You are my furry waifu forever Moog

Here's the link, it should work. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/51qobo3r7v8c8hr/AADAqtvl8cKStsyR51O7NuiTa?dl=0

I'll check that song a bit later, I'm out right now.

ive got it downloaded now

Lower Definition are one of the few really good modern Post-Hardcore bands out there, they have a really good mildly proggy sound with some catchy atmosphere thrown into it, the vocals are really poppy but not too distracting unlike most other modern Post-Hardcore bands, the whole album itself sounds a bit monotone but the more you listen to it the more you start to notice the subtle differences. i dont know if theyre really 100% your style but if you do listen to the whole album i hope youre able to get into it. sucks that they split up after one album and two EPs.

I think you'll dig Kashee Opeiah, just know the album is over an hour long so it's an investment. It's one of my favorites though, I've had it for years.

I hope I dig Lower Definition too, they seem interesting by your description. I'll check them out when I get home!

i dont think im in the mood for longer albums right now, will get onto it tomorrow or whenever i feel like 1hr+ of heavy Metalcore, as of tonight im gonna give the rest of Dead Poetics discography a try since ive only listened to New Medicines, also gonna try out the stuff that Oceana released under Polyenso

New Medicines is the only one I know but it's great. Polyenso is also cool though it sounds a lot like Radiohead.

I've been really enjoying the new Haste the Day, it's their best.

im listening to Vices and its not too bad, less harsh vocals and more pop though thats not too bad to me. i love Radiohead so ill probably like Polyenso at least a little bit

Pressure the Hinges used to be my favorite Haste the Day record but now ive been preferring Attack of the Wolf King and Coward over it. love the technicality of Attack of the Wolf King and i love the diversity of Coward. Take, Lost, Accept and Secret are my personal favorite tracks from Coward.

I don't really did AOTWK that much, it just feels really generic to me. I'll have to listen to it again though. I don't think I liked Dreamer either but again I'd have to revisit it.

really? i thought you liked it? i know you werent into Dreamer and neither was i when i listened to it though i never listened to it after i got into Haste the Day since it was originally the album that turned me off from their music at first. i found the riffs on AOTWK to be really nice and technical sounding, its not the most original sound ill admit, but its definitely very far from being unoriginal to the point of where its generic.

Well I'll listen to it again, I just don't remember it leaving an impact at all. The riffs were a nice change from Dreamer for sure though.

i didnt really care for it nearly as much at first too but now its grown onto me big time, Dreamer was definitely their worst, bland and mediocre from start to finish

How do you like their first two?

love Burning Bridges to death Substance and Blue 42 are two of the best Haste the Day songs and the rest of the album is great too. not too huge of a fan of When Everything Falls but i still like it as is, not the worst at all, but not the album that id turn to first out of all their releases

Just discovered this band. Pretty tight.

Immolation is pretty popular and they have some albums that are considered classics. They have too much of an anti-religious stance for me to tolerate when listening but they have some interesting music for sure. They're comparable to Gorguts, though I think Gorguts is better.

Check this man, you might dig it.

Also to answer your question from a few days ago, my favorite hardcore album right now is probably The Sanity Universal by Seizures. https://seizures.bandcamp.com/album/the-sanity-universal-2014

i dont mind anti-religious lyrics too much just so long as they dont feel pretentious so im okay with Immolations lyrics.  ive only listened to Dawn of Possession but i dont think its a bad album at all, good sound, still am a bigger fan of Gorguts and Zealotry.

Moog you should go see Dir en grey, they're playing in Toronto on November 13th. I don't know how far that is from you though.

it is quite far, i live in Nova Scotia and it would be impossible to convince my parents to drive out to that distance considering how its during the school year

Aww man. Ah well, they're not coming anywhere near Florida either. And the last time a show was booked down here it was cancelled :(

Jamming some Code Orange Kids at the moment.

at least they actually booked in your area, id be surprised if they actually came here unless they were opening for a more mainstream band.

not that huge on Code Orange Kids but theyre still pretty cool. Love Is Love // Return to Dust had a few pretty sweet tracks on it, wasnt so huge on them when they changed their name and released I Am King, nothing bad on it but it wasnt really too interesting.

Yea but that was like four years ago haha. They haven't booked anything since then that I'm aware of.

I like Code Orange Kids a good bit. The name change was kind of unnecessary but I like both albums a lot, and the split with Full of Hell was great too.

im fine with Code Orange Kids, theyre not a bad band but i dont find what they do to really be all that spectacular theres other Hardcore bands that i can listen to that have a similar sound and same feel. the name change was stupid and their name sounded much better as Code Orange Kids instead of just Code Orange.

i do really enjoy Full of Hell though mostly because of the collab with Merzbow, that was intense. their other stuff was good but it didnt get my attention like the Merzbow collab did, probably one of the most unexpected collabs.

Full of Hell is probably a better band but Code Orange Kids are pretty unique with their messing around with shoegazey sounds. I admit that their sound isn't totally original but they write great riffs and Kurt Ballou killed it with the production on I am King

Full of Hell is a bit more unique though, love the harsh noise and drone influence.

the riffs are part of why i think they sound too familiar, the Shoegaze stuff going on in their sound is kinda cool but thats just buried under everything else that isnt really original to the point of where all i get from them is just Converge worship like most other bands that Kurt has recorded for. I Am King was boring to me, at least their first album had a bit of novelty on me even though it wore off on me pretty quickly, I Am King barely left an impression on me. i guess ill give both albums another chance since its been a while since ive checked out either, but as of now thats my stance.
