Bought this today, was $17 for a used copy so I assume it's a bit rare.

It's also amazing.

Also bought Writhes In the Murk by Aevangelist and Liar by The Jesus Lizard.

ive heard of Disembowelment, theyre supposed to be really good from what i hear. i listened to GOAT by The Jesus Lizard once it was alright, didnt leave too much of an impact on me but i dont remember disliking it.

diSEMBOWENT!!! It really rules, amazing death/grind/doom metal from the late 80s/early 90s. It kind of blows my mind that that album came out in '93.

The Jesus Lizard is probably best listened to with the proper context in mind, they were doing unique stuff for their time. They're kind of hard to get into but they're very rewarding.

You'll definitely like Disembowelment, some of the best I've heard. The Jesus Lizard's Liar is probably my favorite now.

Never listened to Wo Fat but I don't listen to too much stoner metal. Cool cover art though.

i dont listen to a whole lot of Stoner Metal either, not that i dislike it but its never what comes to mind first. The Conjuring is the only thing of theirs that ive listened to, its a pretty good album.

listened to these

As I Lay Dying has good stuff but I unfortunately lost interest in them pretty quickly. Demilich rules though. * BUUUURP BURP CROOOAK*

im not as into AILD as i used to be but i still like listening to The Powerless Rise and An Ocean Between Us though ive never checked out anything else by them, i tend to listen to their music in short intervals. i like Demilich, demonic frogs croaking from outerspace can surprisingly make good music though im much more into them for their sound and less for the vocals.

I understand people not liking the vocals but I think they're pretty iconic for the band.

What's your sig from?

i dont mind the vocals very much even though they took 10 tries to be able to get into

the sig is from an old newgrounds series called There She Is!! i used to watch it a lot when i was younger and its one of the few things i used to watch back then that i still do care about today

last three parts are the best

Biolich is Demilich worship and Inverloch is basically the reincarnation of diSEMBOWELMENT and has two of the members. Both bands are pretty awesome.

i dont think that the Demilich comparison is all that fair, the only thing that gives me a Demilich vibe is the vocals to me the instrumentals are more akin towards sci-fi themed Death Metal like GIGAN, Timeghoul and Artificial Brain. i actually like Biolich more than Demilich but both are good bands.

Inverloch were quite great too.

It's a bit of an exagerration but I do think Biolich borrowed a bit from the Demilich playbook, most obviously in the vocals but also in the melodies. It doesn't take away from the finished product for me at all though.

this album never tires with me

also have you heard of Symphony in Peril? apparently they had the vocalist from ZAO in their band.

Ex-vocalist. He's Shawn Jonas, the guy who was on All Else Failed and The Splinter Shards the Birth of Separation. Symphony In Peril has some cool moments but they can get tiresome, worth checking out though. I prefer their first album Lost Memoirs and Faded Pictures, but The Whore's Trophy was the more popular one. They changed vocalists after that but they broke up before they released anything else.
