Susie
Got 012:2 and Give Them Rope She Said v2.0 in the mail today, along with that Comity album. Happy~ Coalesce are nice, Give Them Rope is a cool album though i never knew about a second version of it and ive never listened to 012:2 yet
~NOiSE~
They're both remasters, hence the "2"s in the name. They sound great, Coalesce is one of my favorites. Comity is freaking awesome too.

Metalhead Dragon
The only melodeath I jam these days are the classic three. In Flames is the rarest for me to listen to, I think they finally did something really lackluster with their most recent album while I'd enjoyed most of what they did up to that point. Dark Tranquillity have never stopped being awesome though, and I really like the latest At the Gates album. From your list, I really like Dir en grey, Gridlink, Darkspace, Death (last four like Moog Said) and Voivod. I really dug the latest Leviathan album too. I like a lot of melodeath. I think some of my other favorites would be Carcass, Arch Enemy (first 4), Scar Symmetry, Blood Stain Child, Wintersun, The Black Dahlia Murder, and Conducting From The Grave (although they are melodic deathcore)

It is hardly deathcore in my opinion minus a few breakdowns. Blood Stain Child is more of a melodic death band with trance elements. Try listening to Epilision. I also enjoy Children of Bodoms first album, and Kalmahs first album aswell. Kalmah is literaly amazingI usually hardly ever come by something I dont like. I think some of the few bands I cannot stand at all are Meshuggah, Black Tongue, Darkthrone, Mayhem (minus Deathcrush of course), Most mainstream deathcore, all of crunkcore, Obituary, Slayer, Anthrax, most of Dragonforce, Gojira, and almost anything like Gojira and Meshuggah (generic math metal). Crunkcore isnt really metal at all...i dont even know what it is or who thought it was a good idea to mix crunk with hardcore
~NOiSE~
I agree about Meshuggah being anything but generic, they may not seem too original these days (especially their latest album) but Chaosphere and I are on a whole different level and no one has really been able to reproduce that kind of sound. I don't care for Gojira too much these days but I don't think they're bad. The Way of All Flesh would be the album of theirs that I'm most likely to jam if I ever felt like it. Chaosphere is really good but Catch33 will always be my favorite Meshuggah album, Koloss was such an awful album even my friend whose a huge djent fan actually said that album was "too djent for him" and that it was nothing but "helicopter drumming and headache riffs", though me and him both agree that Demiurge is a killer track, definitely the only worthwhile song from the album. Gojira are one of my favorites too though id probably say that The Way of All Flesh is behind From Mars To Sirius, have you ever tried their earlier albums? those were really good too. also since were posting non-shitty Metalcorehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRuZU9hwKc4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dl-G2f_TwWU

I really like that album. yeah im just on the first track of their new album and it does sound great right off the bat, i might go and see what their other stuff is like sometime. i really enjoyed that Sumac release, even though im a much bigger fan of Panopticon and onwards era of ISIS im still actually happy that Aaron Turner went back to the old heavy sludgy sound with this new band of his, id actually say that Sumac is heavier than anything that ISIS have done, except maybe The Red Sea EP, that was really dark and face wrecking

It's more sludgy awesomeness with weird ambient sections. Aaron Turner is a member as well as Caleb Scofield from Cave In and Nate Newton from Converge, among others. I like buying use as well, I'll generally buy a new release at full price but I'll definitely buy a used copy of an older album since it's doubtful that the artist is making any money from it. I tried listening to Frail Words Collapse and Shadows Are Security again but didn't enjoy them much at all...the two I bought I really the only ones I dig now. I don't think their last one was very good by comparison either.
