Jack White is indie?

Exactly what I was thinking...so are The Strokes, Outkast, Damian Marley and The Kills.

Well I'm seeing them and Intronaut open for Between the Buried and Me if you think that's weird, but I was mostly referring to some of the festivals they'll be attending.

Yeah...that's an odd one. I know about Govball fest but aside from Defheaven, The Strokes, Jack White and The Kill...I don't really wanna go through all that just to see the few band I wanted to see.

Just realized that the Deafheaven show you saw is the same tour I'll be seeing, just not sure if I want to pay the $25. Would you say it's worth it for just Deafheaven?

Defheaven's live shows alone are always worth it. That and I'm also a massive fan of BTBAM so I'll say yes.

I'm not as big into BTBAM as I used to be (I thought their last album was pretty disappointing) but I've seen them before and they put on a good show. Intronaut is cool too, don't know anything about Kindred.

Also cool to hear about Saosin

As much as I love Saosin with Green, I hope it's a one time thing since I'm one of the few minority actually like Circa Survive more than Saosin.

For a while I've been thinking about what really happy, major key death metal, or just extreme metal would sound like, and trying to write some.

Deafhaven beat me to it.

Admitting defeat to Deafhaven is nothing to be embarrass about, they're just awesome! Haha.. Although, I don't know what you mean by happy though. Their instrumental might sound warm and fuzzy/atmospherically dreamy but the lyrics are really grim-dark and bleak.

Haha...Sumerian rec. Also, The Darkest Hours are also sign to Sumerian so that makes it 3.

And more people should listen to Rx Bandit.

I dont know if I prefer Saosin or circa survive, though I find circa survive to be more interesting than saosin.

Never heard of The Darkest Hours so I'll look into them, and yeah RX Bandits are killer.
