Guitars and Drums are enjoyable. I think TDWP are one of the few metalcore bands that exceeded their shelf life and still can create some great stuffeh i wasnt too into Supernova or South of the City, might listen to those tracks again and see if theyve grown on me, but as of now i dont really care for either too much. I just bought a shirt and a CD copy of Antipathy. I'll probably buy a vinyl of The Sanity Universal but they said they might do a CD reissue sometime. i need to listen to the new Emery and Envy albums still, also gotta get my hands on the new Haste the Day sometimeNew Emery is pretty much the same old stuff but it's ok. Susie Posted June 8, 2015 Report Share Posted June 8, 2015 alrighty then summing up my new listens for the day: that new Senses Fail song is quite good, definitely better than what they had on their previous record also went and listened to New Medicines by Dead Poetic, i only listened to the first two songs, it wasnt too bad. these guys got compared a lot to Underoath, Emery and Anberlin though so far theyre nowheres near either of those bands. also gave Pierced From Within by Suffocation a listen, it was cool Tech Death. and finally i listened to the new Haste the Day record, best listen out of everything today, imo Accept and Secret were the two best tracks. i will try to remember the new Emery and Envy albums tomorrow, im done for the day with music. New Emery sounds like Emery, new envy sound like envy. i find it kinda funny that i really hated their last album, its their heaviest release and i like a lot of their earlier heavy songs, so its kinda weird that i hated the heaviest one, it just felt really boring to me. ill listen to the rest of New Medicines since it sounded pretty good from what i heard out of it, though i just didnt feel like listening to it for some reason. yeah Suffocation arent what id consider to be a favorite, but i still did enjoy their 3rd album and the two before that im guessing arent too bad either.
