~NOiSE~
i have listened to it and i listened to The Mystical Beast of Rebellion and Odinist. im not sure which BAN album id say is my favorite but i like 777 - Cosmosophy, 777 - Sect(s) and Odinist the most out of what ive heard by them so far. VxV has been getting me going along with Blut Aus Nordhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vIiUbRZBmI Wolves at the Gate doesn't do much for me, but VxV (what the hell does that mean haha) was a lot better than Captors. As far as Solidstate metalcore goes, I have really been digging Underoath's Lost In the Sound of Separation. I'm not sure why I never gave it as much attention as the others but It's getting closer and closer to the top spot in their discography for me. Captors was okay and i thought that VxV was okay at first though now its really grown on me. it feels like what Haste the Day would make if they tried to imitate Thrices Vheissu Lost in the Sound of Separation was like a more heavier atmospheric version of Define the Great Line. I see it as their most experimental as well, it definitely relies less on vocals and hooks than DTGL and has more weird rhythms and chord progressions. I hope they decide to make another album. ~NOiSE~
I still consider DTGL their classic though, it pretty much cemented my love for heavy music and I consider it perfect. I think I'll watch Tired Violence tomorrow.

~NOiSE~
TOCS doesn't have the nostalgia for me, despite being my first hardcore-anything album. It just doesn't hold up to the rest musically, though it isn't bad.

~NOiSE~
Ceasing to Breathe is the best but it doesn't have much replay value to me. I love the first two tracks though.

Susie
I love Zao, so stoked for the new album. I'm listening to something quite different at the moment. In On the Kill Taker is my favorite Fugazi record, a really underrated release. right now im checking out The Narrow Scope of Things by Embodyment...man they really changed their sound from Embrace the Eternal, i guess its not bad but damn did they ever go clean. im also really impatient for the new ZAO record, ZAO have always been one of my favorite bands i love all their stuff especially Parade of Chaos, The Funeral of God and Awake. Agreed on In On the Kill Taker, it's my favorite as well. Your favorite Zao is the opposite of mine haha, I love Where Blood and Fire Bring Rest, Liberate Te Ex Inferis and The Fear Is What keeps Us Here. All of them are awesome though. Liberate and The Fear i would place as my 4th and 5th favorites, Where Blood belongs behind (self-titled) to me. also now that im done with The Narrow Scope of Things its kind of odd how the album started out super slow but slowly got a bit heavier near the end, not too sure what to feel on it. ~NOiSE~
I haven't really listened to Embodyment other than the debut, just bits here and there, I'll have to check them out!

Susie
Thanks! Everything Altar of Plagues has done is awesome. most certainly, God Alone is actually my favorite AoP song though i think Teethed Glory in general might be my favorite album of theirs, White Tomb though would crawl in behind, i forget what Mammal sounds like since its been a long time though i remembered it being my least favorite. since we were discussing Embodyment have you ever heard of The Famine? they apparently were the band that some members of Embodyment had joined in. I don't think they were very good. i remembered hearing one or two tracks by The Famine and they didnt really leave me one way or the other and i doubt that Mammal wouldnt rule, though i wont listen to it until tomorrow, kind of too late right now. ~NOiSE~
I'm listening to Considered Dead by Gorguts and I think you should give it another shot. It doesn't have the wank that showed up on Obscura but it's great OSDM.
