Lantlos is cool, listen to their first two first when you get around to it.

Glad you dig Weakling, they were one of the first acclaimed USBM bands. Can't wait to get it in the mail. Ash Borer rules too, which album did you check?

Weakling are one of the best USBM bands ive listened to, the emotion mixed with those sharp melodies and cold bleak atmosphere makes for a perfect winter album, as for Ash Borer i listened to the self-titled and Cold of Ages.

off the Black Metal topic but heres a Post-Hardcore band less along the likes of At the Drive-In and Glassjaw but more like Dead Poetic and Emery

currently i have all of Lantlos albums on my computer but only their self-titled and .neon on my iPod will listen to them next

Yea I meant Lantlos haha. Neige from Alcest does vocals on .neon and Agape.

thats cool, i kinda got bored of Alcest recently theyre a good band but they really havent crossed my mind in a long time.

a bit early but i think i might like neon more than the self-titled

Lantlos is better than Alcest imo

Agape is more doomy but still has the jazzy shoegaze vibe. The last one isn't black metal at all and has no screams, you'll just have to listen haha

kinda suspected that Melting Sun was different from the rest of their releases due to how drastically different the artwork was. ill listen to more Lantlos tomorrow, switched over to Nothingface tonight

I stop lurking finally. Lol. this one was better than the other one, imo.

glad that youre into Nothingface, one of the earlier Nu Metal bands and one of the better ones. Skeletons is definitely their best release.

cant say that i ever liked Fit For A King though

Find anything else you dig during your lurking hours?

New Aevangelist album is out and it's awesome, hopefully picking it up on Friday.

Aevangelist got something new out? ill have to look into it.

You know. Stuff I hit 'like' on. for the most part. i might have missed one or two. don't think i did though.

though i've kinda stopped liking Born of Osiris. Blut aus Nord too.

with BoO i only like The Discovery their earlier stuff is too Deathcore influenced with a few tolerable moments and their later stuff just sounds way too chuggy for me. Blut Aus Nord is something that you really are missing out on if you dont dig them anymore.

Listened to Weakling again today and I have to agree that it's one of the best black metal albums ever.

yeah Weakling are too damn good

currently checking out One On Six by Zubrowska, theyre a French Deathcore band that ive heard sounds like a Brutal Death Metal version of The Dillinger Escape Plan.

So this is my old band's first single. I'd like to bring the project back, but yeah. I played drums btw.

cool that youre in a band, i remembered wanting to be in one a long time ago though i gave up that dream recently in pursuit of other things. cant say your band is the style of Hardcore that im big on but i wish you luck on bringing them back together

I would label both bands you've mentioned as nu metal, though Slipknot has more heavy metal influence. Unfortunately, I've never been a big fan of Korn and I haven't been into Slipknot much since high school but Slipknot do have some killer tracks.

Jamming some Darkspace.
