Long Live is definitely my favorite, I think it captures the unhinged live performance the best out of any of their other album, plus the songs are just sick. Everything Is Alive... is also up there, I think it's very underrated. I love every album they've released though.

The Chariot are solid as hell, every release of theirs is loveable in some sort of way and are easily the best band that Mathcore has to offer

If you're digging the NIN vibe then think you'd love their Anorexia/Nervosa albums.

I know. Just said that because it reminded me of the band.

Oh. Forget me then!

Good stuff, Anorexia/Nervosa is probably their heaviest work. Age of Reptiles is much more rock-oriented with little to no screaming.

Age of Reptiles seems to be one of the least favourable Showbread album, i heard that it has more of a Stoner Rock sound to it, Anorexia is gonna be a fun listen for sure

People were mostly upset that Josh Dies cut the screaming for most of the album. They came back in full force after that though.

so basically its just people whining about how theres less screaming, lol people will complain about any little change that a band goes through

Pretty much. To be fair, it's probably the worst Showbread album but it's not bad at all. I actually haven't listened to the last two so I can't say how good they are.

Not really digging it too much, personally. I have been listening to Underoath though.

Also, the new Anberlin album is out and it is awesome.

i dont really seem to go one way or the other with the newest stuff coming out from Darkest Hour, Underoath are always gonna be a top choice, love all their albums especially The Changing of Times, Define the Great Line and Disambiguation, also ive heard that the newest Anberlin is top notch, sad to see them go.

I got the chance to sit down and go through the new Boris album, to me its the best out of their recent style, though my overall faves by them will always be Amplifier Worship and Feedbacker

I just got the new Anberlin today and it's awesome, I've listened to it about ten times.

Agree with you on the new Boris, it's pretty great. Wata kills with that solo in "Vanilla".

Mikael said that if Opeth made another heavy album, it would be pure death metal, which is pretty cool

if i were into pure Death Metal then id agree with you, sadly im not so that doesnt sound pretty cool, though i can respect their decision to make a pure Death Metal album if they decide to do that

So who here has seen the MV for Forced Gender Reassignment? Cause I've recently gotten addicted to the song.

Saw it during English class, in high school, on full volume, and my teacher was vegan.

Cattle Decapitation is a great band. Have most of their albums.

Plot twist 2: it sounds like Bring Me the Horizon

Plot twist 3: It becomes their most popular album
