Gospel.
It's a 5150, so it's automatically metal/hardcore related. [spoiler=New rig] Traded my Mesa 2x12 cab for the white 4x12. Sold the Mark V head and bought an EVH 5150, a new switcher, and a DigiTech whammy. I'm also trying to sell an Alex Wade (Whitechapel) signature 7-string as well. The guitar is a custom Carvin TL60. Susie
Just found out this was a brand until 2002. The resemblance to the band logo is uncanny.Thats where the band got their name from And since weve mentioned post-rock on numerous occasions i feel the need to share these guyshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVH3ZRW2TLI

I'm thinking of ordering one some time considering how inexpensive they are and how customize-able they are. I think I was looking into the SCB6, but regardless I'd probably get a Tele-shaped guitar.Anyway how do the pickpus sound? I'd probably swap them out if I got one but I've heard they're a bit small and some modding needs to be done. Also, white guitar and amp, you sir have great taste. Tentacruel
I like it, but I'd have to hear the final version of it to really say one way or the other.

[/guitar nerdgasm]I loved the Mark V and IV, but I needed the money, and having a $2000 head that does a little bit more than I need it to was starting to hurt my wallet lol. If you're looking for versatility over a one-trick pony, and you have the cash, I'd go for a Mark V. The EVH 5150 is less than half the price ($800) and is a lot beefier and gainier than the Mark V, and it does better in an analog mix than my Mark V. The thing sounds like an overly-angry mad beast. It's rad. The Carvin.... is a dream, dude. The neck is smooth as butter, and the thing is SOLID. It's a bit heavier than I'm used to, but it feels indestructible, and Carvin is really good with the options. The only thing is, the volume knob was damaged in transit, but they replaced it for free. I'm gonna slap some duncans in it, because the stock pickups are nice, but they're not my thing. I need something bassier and more percussive. I also have a thing for tele-bodies :3I love the get-up kids so muchhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FOnSFiYFQsMy favorite 90s wave emo bandI love you. There's too many guitars I want right now. Deciding right now between a Carvin, an ESP Eclipse (if I can find a used one within my budget), and this. Still have yet to listen to it but I might pretty soon and might even like it since a lot of naysayers keep chugging how good it is. But anyway, the new Animals As Leader album- The Joy Of Motion is pretty sweet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhSVwcRcMIk

Tentacruel
Shall i remind you of the fact that youre the only djent fan in this threadI'm a casual fan of Periphery. I wouldn't really call that being a djent fan. Most of the stuff that's been posted has been post-hardcore and noise rock. I'm more of a metal guy. Also you just posted metalcore. Come on.
