Susie
Darkspace are definitely an excellent band, really underrated too anyways gave this album a shot since these guys are one of the more popular bands off of Solid State, and honestly i had to stop listening to it at the 30 minute mark due to boredom. it had its shinning moments but there were way too many cliche moments on the album to make the finer moments worth the trip, i probably would of loved this if i had heard it while i was in elementary or junior high, but im not so ill just say its a "meh" album and consider myself outside of the hype for this band.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okoa7ply-ng on other news i gave this band a listen, damn this is some good stuffhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gBjMie47234 also Coral i got around to listening to that Pyrrhon album that you posted about a while ago, pretty sick stuff and im definitely gonna be listening to it quite a lot

I recently ordered a bundle of all five of their releases from their record label, really looking forward to getting that! I used to love Demon Hunter back in high school but I don't find them interesting at all anymore. The vocalist Ryan Clark does some vocals on Becoming the Archetype's "The Epigone" though. I'll check out Engine Down pretty soon, I've heard they're good. I agree about that Pyrrhon album being awesome, it's like all the weird death metal I love filtered through an obscene amount of noise. Really awesome stuff. Some Nordfrost Weird, this is a cover of an instrumental track by another band? I'll have to look into both groups to see what they really sound like. Jammed some Coalesce today. I didn't realize this, but their drummer on Functioning on Impatience and Give Them Rope, James Dewees, has made many notable contributions to other bands. Would you belive My Chemical Romance? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Dewees#Discography

Would you belive My Chemical Romance? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Dewees#Discography weird, i barely hear talk of Darkspace anywhere at all. yeah Demon Hunter are pretty boring, they play Metalcore to the point of where any Metal or core influences get drowned in the over production and unnecessarily extensive clean vocals. i could only see myself liking them back when i was a huge fan of stuff like As I Lay Dying, Atreyu and Killswitch Engage which is definitely not the sort of Metalcore that i dig nowadays Pyrrhon feel like a noisier version of Gorguts and Ulcerate, which is something that i love i dont really listen to much Coalesce though its really sweet that their drummer did some stuff for The Get Up Kids and he did the only New Found Glory album that i still listen to. this is why ZAO are such a great bandhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdSKjzzy4d8

Mr.Robot
Yeah, Engine Down was damn sweet. Way too underrated. They did a reunion show back in 2010 with Thursday and it was awesome! They can do both heavy and melancholy well. Heavy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLK2BhvZ19A&index=9&list=PL0W46SgZaJbcpYmKKwuiarDEiuthxt_Js prog-issh melancholy shoegazing drone https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Pmd3YHSS1I

~NOiSE~
As long as it mostly fits within the metal/hardcore frame, it's fine. Seeing Norma Jean in a few weeks! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhBZYhgT6jY

~NOiSE~
Some Yellow Eyes There was a lot to like about that track, but a lot of the transitions were really awkward. I like the overall sound and vocals though, cool stuff. New Drudkh track! http://www.nocleansinging.com/2015/02/24/an-ncs-premiere-drudkh-till-foreign-ground-shall-cover-our-eyes/ Also new Maths track! https://soundcloud.com/tangledtalk/laughter-stirs-the-canyon-

Brave Murder Day is generally considered the best of their old stuff. As for the new stuff, I've only heard the most recent three albums and they are all pretty good. I've decided I want to acquire all Discordance Axis and Gridlink full-length albums.
