Susie
I love Luce, so chaotic yet it feels really hazy and emotional as well. All The Secret's stuff is great but I think I like their first two albums the most. I rememberMithras being alright but I'll have to check them again. i really got into Mithras, loved the heavy Death Metal riffage being mixed with the weird synth sounds, kind of sci-fi feeling to it., The Secret are a good band but i feel like i cant get into them as much as other Metalcore bands. right now im checking out that new Sulphur Aeon album, it seems cool so far. I'll check Mithras again soon! Sulphur Aeon's Swallowed by the Ocean's Tide was pretty good, I like the themes and there were some good riffs. Just not enough substance I guess, and the production wasn't too great. Still need to check the second one.

Susie
I bought the last two Nasum albums today. They're sick, ive only ever listened to Inhale Exhale, never bothered with anything else by Nasum. anyways today i listened to Bleeding Through, they were cool but i wouldnt say theyre anything special, still worth the listen thoughhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OeztYGqcJs also re-listened to Extremist and tried out Demon Hunters self-titled, Extremist is probably the worst thing by DH though it still has its moments and their self-titled was cool too. i also listened to Dead Horses by Evergreen Terrace just so that i could say that ive listened to more than just Wolfbiker, it was a good album but i prefer Wolfbiker, maybe for the selfish reason of nostalgia but whatever.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2CSUg1hXxs

Helvete is intense. I agree about Extremist being the worst Demon Hunter. I could probably take every Demon Hunter song that I like and make one perfect album. I used to have all of Evergreen Terrace's album up to Almost Home minus their debut album, but Wolfbiker is the only one I remember in any detail. Extremist was the first Demon Hunter album i tried out which ended up making me thing poorly of them (though i did still listen to Summer of Darkness and i tried Our World Is A Thorn but buffering during school was a jabroni, those made me lighten up about DH) but now that im into Demon Hunter im starting to notice that there are a few good moments still on it. Evergreen Terrace were a band that i got into when i was younger with their album Wolfbiker but ive only now just started to listen to their other stuff. Susie
decided to check out some band called Wolves At the Gate, theyre apparently comparable to Haste the Day, Oh Sleeper and Demon Hunter (more Christcore yay). thought it might be interesting since i dig all those bands and wolves are super cool. listening to their debut album, will post opinions later. and done now, it wasnt bad, definitely much more clean vocals than i expected which is fine by me. its worth checking out but it aint no Haste the Day or Oh Sleeper
~NOiSE~
I haven't really listened to them, will check. I think you'd like Phil Chamberlain's (Spencer's brothers) band To Speak of Wolves however. This track features the Oh, Sleeper vocalist. Listened to Wolves at the Gate and they're not bad. Will have to listen more though.

~NOiSE~
I listened to a bit of Captors, and I don't think it sounds nearly as good as the stuff they did on their latest, VxV. Both are pretty derogatory but I don't really like the sound of Captors at all.

~NOiSE~
I'm listening to the Secret too much to be enjoying that kind of metalcore haha. I know they're not your favorite but Disintoxication is such an intense album.

I know they're not your favorite but Disintoxication is such an intense album. yeah The Secret are good but when it comes down to intense Metalcore id rather go for other bands that im into, ill give Disintoxication a listen while im waiting for that To Speak Of Wolves album to download i only made it about halfway through that album by The Secret so far it gave me the same impression that ive always had on The Secret then my download finished and i went onto To Speak Of Wolves, really liked them a lot. i also decided to download Knuts discography since its been a long time since ive listened to them, ill go listen to their stuff when i wake up. Knut rule though.dont get me wrong i do like The Secret and how they pull off their sound, theyre just not really my first pick, ill listen to Luce again sometime today. Knut do rule, i like them more than i remember. Challenger is quite good though ill have to listen to their other stuff that i got too.
~NOiSE~
Challenger is almost definitely their best but I love everything they've done. They and Isis would come onstage together to play "H/armless".

They and Isis would come onstage together to play "H/armless". i forgot to listen to more Knut and got caught up with other stuff. though anyways Luce grew on me a bit more, i think my problem with The Secret was that i wasnt listening to them when i was in the right mood, Disintoxication wasnt too bad either but it doesnt impress me like Luce does. anyways what i listened to todayhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CmUL8b_aJ84(cant find anything other than a live video) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gMGfZJoDJnc
~NOiSE~
SEIZURES Also Luce is probably better than Disintoxication but the latter is when they really started delving into the "blackened" aspect of their sound. They're basically a blackened hardcore/crust punk band now, they still rule though. Also when the hell did we get these emoticons

Luce is pretty much the only thing of theirs that elicits more than a meh from me, not that the rest of their stuff is bad but it doesnt do as much for me as that album does. i could only ever listen to Disintoxication or Solve Et Coagula once or twice in a blue moon, nothing that i hate but nothing that gets me as much as other stuff does. Underoath's The Changing of Times... And Underoath's Define the Great Line. oh yeah i looked back there too a few times, i know all your secrets. >Sonic Syndicate>Trivium>Bring Me the Horizon>Impending Doom>Dream Theater (im guilty of that one too) the Slipknot hate circlejerk was funny as hell though (that Nu. dude made me laugh a lot) Underoath are great though, but i really wish that The Changing of Times was more popular, easily their most feelsy record and it has When the Sun Sleeps which is my favorite song by them. Yes yes, old shames. Bring Me the Horizon still has some awesome tracks though. there is no reason why you should not listen to them. Wrongdoers is my third favorite album of theirs right behind Redeemer and O God the Aftermath i listened to this album twice in a row, i really like Oathbreakerhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFALPj-F8wU It's not your first time listening to them it it? That album is really great. Their first is pretty good too but not quite on the same level. Hope they put something new out soon. Decided to listen to some Norma Jean, cause funk it why not Awesome, Norma Jean is great. They're doing a tenth anniversary tour for their album O' God, the Aftermath (which is my favorite) so I'm pretty excited. Already have my ticket! Don't have it all in a single video but here's a playlist of the deluxe version of the album, it includes a bonus track called "Shaunluu" as track 5. Makes the album better in my opinion. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLKvqLln2Hf5ePRIX0fPAZ_DGaU1mAvOHp
