Susie
Aw man, that sucks :( Sorry Moog. Glad you're digging eny though, which album did you listen to? I haven't heard The Pine but I'll check them out. All those other bands you are going to check out are also awesome, especially Daitro and Portraits of Past. .eh, im kinda used to it, even big name bands that i used to like when i was younger were always playing 19+ shows, still bummed out about it though since i remembered literally shouting for joy when i first heard it being announced oh well Sed Non Satiata are amazing and i dont know why i put them off for so long. The Pine are amazing, really more punky emo/post-hardcore im definitely gonna be listening to them a ton. Diatro are sick as hell too, definitely gonna be listening to them a lot as well. I checked out the older Envy stuff because i already did hear songs out of the newer albums. Gonna be going for The Kodan Armada after im done with Sed Non Satiata

~NOiSE~
Would you recommend any of the bands mentioned you mentioned to me? Sed Non Satiata, Daitro (both from France) and envy (from Japan) are screamo bands that have heavy post-rock influence, and they are all amazing. I would definitely recommend them if you like that sort of thing or are interested in trying it out. Kodan Armada is very raw, abrasive emo/punk and they are also pretty good, but probably not the best the genre has to offer in my opinion. I haven't listened to The Pine yet. Susie
Would you recommend any of the bands mentioned you mentioned to me?yeah id say give them all a shot, though i probably wouldnt show someone who hasnt listened to the abrasive side of screamo The Kodan Armada, id probably say that pg.99, Saetia, Raein, You and I, Loma Prieta, Orchid and United Nations are better bands to show off the abrasive side of screamo Dang! I really need to move in to wherever you two live. The only band that's coming my way are Oathbreaker, Eyes Set To Kill and Touche Amore. i always was wondering whether Eyes Set to Kill were worth checking out or not since i never heard anything bad about them but the similar artists on last.fm are all terrible
~NOiSE~
New Panopticon <33333333 I've been meaning to check these guys out, what's your favorite album? I've heard Social Disservices is one of the harshest and I need some harsh stuff. Also probably going to buy some more Altar of Plagues this week. Oh and Ash Borer is awesome. Billy Batson
i always was wondering whether Eyes Set to Kill were worth checking out or not since i never heard anything bad about them but the similar artists on last.fm are all terribleI enjoy them more live rather than their records. Their records are decent at best but go ahead and listen to them yourself and form your own opinion. Also lol last.fm. Their similar artist thing is pretty inaccurate seeing as Circa Survive, Norma Jean and Circle Takes The Square are considered as highly similar to Glassjaw in their books. So everyone who listened to Black Metal MayheM were being recommended to Renard, a guy who makes a much more chaotic type of electronic music. It was hilarious to see a bunch of metal elitists lose their sheet on Renards shoutbox also the screamo Orchid vs doom metal Orchid one was a funny read toohttp://www.last.fm/music/Orchid?ac=Orchid some Today Is the Day because they need and deserve more love from peoplehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJf5tDoQFiI

I've been digging the last three a lot this week.War All the Time is my most absolute favorite by a longshot, i feel like its their most emotional album, i love how they managed to give a more accessible sound to them while still maintaining that Thursday feel, the lyrical content to each song and how they are written is so interesting, especially the title track (though they were always great with songwriting i feel like this album is their strongest with the songwriting department). i could literally go on for hours about how much i love War All the Time, it was my first Thursday album and it helped me break down some of my musical boundaries. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E1krsOZf-M4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ysxgzUKnUA

Ah, so it's a bit more personal for you? It's really hard for me to rank them since they are all great but I think the progress they made throughout their career is amazing. I personally love Common Existence and No Devolución, and I recently started enjoying A City by the Light Divided a lot more. Love the fuzzy walls of guitar and electronic ambiance. Mr.Robot
Thursday is similar to Thrice in that they always release great lps and if you think the current one is great, the next one comes out and it's even better. No Devolucion was awesome. Also, UN's s/t slays. AOTY material...until 68's new LP comes out.

It's not as good as the past couple Chariot albums, but it's still pretty great. Very bluesy noise-rock, worth picking up for sure. The new United Nations also slays, though I think I like the self-titled a bit better. I think I like Never Mind the Bombings, Here Comes Your Six Figures a little more too, but it's still one of my favorite releases this year. just wait a few more years and itll be easier anyways i think that this album is officially my favorite Envy releasehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ycGs9sGCI8I Amazing album, love that massive opening riff on the first track. It's tied with All the Footprints... as my favorite.

Susie
am i the only one who likes Wars and Rumours of Wars best out of all of the albums by The Chariot, like i mean its cool that they decided to do more on their later releases, but when im listening to The Chariot i want it as thrashy and noisy and chaotic as it can possibly be, Long Live is in second for me also The 68 are pretty badass from what ive heard so far

Everything Is Alive... is also up there, I think it's very underrated. I love every album they've released though.
