That Carcass album is good too.yeah it actually tempted me into a Blaze avi kinda surprised at how i feel about Surgical Steel. when i first listened to it, i thought it was okay but now ive listened to it twice this weekend. still cant get into Heartwork, Swansong or any of their earlier work. also everything that Voivod have put out is great, except for their first two albums. And my AOTY changed to something new but it's not remotely related to Metal or hardcore so...the new mewithoutYou is sick, but i still have yet to listen to the last half of it i liked the first track Refused had released but Francophone was pretty meh, ill try out the new song i enjoyed the new Envy, its not the greatest but its Envy being Envy, which is good enough for me its alright if your AOTY aint Metal or Hardcore, id still be curious to hear what it is, i havent decided my AOTY but i have a few top contenders Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Definitely check Withering to death., it 1-ups the heaviness of Vulgar but still has the j-rock vibe that left with Marrow of a Bone. i feel thats the reason why Vulgar is my least favorite, Dir En Grey were great to me because of how well they melded their melodic and heavy influences as well as just being straight up melodic so hearing them throw all that away in favor of a more purely aggressive sound made me feel a bit disappointing but nonetheless i still feel like its a good album and i enjoy listening to it, its just not my most preferred side of Dir En Grey, id much rather go for an album like Arche or Kisou. anyways finished checking out The Dear Hunters first album, theyre okay at least judging by their debut, ill have to check their next two albums and come up a final judgement after that.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBdfIH3ne5ki prefer The Receiving End of Sirens over this Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
