and despite how every single Cave In album is amazing, the best out of all their masterpieces will always be Jupiter, Big Riff and Requiem are two of the greatest songs to ever exist

I think Cave In's best is Until Your Heart Stops. I would say it's White Silence if it weren't for the last three tracks on that album.

Indeed. And I think most will put Life/Less at the bottom of the list because of how messy/chaotic the album is. The EPs are the same in that sense.

 

Like Finch due to their second LP and them being enjoyable watching live. Their first was pretty bland and they tried to be a Glassjaw carbon copy with more pop sound. But the tracks with Daryl Palumbo on them was pretty great.

i didnt really care too much for their first but it had a few good songs on it, Say Hello to Sunshine was real good

 

im not too worried about them only saying maybe because in the music industry 90% of the time a band says maybe it actually means a yes

The messiness isn't really the issue, I love that kind of stuff. I think Life/Less feels a bit less cohesive than the rest, but I'm going to listen to the whole discography tonight and come back with a second opinion. Again I can't speak for the EPs but I've been told that they're basically melodramatic Ampere rip-offs.

another band im hoping will come is Alexisonfire, they were my first hardcore band and Old Crows/Young Cardinals was my first album i bought besides that live Linkin Park CDs *shudders* i was only 10 i didnt know any better X(. Anyways seeing the music video for Young Cardinals for the first time and headbanging to high hell was one awesome experience.

Old Crows/Young Cardinals is a very underrated album, don'y know why people hate on it so much. I really wish they'd made another album too because if Dog's Blood was any indication, it would've been the most hardcore thing they've ever done.

ive been wanting to give Loma Prieta more love because they definitely deserve it

My favorite is probably the self-titled album but Watch Out! is a close second. Dog's Blood is floating around in there somewhere to just because of how much of a shift in sound it was. An awesome shift in sound.

i listened to a few tracks off of Watch Out, from what ive heard it sounds good, though i doubt that AoF could put out a bad album

 

Dogs Blood was definitely an interesting and cool shift in their sound, would of been nice to hear how they could evolve more on that sound

Didn't know that bout them. Self-righteous dicks indeed. Though, the saddest part for me was that I thought Thursday is touring again until I saw the date... :(

 

 

Blood Brother is up there with Glassjaw, At The Drive-In, Thursday and Thrice imo anyway. And this is half of the band members with one of their vocalist in a new band(Though they have been on the scene for quite some time).

Activity here comes in waves. 

 

I'm not a big fan of Dance Gavin Dance but I've been digging The Fall of Troy's first album really hard.
