Noooooo

Ugh, I only know tracks from that album. They're kind of post-metal-ish, they have shades of Vheissu-era Thrice, Pelican, and some other things. Lots of crunchy guitars and reverb, mostly singing vocals. They're pretty cool but I haven't delved into them much.

dont worry im listening to some of their tracks on YouTube

damn theyre great, kinda like Oceansize meets Jupiter-era Cave In. im definitely gonna have to look more into them

Their first couple of albums are a bit different, I think you'd really like Luce. Dissonant, choatic metalcore with an awesome atmosphere. .

Well that's a great album so good haha. I jammed it on the road during work the other day, "Boa" is a fave.

Been jamming Norma Jean quite a bit lately. Some of their recent facebook posts have led people to assume that they'll be doing an O' God, the Aftermath anniversary tour, which would be pretty rad. I've also found myself really digging The Anti Mother, I think I place it above Meridional now.

everything about Birth.Eater is great, its got huge atmosphere, heavy sludgy riffs and catchy Post-Hardcore hooks.

if Norma Jean do that anniversary tour then i hope they come around near me. The Anti-Mother is a cool album, Robots 3 Humans 0 is one of my favorite Norma Jean tracks

Keelhaul is like prog-mathcore, lots of spiraling hammer-ons and crazy drumming, kind of like Botch and Knut. A lot of the songs flow into each other and vocals are fairly sparse but used effectively. I think you'd dig it.

that sounds cool, ill probably give it a listen tomorrow since its too late at night to download anything, ill also give that album by The Secret a listen tomorrow. what about Decapitated or Artificial Brain?

Artificial Brain is a definite yes, check their debut. Really awesome, weird, sci-fi themed death metal, you'll like it a lot.

As for Decapitated, their first album is really awesome tech-death but their latest stuff has not been up to par. Check out Winds of Creation and go from there.

i figured that Artificial Brain were like that considering how they got compared to Ulcerate and Gigan on last.fm, theyve only released their debut though.

ill give Decapitateds discography a listen too, theyre regarded as one of the classic Tech Death bands so i figured they might be worth the go too

Converge song because why not

really wish that my CD version of No Heroes wouldnt skip on this track considering how its one of my favorites

Aww that sucks. When a CD I like skips, I immediately replace it, though sometimes my local record store is able to clean it and make it work again. I take much better care of my CDs now than I used to though.

Carnival Is Forever is alright, some cool tracks and some ok tracks.

Celeste is awesome, French hardcore/black metal/screamo. Kind of like Rorcal, I think I remember you liking them?

Carnival Is Forever is pretty solid, im enjoying it so far, some tracks are a bit weaker but if you can get around that, the tracks that work really funking work

yeah i remembered showing you Rorcal one night a few years ago, Celeste i first heard of in this thread and ive seen them appear a few times on other sites, they seem cool and ill look into them when im in the mood for that sort of stuff
