Wow I didn't even see that video haha. I guess I'm not the only who thinks that. I wonder if it's a good idea to get vocals lessons from a guy who's had throat surgery several times because of vocal damage?

well on one end you get to learn some really sick tricks that not many people can do, on the other end you are more than likely to get your voice funked up

anyways i got 13s Reborn and Madrigal De Maria onto my iPod gonna listen to them now

Me too man, though I'm not sure what my ordering would be. A Types is probably at the bottom though.

well my ordering would be like this:

The Satellite Years > Magnetic North > A Types > No Wings To Speak Of EP > The Frailty of Words

i just wish they didnt have to split up

Me too but it happens. I have to say that I really love Magnetic North, I feel like it's what A Types wanted to be but it didn't have the production or weight to back it up (though I still think it's great). Magnetic North just sounds huge and I love it. Their hardcore days were really awesome too though, even the first album.

i like the first album but it doesnt feel like it was Hopesfall at their highest potential, Magnetic North always will be an incredible album and i love A Types, it had a few weaker moments but songs like Champion Beyond Blessing, Icarus, Breathe From Coma and It Happens really make up big time for those weaker moments

Was just recommended this band called This Is Not a Game of Who the funk are You. They jam but also have some silly moments, not quite on the same scale as groups like iwrestledabearonce though. This band is polka-free, rifftastic metalcore.

eh ill look into them, might be fun to jam to.

i like Pierced From Within better but Breeding the Spawn isnt bad either

have you ever listened to this album before?

I am so stoked for this, that track was badass. Can't wait to hear more.

Made some purchases today, thought I'd share.

[spoiler=stuff I bought]WP_20150703_002_zps47cw1lxe.jpg

Left to right:

Elliott - U.S. Songs

Decahedron - Disconnection_Imminent (members of Frodus and Fugazi)

Scarlet - Something to Lust About (similar to Spitfire, their vocalist was even on the latter two Spitfire album)

Scarlet - Cult Classic (counterpart to Spitfire's Cult Fiction maybe?!)

Knut/Botch/Ananda split 10"

Scarlet is rad, they take inspiration from all the best metalcore groups. You'll dig them, they're definitely comparable to Spitfire.

U.S. Songs is cool, it's Elliott at their most aggressive but that's not saying much haha. It's the worst of the three but still a good listen.

U.S. Songs is cool, it's then at their most aggressive but that's not saying much haha. It's the worst of the three but still a good listen.

ah thats all good to know, ill download some Scarlet and listen to it tomorrow. eh ill look into US Songs as well but i kinda really wish that Elliott did something else that was as Post-Rock influenced as Song In the Air, that album was such an amazing beauty.

currently going through Dodecahedron

Yea Scarlet rules.

When I say U.S. Songs is more aggressive, it's really just more alternative sounding and doesn't really have that arena/post-rock style that Song In the Air does. That album is definitely their best.

Dodecahedron is awesome, and so is Decahedron! I was just jamming that in the car and it's awesome if you dig the member's earlier groups.

Going to check out Ananda, any group that's featured on a split with Knut and Botch is probably worth my time.

It's pretty much a straight up melodic emo/alternative album.
