were cool as well but everything after that pretty much sucked imo. Demigod is rad, you'd dig them.

Everything In Slow Motion got me really excited with that EP but their full-length was pretty disappointing. I found it very boring.

ill take your word on Demigod, I really liked the EP but ive never listened to the full-length though the songs seem very hit or muss from what ive heard out of it so far.

Demigod is great Finnish death metal.

Yeeeeaa Weakling. I haven't really given Krallice a shot either but they seem to be a love it or hate it type of band.

So basically the same reaction that just about every other well known USBM band gets, okay then. I dont know where to start with them simply because theyre a band that doesnt usually stay in the same sound. They seem really interesting and the kind of band that I can get into though.

Their highest rated on Sputnikmusic is Years Past Matter so maybe start there? Or just start from the beginning.
