New Mastodon song.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wHdSlmQD2Qs

Bit iffy about the chorus, but I like it.

new Deftones and now new Mastodon songs, damn and i thought that 2014 was gonna be a boring year for music (besides the new Bayside and Taking Back Sunday releases)

though anyways ive definitely heard better songs by them though this song isnt particularly bad at all

I'm still not in love with the band but I like the album. I probably won't listen to it much though.

I always did like Wildlife even though i thought it was a bit of an overrated album, i just really liked how emotional it was. Rooms of the House is hitting me like a drug addiction, still not really too big on their first release.

Listening to Coloring Book for the first time, im really digging this side of Glassjaw

Also listened to A City By The Light Divided last night, damn this album is gold too

Also to put the icing on the cake new Boris coming our way:

i like the album artwork it has, because kitty cats

and i live in Nova Scotia where we only get radio rock concerts and country music festivals, also theres only two record stores (HMV and a secondhand shop, both have good stuff in them) and lets not forget how last.fm literally taunts me by bringing up recommended events that are all the way down in Toronto, gee thanks last.fm for reminding me that i cant go to see BTBAM, Protest the Hero and Boris.

i think that Parade of Chaos is my favorite ZAO album

im still kicking myself for not buying this album with my birthday money

Not my favorite but it's still great. My favorite is probably Liberate Te Ex Inferis, love the Neurosis-influenced sound mixed with their usual dissonant metallic riffs.

love Liberate Te Ex Inferis too, its probably my second favorite, though really all ZAO albums are sick and wicked in their own way

I bought the shirt haha. FLCL is my favorite anime and Old Gray is a sweet band, definetely check out their latest album.

Some good stuff in there, that sucks about the Refused and ATDI albums =/

I used to listen to Soilwork but not so much anymore since I dove head-first into the hardcore scene. They're a good band though.

id probably say that my all time favorite anime is Evangelion, though FLCL is definitely a close contender, ill definitely look into Old Gray soon, just havent gotten around to all that much music due to broken laptop and only being able to get and add stuff off of my computer at dads

ive pretty much dove right into hardcore too, but recently ive been wanting to diversify myself again, i also have rediscovered my long lost and forgotten love for Septic Flesh, might re-listen to some Children of Bodom sometime too

and words can not describe how much rage i have about that Refused album, ATDI im not as mad about due to how their CDs are at other shops that i go to, Refused on the other hand arent at any other place...some people just wanna be a jerkface and watch the world burn

Got some sick shows coming up in the next few months. First Shai Hulud, then Deafheaven (headlining a $12 show, thank God!), and Agaloch!! Also in August is the SOUTHERN DARKNESS FESTIVAL. Bands I know will be there are Pelican, Junius, Mouth of the Architect and Weekend Nachos. I am such a happy person.

sweet last year we had Opeth and In Flames, but i missed both of those, this year the best weve got is Alice in Chains, who im not a major fan of, but still do like, City and Color came here this year but i had to miss them because money. Also my mom wants to go to Fredrock this year, but after looking through last years list, im not really excited to hear what this years list is gonna be like:

http://www.foxrocks.ca/Event/ConcertListings/Details.aspx?ID=363948

sounds like youll be having a good year for concerts though.

Anyways in my "diversify" process ive fallen in love with Opeth again and am now acquiring hype for their new album
