Thrill Seeker is the only August Burns Red album that I enjoy. "The Seventh Trumpet" is the best.

youre absolutely insane, everything that ABR has done is great, my personal favorite though is Rescue and Restore, i love Thrill Seeker as well, The Seventh Trumpet is jawdroppingly good

do you like Misery Signals?

I've heard Controller which is pretty good, but that style of metalcore doesn't appeal to me so much these days. I don't even jam Thrill Seeker much anymore.

Currently listening to Knut, Challenger is one of my favorite metalcore albums.

im not really into this sort of style of Post-Hardcore like i was back in elementary school, though i still cant help but to enjoy listening to these guys after all these years every once in a while, sad that Tyson died recently

Musician deaths are always sad, though I never got into that band.

I've been jamming the new Slipknot album actually.

Yea, it's really good actually. I don't think they've ever done anything bad but I haven't paid much attention since high school, so I've been going back and listening to all their stuff.

Oh f*ck yes! Job for a Cowboy's releasing a new album next month.

Came across this to have revealed the news:

I am happy for you! I am not a fan of the band though.

Do you generally like really technical death metal or are you into atmospheric stuff as well?

Atmospheric is dope, but technical is what I'd rather listen to.

Do you like Gorguts, Portal or Mitochondrion?

rip once again Sunny

listening to A Sense of Purpose right now, i fail too see how its really as bad as the fans say that it is

He comes and goes like the wind.

Have you heard The Mirror's Truth EP? It has that song plus three songs that didn't make it on A Sense of Purpose. It's a wonder that they didn't because they're better than a lot of the songs on the album, though I still think it's a great album.

the lucky bastard you are, i keep on hearing about how great they are live

It actually wasn't the best show I've been to. It was pretty good but I had some issues with it.

Bad-

1. Songs from the first half of their discography do not mesh well with the ones from the second half in my opinion. The pop-punk/emo sound from Your Favorite Weapon and Deja Entendu do not transition well into the arena-ready guitar epics of The Devil and God... or the angular post-hardcore jams found in Daisy.

2. Very, very loud. Much clipping in the speakers, and certain melodies were hard to pick out.

3. Jesse Lacey is showing his age vocally, that is when he could actually be heard. He was usually drowned out by the fans singing along.

4. Brand New fans are terrible people.

Good-

1. Brand New played.

2. Really cool lighting during some songs, particularly the opener "You Won't Know" and "At the Bottom", the latter which had the lights sync to the music during the bridge.

3. Some massive riffs added to the end of "You Won't Know", during the "So they say in heaven..." section. Really intense.

4. Pretty much every song from The Devil and God... or Daisy, the rest were good as well but felt more like crowd pleasers and had a very different mood. Probably just personal bias since I enjoy the latter two albums much more than the former two.

Overall not a perfect show, but a lot of things to like. 6/10.

Good stuff bro. I've been jamming Brand New's Daisy myself.

I like your Taokaka :)

Taokaka is adorabs and Showbread have always put out good stuff, Daisy is a pretty sick album too, my personal faves from it are Gasoline, At the Bottom, Bought A Bride, Vices and the title track
